Edgard Luxford was Elésyne’s first friend long before he was simply her brother. As the heir to House Luxford, he carried the weight of his family’s responsibilities on his shoulders, yet he always found time for his sister. Confidant, supporter, and partner in mischief, he was one of the few people around whom she never had to play a role. While others saw a future lady, he simply saw Elésyne.

Together, they grew up side by side, sharing both their joys and their worries. Whenever others tried to decide her future for her, Edgard reminded her that she had the right to choose her own path.

His death left a wound that never truly healed, and to this day, Elésyne still mourns the one who was her confidant, and her oldest friend.
