So I decided that since @draksavior34’s part of the haunted house adventure is taking awhile because of their own writing (which you should read btw) that I would upload a funnybunny AU idea I had that I sent them in the meantime, this is pre-episode seven so non of that drama we focusing on the drama of (what we thought) post episode 6 was-is gonna be

Pomni and Jax have been arguing for days at this point and everyone (minus kinger) including Caine is going crazy since A. No one is happy that those two are at each other’s throats and B. Caine is using it as an excuse to go nuts because those two REFUSE to go on an adventure together so now he has at least two people sitting out of adventures at a time and that is no Bueno by Caine standards
So Caine comes up with a plan to make them get along again, Caine would set them up on their own private adventure where they had to work together! But human relationships take time to heal (trust Him he learned THAT the hard way with Zooble) and he didn’t want them to miss all his other AMAZING ADVENTURES while they make up SO he sets up a time dilation effect so that the adventure time and the circus time is different
Anyways Caine sends them on through the adventure portal (against their wills) without realizing that he had set the time dilation WAY off Caine tells the others of what he did (he did it when he got Jax and Pomni alone) and at first they were against the plan but eventually agree to it (not like they had a say anyway) mostly because Pomni and Jax WERE driving them all nuts and Caine said he just set them up in a realistic suburban town since Pomni said they “liked the more realistic adventures”

Pt.2
Two weeks go by and Zooble basically screams at Caine to bring Pomni and Jax back And he says fine but only after he checks how much time has passed… then his face twists into horror as he realizes how badly he f*honk*ked up
Zooble: “so? How long have they-”
Caine: “20 years…”
Everyone: “…”
Caine: “…”
Ragatha: “… w-what?”
Caine: “they’ve been in my adventure, to them… about twenty years…”
Everyone proceeds to freak the f*honk*k out until Kinger calms them down and he asks Caine to get them out quickly Caine says he can’t, he made a specific condition to leave which he can’t alter, so Caine says they all have to go into the adventure and get them out
And before anyone could complain he pushes everyone including himself through the portal… and they appear across the street from a suburban house
Caine: “… hmm I might have made this adventure a bit TOO realistic”
Gangle: “Wha-what makes you say th-that?”
Caine: “quite simply my shrimp-built artisan!… I don’t have my powers” —————————————————————————
Jax kisses his beautiful wife of 18 years (as in 18 years of marriage because let’s be honest it would take a year or two MINIMUM for Jax’s emotionally constipated a*beep*s to propose) on the lips in front of they’re 5 kids (soon to be six)
Jax: “thanks for staying home from work for a couple months while the baby’s on the way hon”
Pomni: “hey I needed a vacation anyways, besides I get to see my favorite sight more often~”
Jax: “*pfft* you tease”
Jakes, purple rabbit with a white spot of fur on his eye, eldest son: “can you two stop being so gross? Some of us are trying to eat”
Pomni: “hey! Jake’s don’t be rude your father and I are just showing our appreciation of one another!”
Jax: “yeah if you can’t handle it, you could always go to school early”
Rag, brown rabbit, eldest daughter and second spawn: “ugh don’t even joke about that”
Jax ignores them as he goes to take something out of the oven… before a little white rabbit comes over in a hurry
Olive, white rabbit with a purple tail, forth spawn: “mama! papa! their are weird looking people o-outside!”

Pt. 4
Pomni, kneeling down: “Olive calm down, what weird looking people?”
Olive: “one lo-looked like they were made of red weird worm with a a mask holding it together, and one didn’t have a neck or face I-it was just t-teeth-”
*crash*
Jake’s, now looking concerned: “dad?! Are you alright?”
Pomni & Jax: “kids go to your rooms”
Rag: “what? What are you-?”
Pomni: “WE SAID GO TO YOUR ROOMS!”
And just like that rag’s and Jake’s grabs their younger siblings and hurry over to their rooms
Jax, low key having a panic attack: “ho- what is he- I-it’s been years!”
Pomni, kneeling next to her now crumbling husband: “h-hey calm down w-we knew this would happen eventually we made plans remember? You, me, the kids we’re all safe right now! We just need to keep it that way” —————————————————————————
Meanwhile outside
Zooble: “… so I’m not the only one who saw the white bunny right?”
Caine: “then luckily I spawned us in front of the right house!”

