What can be more enjoyable then walking on the warm sand with the ocean water lapping over your feet.
Blogger with a twist
Hi Folks This is new to me. I am in need of genuine subscribers to my blog. I blog about the way I, a British, Pakistani, cancer survivor, NHS worker and a carer, sees the world. I have been told I have a unique way of telling my story and the way I see the world. So come give me a chance.
Thoughts, life experiences, real life stories.

The veil of silence - snippet from part 1
A snippet from a story I wrote, there's elements of reality and fiction within the lines. Come visit my blog to read the rest.
What can I do to stop this from happening, Jasmine thought desperately. Her internal monologue racing with escape plans. Knowing full well the reply would be, nothing, she had no power. The place was heavily guarded, it was impenetrable.
The elder ladies surrounding her , continued to fuss, getting her ready, thinking nothing of Jasmines plight, for they too had gone through this. The only difference between her and the ladies was they were happy with their lot, they didn’t see it as an issue, after all they were being fed and clothed. What more could a wife ask for.
Jasmine was from a different generation and yet here she was. She had secretly learnt to read and write. Nothing had changed the patriarchal traditions . Girls were married early and from that point they lived to serve their husbands and raise children. Their voices remained silent and their opinions unspoken.
Jasmine was marrying into a well known feudal family. Who owned vast quantity of land in the area. The father in law was the head Sheikh of the area therefore he was held to a high regard and had a lot of power, which he did not hesitate to use. His word was law and final.......

Some times even amongst grief, sad times and sorrow comes a profound moment. That is exactly what happened whilst I was at the graveyard of all places.
Hey folks, I am new to this, so not sure what I am doing. My main target is to introduce my blog to a wider audience from different backgrounds and initiate safe discussions about what has been read. My blogs are authentic, about my experiences and my thoughts. I am a thinker, slightly crazy, a day dreamer, cancer survivor, a carer, NHS worker and a whole lot more. So why not give me a chance and come and get to know me and my mind.
