Mt. Maculot Day Hike

What a great way to start the year!

Mt. Maculot is definitely worth every sweat and pain. The view is very promising as the mountain stands beside the famous Taal Lake. You really caught my heart. But ofc, it wouldn't be that fun without my friends who joined me and conquered the mountain as well. Thank you friends! Didn't felt that tired bec we're constantly laughing until we reached the end of our hike.

It's really refreshing to go out and spend the day exploring the nature. Thank you Lord for this wonderful gift 🙏 so, we humans must bare in mind how important it is to treasure His creations. Let's appreciate, respect and protect our environment, our Mother Earth 🌍💪💂

Queen of Hearts Foundation Inc. with the PNP SAF Commando Troopers

A day before Christmas, I together w/ the other queens of Ms. Queen of Hearts visited the training grounds of the Special Action Force 'Commando' of Philippine National Police at San Vicente Magalang Pampanga. We prepared a boodle fight and gift packs for the troop (thank you to all the generous sponsors). We performed a song number to entertain them but likewise we were also amazed by the performances that they prepared for us: Squad Drill, Pop dance, cultural dance, Small Unit Tactics presentation, song numbers and comedy skit (my favorite was the one who impersonated Mike Enriquez). These men are trained to be assigned anywhere in the country to conduct Police Counter-Terrorism to secure peace in our nation. I was moved by how dedicated they were and how hard it must have been to undergo this kind of training.

When I asked them what's their wish this Christmas, one answered me "Kahit makahawak lang po ng cellphone para makatawag sa pamilya namin. Kahit 5 minutes lang". Such a simple wish but is heartfelt and touching. According to their instructors it was the first time that they have received gifts and a foundation chose to visit them since usually they are the ones who assist in gift givings and rescue missions.

Thank you Queen of Hearts Foundation for this experience. More missions to come for us ❤️ More strength and courage for our troops 🙏