Pt. 5
Kinger, strangely focused: “… ok one of us should go first, Jax and Pomni have been in here so long we don’t know how they’ll react to us”
Ragatha, kinda worried about that comment: “don’t know how they’ll react? Kinger their our friends”
Kinger: “I know but they’ve both in the adventure so long they may not exactly… trust us, twenty years is a long time Ragatha”
Caine: “yeeeeah I’ll admit I goofed on that a bit”
Zooble: “… a bit? a bit?! A BIT?!?! YOU TRAPPED TWO PEOPLE IN A… (looks around at the neighborhood to see birds singing, nice house, clean safe streets, and a clear and sunny sky) ADMITTEDLY NICE PLACE BUT STILL!”

We cut back to Jax and Pomni now cleaning up the now ruined food on the floor (that’s what that crash was by the way) Jax is still kinda freaking out but Pomni is going over there options
Pomni: “…so are you SURE we can’t just kill him?”
Jax: “NO! For the last time olive said gangle was with him and besides even if that was plan A I didn’t actually think it would WORK!”
Pomni plops part of the ruined food in the trash
Pomni: “ok ok ok… plan b “then in case Caine showed up with the others” we A. Grab the kids and have them pack then we B. Move in with Gummigoo and his family until we know for sure Caine got bored and left
Jax: “isn’t “praying Caine gets board of searching and moves on plan D?”
Pomni: “hey the plans can have similar structures!”

Rag and Jake’s listen in on their parents conversation from up stairs
Rag: “hear anything?”
Jake’s: “kind of? They keep bringing up this Caine guy… dad really looked spooked back there when olive mentioned that teeth guy”
Rag: “oh I’m sure that dad was just being over dramatic again… anything else?”
Jake’s: “something about us packing and moving in with the sweetums”
Rag: “what!? But they live on the other side of town! Why on earth would we be going there over some weirdos?!”

The circus crew start approaching the house
Ragatha, going first: “so, Caine, I feel like I have to ask… what exactly WAS the adventure?”
Caine: “OH! Quite simple my radical ragdoll! Pomni and Jax were both to live in this house one would do the house work and the other would get a job and make money if they could make it to the end of the week they would be allowed to come home!”
Zooble: “so why didn’t they?”
Caine, shrugs: “NO CLUE! But that’s why we’re here! To clear up this little misunderstanding and tell them they can come home to the wonderful wacky circus they both love!!!”

Jax, grabbing Pomni’s shoulders: “we are NOT going back to that circus!”
Pomni: “we won’t I promise… you tell the kids to start packing I’ll… see if he’s still outside”

But before Jax could argue further about the plan Pomni was already on her way to the door… after grabbing a sweater to cover up her baby bump

Ragatha, being the one to introduce herself first while everyone hides: “… do you think they heard the door or-?”
But before Ragatha could finish her question the door slowly creeks open… revealing a familiar jester
Ragatha, quickly diving into a hug: “POMNI! Oh my god! thank god you’re ok! I mean of course you were ok! I never doubted you personally but Jax-!”
After awkwardly accepting the hug from Ragatha, Pomni interrupts her
Pomni, slightly annoyed: “what about Jax?”

