Of the 5 wrecks in 1996 that you did documentaries on(El Cajon pass,Secaucus,Silver Spring, Weyauwega and St Paul), how would you rank them from least to most severe?

5 wrecks I've covered all occured in 1996? Interesting. Well in order of severity.

Silver Spring

Cajon pass

Seacaucus

Weyauwega

St Paul

The list goes from most to least and is mainly based off of lives lost but also in Silver Spring's case, the fire that spread through the MARC consist and the fact the cab car was nearly sawed in half cannot be overlooked. Literal hell on earth and the poorly marked escape windows only made it worse. If the impact didn't get you, the fire sure did.

do you enjoy making the train wreck documentaries?

Did you grow up with Thomas? If so, what is your favorite episode?

Do I enjoy making the videos I'm famous for? Well yes and no. I do like diving into the history of some accidents espescially those not as well known and the friendly comments I get praising me for my works (even rarely sometimes from actual victims or family members of the victims) but at the same time those videos take a lot out of me and it's very easy to get burnt out after making enough of em. The images I have to search for sometimes for many of them namely ones involving passenger trains doesn't help either. Still as long as you guys keep watching them I'll still keep making them.

To answer your 2nd question that's a huge yes as not only is my 1st name the same as that tank engine in question (please still refer to me as Thunder or Thunderbolt however, I don't like when complete strangers call me by my actual name) but Thomas and Friends was a driving force for my interest in trains. As for favorite episodes? it's hard to choose 1 as I have several favorites but one I always turn back to every so often is the Diesel and Duck Trilogy namely "A Close Shave for Duck" for that insane runaway and crash sequence. The music, narration (doesn't matter if it's GC or RS), and visuals are stellar and go hand in hand for crafting such a good episode... Just wish more light was shown on how Diesel got found out but hey beggars cant be choosers.

What was the most gut wrenching documentary have you made?

I've been scarred by many of the wrecks I've had to research but none as more disturbing as the Ufa incident. The photos still haunt me.

Were there any wreck documentaries you were somewhat displeased about other than Clapham?

The original version of the Silverliner Fire was one (since taken down) it's mainly some of my older ones since they were made by a dumb teen who didn't know what the hell he was getting into. I understand some people still like a few of my older videos like the Amtrak 188 video, original version of Cajon 1989, etc. But I just can't stand some of em and many of those issues are my poor choice of music, incorrect info, or just flat out cringe execution. It also doesn't help that I was using an inferior editing software back then (Windows Live Movie Maker) Adobe Premiere by comparrison was much more flexible espesically in the audio department.

How many girlfriends have you had in the past?

So far only 2 have. I had one (who's name will be anonymous for her privacy) that was with me for roughly a year. Girl was friggin gorgeous, had separated parents like me, and even had Italian heritage in her family like I did. She snuffed me out after about a year for "not texting her often" when in reality she buggered off with some loser. She's now dating a friend I had in high school so whatevs. After that my depression which was already an issue before got even WORSE after that breakup... that is until an angel named Katie came into my life. She and I had met thanks to being my sister's friend and had invited her to my house for a movie night, I came down from my room since it was "secret life of pets" a favorite of mine and we started talking for a while. She later admitted her crush on me to my sister without me knowing and right around Valentines day we've been "coupled" (see what I did there?) together for over 5 years (going into 6 this year). So yeah had 2 in the past but only 1 will stay with me even after death.

Could you do a video on the rail lines in minnesota? I know you are very busy w/ ur great videos, but I would love to watch you do a video on it. For a specification, I live in New Prague MN. There is a Union Pacific railway that goes from about Carver down to Montgomery. Trains come in twice a day and they are all cargo. They recently closed down the grain mill in New Prague so traffic has decreased slightly. I love to watch the train go by, as I am a huge history fan. Take care!

I would love to explore rail lines beyond the North East. Unfortunately due to jobs and budget reasons that likely wont happen for a while but ever since hitting 100K subscribers I have savings being kept for a "tour" around other parts of the US including Minnesota.
