Finally, A Date. || Mushu and Thumper

Mushus face instantly brightened at feeling the others arm wrap around him. Mushu instinctively did the same as he held the other before walking in slowly. “It took me a few hours to get the decorations right…” He mumbled to himself with a small smile before looking back to the other, now feeling self -conscious because of just how cute the other looked.” Goddamn….you are so cute…”

Thumper smiled and kissed his cheek sweetly, hugging his friend tight. "You didn't have to spend that much time on me." He blushed, looking up at Mushu. "Mushie you're silly and I am not cute." He mused, grabbing his coat and house keys. "Now c'mon. We've got a date to do." He grinned, putting the cake in the fridge and winked, making his way out of the house and to Mushu's car that was in the driveway as he climbed in the passenger's side.

Sully nuzzled into Thumps necking held him close. "I know Boo." He paused and kissed the others neck. "I just don't want you to leave like the others. I don't think my heart could take it." He felt smaller then the body he was holding. "I love you so much." He whispered and curled into Thumper. At that moment Lucas fussed by making a grunting like sound from the back of his throat. Jumping, Sully looked fondly down at his son. His fist waved in the air as if to tell him off. 'Give me more room!' Is what Sully imagined him saying if he could speak. Loosening his grip around a Thumper he gently feathered his fingers over the angry fist until it unfurled and rewrapped around his fingers. Chuckling he laid his head on top of Thumpers and hummed.

Thumper smiled as his neck was nuzzled, his free hand running through Sully's hair gently. He blushed as his neck was kissed and smiled softly. "Kitty I wouldn't dare leave you." He murmured, his fingers rubbing his back gently. "I love you so much as well." He smiled, his thumbs rubbing against Sully's skin. Thumper grinned as he heard Lucas' whine, kissing his sons head and moved to give him room. "Luca you have to give daddies their special time." He cooed, pressing another sweet kiss to Sully's nose as he watched his husband hold their child's hand and smiled happily. "Kitty you're so good with Luca.." He murmured, his arm wrapping around Sully as the older arm held Lucas.

Sully blinked as Luca was taken from him and replaced with food. Mumbling his thanks, he pushed around his chicken and rice. Thump’s food was always amazing but he was more worried about his son in his husbands arms. Turning the ring on his finger he looked up at the endearing nickname that other male had given him. “What if he hurts himself? What if I hurt him? What if he just walks out the door and…” Sully trailed of and started to shake a little. Reaching out, he hugged Thumper and squeezed maybe a little too tight. He hated being in constant fear of losing him and their baby. Sometimes he wish he could just stop time or wrap them in bubble wrap to keep them safe.

Thumper smiled as he brought the bottle to Luca's lips and allowed him to drink the warm milk. He hummed softly, watching their little boy drink happily. He looked up as his husband spoke, a small frown on his lips. "Sully, sweetheart. He's not going to leave us and you're not going to hurt him." He said, reaching over to squeeze Sully's hand in an effort to calm him, hugging him back tightly. "Lucas loves you, just as I do. And I married you because of it." He nodded, resting his head on Sully's arm. "You're perfect with him, Kitty. You know what to do."

Finally, A Date. || Mushu and Thumper

It had taken Mushu months to ask out the little blonde. The pair had just been through so much and he had no way to express how he felt about the other. Thousands of thoughts flooded his head as he made the short journey to the other's house, his famous carrot cake in hand. With one final bone wrenching thought running through his head, the dark haired male hesitantly knocked on the door. When it finally opened, Mushu flashed his dimply smile and held up the cake. “I brought cake?”

Thumper attempted to clean his house as it was almost time for his date with Mushu. He'd been through so much with the older to have something bad happen..again. There was a pile of clothes on the ground, clean. That wasn't too surprising as he'd spent an hour or so picking out something to wear. He folded each item before straightening his bowtie and hummed. He heard a quiet knock and made his way to the door, opening it happily. "Mushie!" He mused, his small arm finding its way around Mushu's torso. "Oooh carrot cake, my favourite!" He grinned. "C'mon in!"

"Oh, I’m wounded." Copper chuckled, grasping his chest, and grinning down towards the blond as he stood. "I’m glad you changed your mind." He added before shrugging the books under his arm before replying, "I’ve been busy, setting up for finals, and plenty of sport events. What about you?"

Thumper grinned back up at him, shrugging his shoulders playfully. "For your sake, I suppose I had to. I know how emotional you are." He giggled and picked up his books and notebook with a grin. "Stupid research paper for English class." He sighed, shaking his head. He loved English, the class was simple and he loved it. But he just...he couldn't write papers. He couldn't. It wasn't in his ability to do it. "I think I'm pretty solid on it though."