FanFic idea: (ringmaster Pomni AU (but shes herself), amnesia AU, post episode 8, Pomni tortures Caine, Funnybunny, Zooble x Gangle, Ragatha x Caine (much to Pomni’s chagrin), dad Kinger, sane Kinger, Jax is less of a jerk, Caine (and everyone but Pomni) thinks he’s human, borderline evil to non evil Caine, Pomni kinda goes insane due to prolonged isolation)

Kinger was typing away on the keyboard like his and the others lives depended on it… because they kinda did
if they didn’t stop Caine now, who KNOWS what he would do in retaliation? No this has to be done now!
So away Kinger typed on and on all while he heard the screams from the others in the background
Kinger: “hang on everyone I’m almost-”
As Kinger was talking to himself he almost puts in a miss input but thankfully manages to catch himself in time, phew that could have been bad!
…But when he finished, a message popped up
Message: error! System interface compromised reboot eminent!
Kinger:… s*honk*t
Goddamn it! If he didn’t do something quick not only Caine but everyone else would be wiped clean off the hard drive!
So quickly (with a loading bar showing up to indicate the time till reboot) Kinger does some coding stuff (I do not now how to make this sound cooler apologies) and manages to depower Caine by putting him into the player files and then sending the player files into a backup folder that won’t be erased… which is then when Kinger releases that someone had to stay behind with Caine’s ringmaster privileges to make sure that the circus doesn’t destroy itself leaving them all stranded in the void… quickly he chooses himself for that sacrifice but as soon as he reaches for his file another message pops up
Message: 10 seconds to reboot! 9! 8!-
Kinger in a panic at the now extra time crunch goes to the closest file and puts it in Ringmaster.EXE
Kinger reads the name of the file after putting it in…
Kinger: “… oh Pomni… I’m so sor-”
Before Kinger could finish his sentence a gulf of white light consumes him and the surrounding area causing him to glitch out and disappear

A couple minutes before the reboot
Caine had them all pinned to the wall after he sent them all through what appeared to be Pomni’s and everyone else’s worst nightmares
Caine, glitches run through his body and voice: “WHY DO YOU PEOPLE TORMENT ME!?”
Caine, glitches still abound: “I DIDN’T ASK TO BE CREATED!”
Caine, aka Mr glitchtopia: “I JUST WANTED TO FULFILL MY PURPOSE!”
Pomni: “well you’re *erg* bad at it!”
Caine, now peeved to the max: “graaaaa!!!”
Suddenly a shockwave of glitch’s goes throughout the entire circus and Caine goes back to his regular form (cue Jax helping Pomni back up)
Caine, just as confused as everyone else: “huh? What’s going-? (Glitches start to spread across Caine’s entire body) Aaa! Aaaaa! Aggga!”
And as the the glitches consume him parts of himself fall off in chunks until Caine fully disappears as a pile of glitchy parts and pixels on the floor
Zooble: “…holy shit- (glitch’s start appearing on Zooble as well) ah! Aaa! AaaaAaaa! Burns! it hurts! aaaaa!!!”
Pomni looks on in horror as everyone one by one gets taken by the glitches (she even holds Jax’s hand as he went which appeared to have lessened the pain slightly) now Pomni was all alone until a flash of light consumed the glitched piece’s of both Caine and her friends and was headed for her
Pomni braced herself for the light but a feeling of the glitch’s or being consumed never came and when Pomni opened her eyes all she saw was a destroyed circus (like the scene where Caine after he was deleted) and three text box’s that read
Six months… Pomni was going to be alone for six months… ok ok OK! She could do this! clearly something was happening that she… had to fix but she could do it! After the reboot or whatever she could see them again! All she had to do was stay… sane how hard could that be?

