A brand new year, another year I show my appreaciation. It’s surprising for me that I’m here with my muse for a whole year and I can honestly tell you that she’s my first. There had been some ups and downs but it was definitely a stepping stone and a learning block for me. I would like to believe I have grown as a writer. Thomas bursts into a fit of laughter when he finally gets to see what she looks like, her arms going leaving her covered face to cross over her chest. He feigns a gasp, as if he’s so surprised to see her, teasing, ❝Damn, look at this pretty woman I’m with! You’re prettier than Yoona and Tiffany combined!❞ Shaking his head, he explains, ❝I’m telling you-- this was a total accident!❞

“Still one with your sweet talking Byunghun,” she mused over, smiling nevertheless as she poked his cheek in return to his nudge; appreciating his words nevertheless. “Of course I’ll cheer you on. I’m your personal cheerleader after all. Minus the cheerleader outfit though I’ll wear something better of course so I wouldn’t disappoint you.”

She caught a glimpse of him chuckling at her, causing her cheeks to heat up some more as she glanced away, her teeth chewing on the flesh of her lip gently. God, why did she have to get flustered easily? ❛ O-Oh, really? ❜ She stammered, her nose scrunching up afterwards at the sudden crack in her voice. This time, the deep crimson hue crept down to her neck and up to her ears, a sudden warmth enveloping her petite body as she grumbled quietly to herself once she looked down at her fingers. ❛ That sounds nice. What medium does he specialize in? ❜ She asked, clearing her throat every once in a while as she tilted her head slightly.

❛ Oh no, it’s fine! ❜ She suddenly spoke up, shaking her head fervently causing her dark locks to bounce around, a small grin forming on her lips. As she brushed her hair back, she grazed her tongue against her lower lip while waiting for him to speak, her teeth chewing on the inside of her cheek. ❛ You just surprised me, that’s all. I bet I looked really dumb, huh? When I stumbled back… ❜ She muttered, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear as she chuckled softly.

he looks away just in time before she glances back at him, her flustering obviously a sight. he didn’t mean anything with it though and he hopes she doesn’t take him wrongly. he doesn’t know what else to do to make her feel comfortable though because even when he’s already talking, he still feels her tensing up. the crack in her voice is evident too-- he ignores it, figuring she’d ease up a bit later; or at least he’s hoping she would. ❝he’s the museum curator. this place is one of my favorites.❞ 

he cannot falter the chuckle that slips out of his lips, lips quickly curling into a friendly smile, head shaking no. ❝no, you didn’t. i don’t think you do.❞ he supposes it’s partially his fault, since he did catch her a little off guard there. ❝that one was my fault, really. i guess i kind of approached you a little too-- straightforwardly.❞

he listens to her for a while and nods, hands clasping when she asks him what he does for a living. ah, he can’t help but think. looks like she doesn’t watch sports. it was always easy to tell, since plenty approached him frequently, praising him and the team, sometimes wishing him speedy recovery from his injury. ❝i’m actually a pro athlete. i play for the seoul samsung thunders. i’m thomas. park thomas.❞

The sunset was coming to its end, and the Moon would soon appear. His lips spoke of the past, wondering how hers had been. A simple question echoed in her ears and caused her eyes to focus on him and nothing else;only them she realized how handsome and charming he indeed was. The corners of her lips curled up, forming a charming smile. Her body leaned in, purposely getting closer to him. She knew what she had to do to look even better, and how to get one’s attention. She didn’t know, however, if he would ever end up falling for one of her charms, even for the slightest one. Either way―having him mesmerized by her or not―she still could have some fun. eyes seek the horizon before them as he settles back against the beach chair, slipping out of his slippers as he glides next to her. perhaps its the weather, the dusk enveloping them into a sunlight beam, or maybe the plain atmosphere the two have stumbled upon. he finds himself laughing at the words that roll out of her mouth as he tugs against his shirt, the back wet from his dampened skin. and while it’s true that she’s years younger than he is, it definitely didn’t seem like it. 

his fingers tap against his lithe wrist, lips pursing into a straight line as he glances to look at her. his eyes doesn’t leave hers despite them being clothed in branded shades and it isn’t as if he can’t feel her looking at him too. ❝oh?❞ he asks humorously when he hears the last words that come out, lips twitching into a small smile of playfulness, hinting a banter full of teasing. ❝for someone so young, you sure do know exactly what to say-- should i just ask you out for dinner here on the spot then? you can’t say no since you promised me a yes.❞