Lucien shook his head in amusement as he picked a piece of pizza up "Fuzzy wuzzy?" He laughed before taking a bite and setting it back down. He almost spit his drink out when Thumper said he wanted to try knew things, but he refrained when he went into better detail. He sighed and set his glass down "I mean… if you really want to?" He smiled warmly over at him as he admitted to only wanting to do with him "I wouldn’t let you do it with anyone else anyway. Wouldn’t trust them with you." He reached out to pinch Thumper’s side gently "Why the change of heart?"

"Fuzzy wuzzy." He nodded with a small grin, taking a bite of his pizza and nosed Lucien's side. He waited for Lucien's reaction, licking his lips in anticipation before he saw Lucien's warm smile and knew it'd all be okay. He giggled and nodded slowly. "I really want to." He grinned, his fingers combing through Lucien's hair as he looked at him. "Oh my guardian angel." He cooed, looking up at his friend. A small squeak fell from his plump lips as his side was pinched and he pouted over at the older. "Because I don't wanna be boring, Lucy. I wanna be...extraordinary."

Lucien sighed softly as his back was rubbed, a tiny melancholy smile on his lips as he heard the familiar lullaby coming from Thumper. He nodded slowly as he cooperated "Okay.. but be careful." He breathed as he tightened his grip on Thumper so he couldn’t get up just yet "Just take my keys, and let yourself in. I am so serious, don’t speak to them because I don’t want them to know you’re helping me out." He knew if the Tremaine’s knew Thumper was helping him in any way that they would find a way to ruin his life or at least make it difficult. 

He finally relinquished his hold on him and followed him with his eyes as he stood "I’m not going to sleep until you get back." He stated firmly, reaching out to squeeze the blonde’s hand gently "I love you, Thump." He whispered as he let his hand slip from his and watched him walk out of the door. He wasn’t going to sleep until he knew Thumper had returned and was in bed with him, but he did make his way to the bedroom. He crawled into the bed, curling up in the blanket and clutched his phone to his chest as he counted the minutes.

Thumper drove quickly to the Tremaine's household and sighed softly as he came up to the large estate. "I'm here." He texted Lucien quickly before looking around the house. It didn't look like anyone was home, but you couldn't really trust whether they were home or not as they had at least five cars. He parked outside the gates and snuck inside easily, as he'd probably done it about a thousand times before. He made his way up to Lucien's bedroom with ease, opening his suitcases and piled Lucien's whole wardrobe into one before opening the other and putting their friendship memory box inside, Lucien's weed and alcohol and phone along with other things he knew the male needed. He looked around the now practically empty room and sighed happily, picking up the suitcases and brought them out to his car, locking the house door. He made it to his car before he put the stuff in and drove quickly to the next couple of blocks down and smiled. "I'm out. Safe and sound. :)" He texted before going back to his house. 

He pulled into his driveway, a small sigh escaping his lips. The Tremaine's would know Lucien was staying at Thumper's, but he didn't care. He knew Lucien was safe right now. As of this moment. And he'd be sure to tell his parents to not them in. He managed to bring the suitcases in, setting them in his room before he locked the front door and set the alarm incase anyone came in, changing into his pajamas quickly and crawled in bed with Lucien, curling into his side. "Hi.." He said quietly, pressing a soft kiss to Lucien's head.

Lu bit down on his bottom lip, dropping his gaze as Thumper wiped his tears away. God damn it, he had swore to himself he wouldn’t cry. He looked pitiful and he knew it, like a kicked damn cat. The simple touches were soothing though and he was placated by the thumps on his cheeks. He offered a tiny, sad smile and nodded "I know that.." He sighed, eyes fluttering shut briefly as he kissed his nose. He shook his head and let his eyes open back up "No, I didn’t think you’d be insisting on me staying." He brushed his hand over the back of Thumper’s neck as he leaned in to nose his shoulder, playing with the hair there. "I don’t even know if I can take anything yet."

Thumper smiled gently and rubbed Lucien's back soothingly, humming a small lullaby to his friend. "Okay well. I want you to get some rest, okay? I'll see if I can slide over and get some of your clothes and things. But I know you've got jammies here and a toothbrush but you'll need more. The Tremaine's know me." He nodded and smiled. "They'll let me in, Luc." He pressed a kiss to his friends head before giving a small squeeze to his shoulders. "Drink up your tea and try to sleep, 'kay?" He asked, beginning to stand up. "I'll be back in like...fifteen minutes. I'm driving but I'll have my phone on me also." He nodded, pressing a kiss to Lucien's cheek. "I love you, Lucien. I'll be back soon." He put his shoes on and grabbed his keys before Lucien could object and left.