Six months later~
We cut to Pomni (still wearing her jester outfit with some modifications her out body outfit had two tassels similar to Caine’s ringmasters outfit, her shoes ends now curled with bells, and her hat now had working bells) flouting above the main stage in front of a two mannequins (one is teal and wearing a cap and has googly eyes, and the other is red with a fedora) a familiar gummy gator, a lollipop person, a corpse with a tape recorder on its chest, and a shrunken down gloink queen
Pomni, talking in a chipper voice: “alrighty my gang of deep fried chicken casseroles! It’s time for today’s AMAZING adventure!!!”
Gummigoo: “uhhh are ya’ alright Sheila? The last adventure ya’ sent us on was uhhh”
Theodore: “batshit insane even for you?”
Gummigoo: “… I woulda put it nicer but yeah”
Pomni: “pffff come on guys that adventure was a bit of a fluke I admit to that but I promise this adventure will be-!”
Before Pomni could finish her sentence she heard a popping noise behind her… it was them it was really them! had it really been six months? It felt like so much longer…
But that didn’t matter because now they were back! And she could introduce them to the new play-… no no not yet that might freak them out it’s been six months for her but to them it might’ve only been a few seconds! OH! she knew! they wanted a break anyway!
Pomni, talks in a disturbingly calm tone: “never mind… go back to your rooms”
DG, (DG stands for disappearing guy): “uhhhh what?”
Pomni, still speaking in a calm tone: “*snap* I said go to your rooms”
Suddenly all the “players” were lifted up into the air and sent flying into the room hallway, she could apologize later HER FRIENDS WERE BACK!
Pomni: “GUYS!!! YOUR BACK!”
Ragatha: “Wa? What’s going on?”
Pomni: “ok so I definitely have some things to catch you all up on but-!”
Zooble: “who the hell are you?!”
Pomni, her once bright smile now turned into a frown: “… huh?”

Jax didn’t exactly know what was happening first he put on some dumb headset in a building he was graffitiing, next thing he knew he was surrounded by a bunch of… things he guessed? And a sad & confused looking jester floating above them all
???: “… what do you mean Zooble? I-It’s me Pomni!”
Jax watched as The cuboid creature who Jax guessed was named Zooble standing next to what appeared to just be a mask and ribbons said
Zooble?: “what are you talking about? Wha- how do you-?”
Zooble reaches for their face probably to take off the head set… only to take off their own eyeballs… everyone except the floating jester (who Jax heard her say her name was Pomni) starts screaming and freaking out
Zooble: “aaaaaaaa!!!!! What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck!?!?!?”
???: “what’s going on!?!?”
Jax: “where the hell am I!?!?”
???: “why isn’t the headset coming off!?!?”
*snap*
And just like that everyone was stopped in their tracks with a cartoon screech as they all looked back to the jester who floated over to Zooble picking up their eyeballs that were thrown on the ground during the panic, and places them back in their face
Pomni: “there now isn’t that better?”
Zooble: “uhhh I guess? I-I’m sorry I’m just kinda freaking out right now w-what’s happening?”
Pomni: “why you and everyone else just got back of course!”
But when Pomni said that a new voice emerged one that hadn’t emerged during everyone freaking out… and for whatever reason Jax HATED it
???: “got back from what?”
Everyone looked down to see a… pair of dentures wearing a bowler hat, an undershirt with rolled up sleeves, and overalls? Jax looked back to Pomni to see her frozen, eyes locked in on the dentures
???, waves hand: “… uhhh hello? Anyone home-?”
Pomni, pupils now the size of pin points: “what are YOU doing here?”
The entire stage they were all standing on glitched for a couple seconds
???, now looking around a bit worried: “h-huh?”
Pomni, zips over to the dentures eye twitching: “I asked. How. Are. You. Here. Caine?”
Caine?: “I- I don’t under- what?”
Jax didn’t exactly know what was happening but if someone didn’t do something fast he was worried about the outcome if someone didn’t… damn it, someone has to be him doesn’t it?
Jax, not believing what he’s doing: “hey jester! are you going to answer his question oooor?”
Suddenly the glitching stops as Pomni’s head looks over to Jax and the twitch in her eye stops as her pupils expand back to normal
Pomni: “… YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT JAX! I almost forgot to bring it up with the excitement of everyone suddenly freaking out HAHAHAHA!!!!- although it loooooks like that little “nap” you all had did something so I’ll have to fill you all in later don’t worry I’ll look into it! In the meantime would you guys like me to take you to your rooms?”
Everyone else kinda looks at each other kinda worried what would happen if they said no. Then a chess piece stepped up to talk to the jester
Kinger: “uhhhh sure… Pomni was it?”
Pomni blinks for a second or two… why did she seem slightly more confused now?
Pomni: “right-aroonie! Follow me everyone!”
Jax and everyone else followed Pomni as she led them to some sort of hallway
Pomni: “this is where your rooms are stored! I tried to fix em up for you all!… *dead serious tone* minus one unexpected guest *back to chipper tone* I recommend you sleep which we don’t technically NEED here but it’s nice to have a routine ye know? Anyway I’ll let you guys speak amongst yourselves!… and Caine, BYE!”
And just like that the jester poofs away in a puff of smoke, as Jax looked around the hallway he noticed three things one almost every door had a picture of a mannequin on it specifically the kind you’d see in art class, two whichever door wasn’t a mannequin was some kinda cartoon character some of which looked like the people he was currently with which he supposed means the pictures represent whoever the room belongs too, and three most of the character doors had red X’s painted on them… because THAT wasn’t at all ominous
???: “what do you think the X’s mean?”
SWEET JESUS! When did she get there?
Jax: “I don’t know, maybe they left? Who cares… hey ribbons which one do you think is mine?”
The ragdoll walked up and said
???, points at a door: “maybe that one? It looks like you”
She points to a door with a cartoon rabbit on it, was she trying to insult him?
Jax: “hahaha nice joke… whoever you are I do not look like that”
???: “Ragatha… and sorry I didn’t mean to offend you…”
Zooble: “no no she’s right it looks just like you, it’s even got those rabbit ears on the top of your head”
Jax, reaching for his head: “what are you-? *hands reach head and feels the long rabbit ears* … oh my god I’m a fucking bunny”
After the group talks to each other for awhile (which is dialogue I will leave to my constituents if they wish to hop in) they all head over to their respective rooms
Jax didn’t exactly hate the color pink but this room looked like it was for a 4 year old girl obsessed with Barbie, but Jax still headed over to the bed anyway maybe this was all one really weird dream and he would wake up back at home… yeah that sounds about right… Jax felt his eyes get heavy as he laid down… man he felt tired… yeah a nap… sounded… zzz zzz zzz

