Roughly one in 10 people in Central African Republic (CAR) have been driven from their homes by violence that has overwhelmed the country since a coup in March 2013. "We are extremely concerned about the living conditions of the displaced,” said Sylvain Groulx, MSF head of mission in CAR, “who are overcrowded in churches, mosques, or schools, or living in the bush with no access to health care, food, or water, and are threatened by epidemics. Much more needs to be done and it needs to be done now."
Does religion have a place in society in 2013?

enforcing laws because they don't like laws being forced upon them? makes sense...
Let me make one thing clear before you start reading this, this is not a personal attack on Muslim culture, i'm simply using this example as an opportunity to voice my opinion on wether religion still has a place in our society in 2013 with all that is wrong in the world.
these two are bunch of pretentious and self-indulgent individuals who believe they're that important to the world to force their view of how life should be upon others, when really people care more about what Joey Essex is doing on Im a Celebrity tonight (which says a lot about our society) when really all that they are doing is making things worse. Their families have come to the UK to try and seek a better life, which is based around equality and partly humanitarianism, I use the word partly because there are so many issues in the western world that still need to be confronted. I don't know what we can do? perhaps fight extremism with extremism, pretty much their contradictory methods ayee? If they are too tenacious and closed minded to let go of this dated fiction i.e. religion, then something needs to be done, after much of humanity learnt the wrongs of such societies as the KKK, how can extremeist behaviour still exist at the end of 2013
I personally appose religion but i'm not going to tell people to let go of it, because it's their life and their own choice, i'm a strong believer that individuals have the right to make a choice as for some religion does a whole lot of good for them as a person. Extremism needs to be eradicated and I can't see an end to that until everyone accepts living with this perception of religion in your life is primitive, so perhaps put them in the middle of a rainforest and let them see how they survive without this western way of life. My guess is that they can't, so drop this idiotic act that your god has sent you to preach, you're really just trying to make yourself feel more important than you actually are, we all came from the same single cell organisms, same planet, same ancestors, settle down and spend that fraction of your day where you'd usually be planning the next step in your grand scheme of things which in the end will lead to the demise of humanity trying to solve issues that really matter in the world, famine, child abuse, inequality, even safe water so that societies less fortunate than the one we are from can build up their infrastructure, Just to name a few blatant problems.
I did not proof read this, i just needed to get my ideas down while it was fresh is my mind, again this is not a directed attack on these two involved or their religious choices. Just a reminder that it's time to wake up and start worrying about the greater scope of things.