Lucien listened as Thumper knew exactly what to say to him, but that was no surprise. Since the two were children Thumper had always been there, always telling him exactly what he needed to go on. He had been the only reason he woke up each day for a very, very long time. There were obvious tears in his eyes as he looked up Thumper, biting down on his bottom lip hard as he fought them back. "I love you." He blurted out, but he didn’t move away and he didn’t avert his gaze. Sure, it didn’t come out the way he had wanted it to exactly… but he still meant it. He meant it more than he had ever meant anything in his entire life. He swallowed hard and slipped his hand up Thumper’s side "I really love you, Thumper.. I love you like I’ve never loved anything or anyone before."

Thumper could rememeber the times before when he'd helped Lucien..and it wasn't that he was lying. Because he wasn't. He wasn't even a good liar and his tell was a dead giveaway. Each time he's ever lied, his leg would bounce ridiculously fast and yeah-- it was just plain obvious. He'd just always been extremely well at telling what he believed was the truth. And the only things he could say about Lucien was that he was beautiful and good. Deep down, he was good. He gave Lucien a soft smile as he cupped the older's cheeks and wiped his tears away using his thumbs. "I love you too, Lucien." He smiled, his thumbs continuously rubbing his cheeks to calm him. Though he already knew that Lucien loved him, but it was always nice to hear it. A small shiver fell down his spine and butterflies rose in his stomach as he felt Lucien's hand on his side. "I really love you too, Lucien. More than anyone else." He smiled, pressing a kiss to his nose. "Now, sweet, did you bring clothes?" He asked, raising his brows gently as nosed his shoulder.

"Oh! I like all those things! You're my guest. So you pick what you'd like to do." Olaf grinned, leading the other into the living room where he had a pillow fort partially built against the couch and the bowl of popcorn on the table.

Thumper nodded, picking up a piece of popcorn and ate it with a happy hum. "Um well..we could finish building the fort?" He offered, looking up at him. He moved over to the fort and began to finish building it, humming softly as he fixed the pillows so it'd be stable and wouldn't fall apart with a grin. "You really gotta have a stable area so none of it falls, you know?"

A small smile grew on the freckled boy’s lips as he sat on the floor, his head tilted as he stared at the blonde. Yes, he had seen that face before, at least once. And a glance down to the book he read, was enough to know where. They shared class. Just that Andrew never talked to him. He was very talkative, his feisty and cheerful attitude earning him a reputation at school. Andrew knew every face and voice from the classroom. But this guy, though. He recognized the face, but the voice was new for him. He had seen him around with Lucien, only. “Yes, I think we do share class. But, we’ve never talked before, right? I’m Andrew,” He grinned widely, offering him a hand. "Came for the biology homework?"

Thumper watched the male sit down, his brows raising as he picked up his mess of books. They were in the way as is, no need for his classmate to think he couldn't pick things up. He shook his head gently at the question. "N-No we haven't talked before." He shook his hand, offering a small smile. "Thumper." He nodded gently, picking up his book. "Yeah biology. I-I'm doing my report on rabbits.." He said, looking up at Andrew. "What's yours on?" He asked, writing down another fact about rabbits down on his paper.

"Cheese!" Olaf giggled, shutting the door and pulling the other further into the house. "So, what first? Movies? Or...I don't know! I've never had a sleepover before!"

Thumper smiled widely and nodded. "Oooh cheese! I love cheese." He giggled, following him into the house and smiled. "Um..well there's cuddling and watching a movie..or um..playing video games?" He suggested, tapping his foot against the wood flooring.  "What do you like to do, Ollie?" He asked, looking up at the older male.

Fuck you, don’t say those words to me. You don’t even know what they do to me. He licked his lips, keeping his mouth shut but easily leaning into Thumper as he wrapped him in his arms. He let his arms slip around his lithe frame and pressing his face into his shoulder. He listened to what he said, but he shook his head "Thumper, no… If there is anything I am not it is any sort of sunshine. I’m like a gray cloud, that’s more like it.." Lu sat up, pulling out of Thumper’s embrace "You don’t have to let me stay here, Thump… I don’t want to get in your way or intrude or whatever…" He mumbled lamely as he dropped his gaze.

Thumper sighed quietly as he listened to Lucien's rejections towards his statements and shook his head. "Lucien, you're my sunshine. You're my gray cloud. I like gray clouds, actually better. You know why?" He asked, looking up at him. "Because they bring rain. And I love rain. Then a beautiful rainbow comes after. And you're that too." He nodded. "There's a difference between wanting you to stay here and feeling like I'm being forced into it. I want you here with me. I want you safe with me, Lucien." He murmured, lifting Lucien's chin with his index finger. "You're not going to intrude. You're here almost everyday as is and you spend the night a lot. What's the difference?" He raised his brows and shrugged. "There isn't really one."