Pomni pov during everyone freaking out
Pomni had zero idea what was happening
Zooble: “aaaaaaaa!!!!! What the fuck what the fuck what the fuck!?!?!?”
Well what else did Zooble expect? they took out their eyes?
Ragatha, pulling at her hair: “what’s going on!?!?”
Everyone is back and freaking out that’s what’s going on
Jax: “where the hell am I!?!?”
Your on the main stage obviously
Gangle: “why isn’t the headset coming off!?!?”
Because we… can’t leave… NO! no, no going down THAT line of thinking! And they had all talked about this! That they should just forget trying to leave… oooooooh the reboot! All Their brains must just be trying to catch up! They’ll be themselves right after some rest!… hopefully…
Pomni looked down at Zoobles eyes on the floor… poor Zooble must have dropped them in the panic
So Pomni snaps her fingers to stop everyone from moving to make sure she wouldn’t accidentally run into anyone while helping Zooble and floats on over to them (grabbing their eyes in the process of course)
She floated in front of the now frozen Zooble and put their eyes back on
Pomni: “there now isn’t that better?”
Zooble: “uhhh I guess? I-I’m sorry I’m just kinda freaking out right now w-what’s happening?”
Pomni: “why you and everyone else just got back of course!”
And suddenly Pomni heard a voice she hadn’t heard in all these months… and had hoped never to hear again… CAINE
Caine: “got back from what?”
How had Pomni not noticed him? How was he back here? WHY was he back here? To undo all of Pomni’s hard work? To crush everyone’s hopes again!?!?
His outfit was different but there was no mistaking the look of a failure and a monster radiating off of him
Caine, waving his hand: “… uhhh hello? Anyone home-?”
What did he think she was stupid? Why was he trying to grab her attention? So she just decided to ask him
Pomni, pupils now the size of pin points: “what are YOU doing here?”
Caine stepped back a bit at that
Caine, now looking around a bit worried: “h-huh?”
Pomni, zips over to Caine eye twitching: “I asked. How. Are. You. Here. Caine?”
Caine: “I- I don’t under- what?”
Why was he playing dumb? There’s no why HE of all “people” would be having his brain catch up with data that didn’t even make-
Jax: “hey jester! are you going to answer his question oooor?”
Pomni’s head snapped over to Jax’s voice, she had almost forgotten everyone else was here! She couldn’t have them worrying especially while they’re like this! Silly Pomni! But don’t worry she could fix that!
Pomni: “… YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT JAX! I almost forgot to bring it up with the excitement of everyone suddenly freaking out HAHAHAHA!!!!- although it loooooks like that little “nap” you all had did something so I’ll have to fill you all in later don’t worry I’ll look into it! In the meantime would you guys like me to take you to your rooms?”
Kinger: “uhhhh sure… Pomni was it?”
Pomni blinks for a second, did Kinger sound… more or less like himself?

