Hello and welcome to the official Through Starless Skies AU blog! Be warned that there will be full game spoilers here, including ALL optional content, as it is all canon to this AU as well!

For those unfamiliar, here is a quasi-short summary of the AU's premise:
In Act 5, Siffrin resorts to going to the House of Change himself to make sure that he is the one who kills the King. However, he fails to do this. But, what if he succeeded? What if they realize that even this would not break the time loop? And more importantly, how much more would this revelation break them?
Embittered and without rationale, Sif repeats Act 5, dashing through the House faster than ever. Thinking they missed something. This time, he fails to fight the King, and encounters Mal du Pays as canon. He lets go...
And in this AU, his party is too late. He succumbs to the Sadness within him, and reawakens as the most chaotic, emotionally broken down version of themself - we'll call this fella Squibbin. Now out and about, Squibbin seeks to keep his family with him forever, by choosing the final option he can think of...terrorizing all of Vaugarde, until the very end.

The three stories are recommended to be read in publication order.
Follow The (Blinding) Script - The primary story of the AU. Takes place in between Acts 5 and 6.
You Have A Country To Ruin - Midquel to the above. Wholly Siffrin focused, takes place during some chapters. Contains darker themes such as (CW) "self-termination"!
Loved Ones, Sweeping Away The Fog - Epilogue story after Act 6. Super whump.
Blank Page - Alternate bad ending. VERY dark and VERY bleak.
With Those Who Follow - FTBS in the POV of other characters, throughout every chapter and then some.
Lightless Constellations - Loose to non canon spinoffs. Unconnected.

Hopefully I'll find some motivation for this blog sometime soon, but with this said, keep on jinglin!!!!
Their body is riddled with scars, owing to a headcanon I have of Siffrin where he gets one scar per loop. Compounding this, they also have lightless veins along his skin, ending at his hands and feet which now have claws - Mal du Pays seeping within.
Because anatomy, he DOESN'T have four ears - their human ones have in essence melted off, so it's just kitty mode.

As of the early morning of June 4th of 2025, it has been exactly a year since I first conceived the idea of this AU, courtesy of u/KuroNeko_San's artwork of an emo/villain Siffrin giving me the inspiration - see here;
I've technically had the thought for even longer, though it is with that post that the concept solidified fully.
This fanfic remains one of my proudest achievements online - even with my anxiety at the time probably rushing it some, I am so proud of how it's turned out and the impact it's made on the community. It was through this story that I've made some awesome friends, got some amazing fanart, and even learned many things about myself throughout this year, and I regret none of it at all.
See this message almost like Squibbin to the party - this wild goose chase through Dormont would never have been possible without you people. I truly am happy to have had this amazing opportunity to entertain you guys - and mayyybe annoy others >w0 /fond - with my sopping wet cat. I look back to see everyone's comments, bookmarks and so on day after day and it always brings a smile to my face, knowing someone out there loves my lil miscreation as much as I do.