I love you. I love you, you stupid idiot. "You’re an idiot then.." He sighed softly, leaving off the part he really wanted to say. He couldn’t help leaning in when Thumper carded his hand through his hair. So much was going on in his mind, thinking back on being a ten year old boy with a grown man crawling into bed with him and telling him that all daddies did this with their sons. Telling him that if he hadn’t been abandoned and adopted into a family without a father that he would know better. Lucien swallowed hard and snapped out of it when he felt Thumper kissing his forehead. He bit down on his bottom lip, shaking his head in disbelief at how good Thumper was. He dropped his gaze and sighed "Tremaine’s kicked me out." That was all he could manage, it was all he thought he should tell Thumper at this point.

Thumper smiled, shrugging gently. "If being an idiot means that I love you, then I am an overly large idiot." He grinned, his arms wrapping Lucien in a small hug. He moved his free hand to cup Lucien's cheek again, noticing how he seemed to zoom out. And sometimes-- times like this? He wished he had mind reading powers so he could know what was happening. But maybe it was also best he didn't. Everyone needed their privacy. He pressed a light kiss to his head, giving his side a small squeeze. He listened to Lucien speak, nodding understandably. "I didn't think they were good enough for you anyway. They didn't deserve you, Lucy. You were like..the blob of sunshine in their bleak world and they were boring idiots." He murmured, his hand carding through Lucien's hair. "You're staying with me now. And if you're good, I'll even score some booze for you. On occasion." He nodded, adding a small wink as he smiled gently.

Thank God, saved by the bell. He had been leaning down, eyes focused intently on the other’s slightly parted pink lips. He literally jumped as the doorbell rang, leaning away quickly and averting his gaze as his cheeks tinged a light pink. He looked over at Thumper as he called out another stupid nickname in a sing-song fashion "Yeah?" He offered a smile and was going to get up to serve himself, but of course.. Thumper beat him to it. He sighed and took the plate. "Thanks, Thump." He breathed as he looked down at the pizza "What mood was that?" 

He said quietly as he let Thumper curl against him once more. He tried to focus on the television though and eating his pizza, not the warmth of the younger male or how badly he just wanted to take him right there. He cleared his throat, setting the pizza down in his laps in hopes to hide any possible rise in his jeans.

Thumper shrugged gently at the question as he took a bite of his pizza. "I dunno..but I liked it. It was a fuzzy wuzzy feeling." He giggled softly, more of to himself but you get the idea that he's not very good at jokes. He hummed happily as he felt the warm pizza slide down his throat and grinned. "So..I've been thinking I wanna try things." He began, looking up at Lucien and blinked. "Like I um..I kinda wanna try drinking you know?" He asked, raising his brows a bit. "A-And I only wanna do it with you b-because I only really trust you." He admitted quietly, his gaze shifting to look at his food shyly.

[text] No. Just at my house it’s out. My television is tempermental. ^.^”

As he got the last text Olaf giggled, bouncing to the door and over the sofa to open it. “Hi!” he grinned, pushing his hair back and ushering Thumper inside. “You have no idea how excited I am! i ordered pizza too!”

Thumper grinned as he heard the fumbling and giggles coming from the house and smiled when the door was opened. "Hi Ollie!" He waved eagerly, following him inside and hummed softly. "I'm excited too! Ooooh, what kind?" He asked, raising his brows as he set his bag down on the table and giggled. Pizza and cuddles and sleepovers were things that made Thumper happiest.

Lucien had been averting his gaze, but he met Thumper’s gaze as he closed the distance between them and touching his face. He let his eyes flutter shut at his touch, leaning into it and reaching up to cover the younger male’s hands with his own. "You should, I wish you did… it’d be so much easier." He practically whimpered as he dropped his hands from Thumper’s and opened his eyes "I missed you too, fuck…" He said rather insensitively as he let the other blonde lead him to the couch. Fucking tea, of course… always made him tea when he got sketched out. He rarely came to Thumper like this, and the only time he really had was when he was tweaking and since then he hadn’t done either - the drug, or bothered Thumper with his problems. He leaned back on the couch, grabbing a pillow and burying his face in it as he waited for Thumper. He couldn’t tell him, there was no way.. he couldn’t bother him like that.

Thumper shook his head, as his fingers ran over Lucien's fingers. "Wouldn't even dream of it, Lucien. Don't say that." He said, coming back over to the older with gingersnaps and a cup of tea. He set the cup on the table and sat next to him, his fingers running through his best friend's hair softly. He hated seeing Lucien like this, but he would always be there for him. He could promise that. And in fact, did promise it to Lucien when they were ten years old that he'd never leave him. He pressed a kiss to the older's head before rubbing his back. "Now, lovely. Tell me what's wrong?" He asked, raising his brows gently. "It'll be okay.." He murmured, rubbing his back gently.
