This was a good day. I miss you.
I had a dream that I was eating sun rays in the middle of the night, like syrup off the hands.
Is this fucking real? We’re really speedrunning McCarthyism and WW2.0? Everyone’s just okay with that?

This weirdo again
I turned 27 this year and every year it gets stranger that I’m getting older and you never will. That I got married and I’m graduating college in spring, and you weren’t and won’t be there.
One blessing, one light that will never go out, is how I can look back on these silly videos of you being your goofy self and you’re still here. And I won’t have to forget the sound of your voice or your face or your laugh. I think of you every day, sweet girl. Time doesn’t stop, but I’ll keep finding ways to hold on.
no YOU live in a society i live in this frame of pride and prejudice
can you please promise you will try having reading comprehension skills? for me 🥺
“I was there for you. Remember that.”
— Unknown
God I fucking miss you, kid.
Sometimes I wish I never went to your wake so I could remember all those times you were there. I wish my last memory wasn’t of your hands. Cold and still. I closed my eyes and could see them waving around with a cigarette while you told me a wild story or changed the music to a new song you’d just found.
I read this poem last week—might’ve cried a little bit—but I know you’d like it, wherever it finds you:
I bequeath myself to the dirt to grow from the grass I love,
If you want me again look for me under your boot-soles.
You will hardly know who I am or what I mean,
But I shall be good health to you nevertheless,
And filter and fibre your blood.
Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged,
Missing me one place search another,
I stop somewhere waiting for you.
- Walt Whitman, Song of Myself 52
I’ll see you in the dragonflies, bean.
Your name came up today. I hope you’re happy.
Convergence
And the silence that stretches between us isn’t the snap of a tether, but rather a reach and a shelving. I wonder if you see me in the rainbows and smoke like I see you in the moonlight and sunset.
Release
Look into the past, you’ll find nothing but pain.
The future is sunsets and laughter.
Knowledge and love and pathways.
Choices, not complacency.
ADHD brain be like:
Nothing but respect for people who can see the flaws in their actions, faults of self and humbly own their wrongs. We aren’t perfect, being firm in your roots never leads to growth
