Hello! This was my first time ever collaborating in a BigBang event as an artist! 🌟🎨

My piece was an accompaniment to our wonderful writer @aberooski's GX fic Chazzerella

Summary: Abused, humiliated, and forced to work as a servant in his own home by his tyrannical older brothers for years after the untimely death of their parents, Chazz has little left but misery, spite, and the stubborn hope that one day things will take a turn for the better once again. But when a masquerade ball is thrown on the night of the prince's twentieth birthday, with a little help from his Fairy Godfather, Chazz may just find something more wonderful than he could have ever imagined

21. Lavender

It’s okay to rest.

This was actually done near the end of last June for PuzzleJune. But I got nervous about it being overly cute cause it was nothing like my first art post and tucked it away. But I showed it to a friend and he loved it. Can't stop it from running (or sleeping) out in the open now! Thankyou Puzzle! : D

Got to playing around with brushes, doodled a cute Yugi and had fun from there, basically kinda Paper-Mario style with a desert/Yugi room dreamscape.

And if you were needing a sign to take some time, this is it, go rest!

It’s okay.  You’re not broken, you’re resting, and much like spring, creativity comes back.

In Art Therapy we call this incubating.

You’re incubating ideas. Like an egg. There’s stuff growing inside. Your ideas are collecting and culminating and melding, merging into something.

Don’t crack it open before it’s ready. Wait until you hear it tap tap tapping with its egg tooth. Then slowly help it from its shell bit by bit.

Be kind. Be gentle. We are all growing things tender and soft but capable of great power if given the time to grow and change.

Welcome to PuzzleJune 2024: A Love Forever in Bloom!!

As usual, this month is all about creative freedom that celebrates the special and unique relationship between Yugi Muuto and Pharaoh Atem. Whether you want to share a story of them in the context of canon, or put them in an alternate universe where happy endings abound, we want to see your work! We love to celebrate his special love with poetry, fanfiction, art, or whatever you want to express your admiration of their relationship.

We want everyone who wants to participate to express themselves freely. Doing a prompt every day is not required. You can do one prompt a week, one prompt for the whole month, or maybe pick and choose which prompts you want to use for your creative works. Maybe you want to use multiple prompts for one work. No matter how you go about it, we want to see it, whatever it is! However you want to celebrate is great! This month is all about coming together to celebrate our favorite puzzleboys.

I wanted to give this to you to lift your spirits a bit. Maybe things are okay at the minute but I noticed more than once you seemed to be down as of recent. I don’t know all the details but I know how reoccurring thoughts and struggles are. I started on this the one night a little while ago when you had seemed really sad. Sorry I'm not very fast, it takes me a little while since I don’t have an established digital art style so I fell back on what I know (which is basically color pencil)

But I hope if you run into more rain clouds, this would help give a comforting reminder knowing that people around you care about you, Always ♡