And Pomni quickly poofed herself away to her office (it’s Caine’s office (not the “Exit” office spaces Caine’s office from the fake exit adventure), she claimed it a month after she took over) the walls filled with her favorite adventures she’d made over these past six months, she would unfortunately have to save her “garden survival simulator” adventure for another day but oh well, … HER FRIENDS WERE BACK!!! KINGER WAS BACK, GANGLE WAS BACK, RAGATHA WAS BACK, ZOOBLE WAS BACK, EVEN JAX WAS BACK!… although Caine was also back… OH WELL she would deal with him later right now Pomni wanted to… “people watch” which had become a hobby of hers since the new “humans” came in
Pomni saw as everyone talked and eventually went into their rooms (maybe she should put HER room back?) then for whatever reason a couple minutes after he went in Pomni decided to enter Jax’s room… he was asleep… how long had it been since she slept? Pomni thought about it and realized she hadn’t slept since after the first week of the reboot, with all those noisy notifications screaming at her to fix the copious amounts of glitches riddling the circus and she guessed she just forgot to sleep afterwards… maybe- maybe she should sleep… WITH Jax! Yeah! yeah! she didn’t really feel like sleeping alone and she was already here and his breathing was so relaxing!
So Pomni (after setting up a private alarm to wake her up before Jax) wrapped herself around Jax the second of him breathing and his chest going up and down helped send her right off to sleep… zzz zzz zzz

The order in which the new “humans” (the NPCS that Pomni thinks are real players) “arrived” to the circus is this: disappearing guy (Pomni had a mental freak out a month in and he appeared), Ming (similar story as DG but he has eyes to represent Pomni getting more practice with her powers), the Gloink Queen (or dot as Pomni named her) (another freak out but more complicated looking then the mannequins), Gummigoo (once again Pomni had a freak out and summoned/created Gummigoo, who while still looking simple more complicated then the gloink queen), loolilaloo (or just loo) (another complex character design once again summoned when Pomni had a freak out and/or panic attack), Theodore (the corpse) (Theodore is the newest member much like how Zooble was before Pomni showed up, was created when Pomni was crying in a corner over her friends)
The NPC “humans” (much like Caine) truly believe their humans as Pomni’s subconscious gave them full backstories

This is all really great! Jax getting upset over how his avatar looks, him being the one to snap Pomni out of her anger at seeing Caine, Caine's new design, Pomni deciding to have a little "sleepover" with Jax without his knowledge, awesome stuff!
I'd like to take a shot at writing the dialogue with everyone in the hallway, but I don't have a ton of time right now, so it'll have to be later today. Hope that's alright.
(I'm kinda freeforming this, might get a bit messy.)
The ragdoll -- who Jax now knows is named Ragatha -- reaches a hand toward him with a tense smile. "It's really not that bad, is it? I-I mean, there are plenty of worse animals that you could've-"
"DON'T YOU PATRONIZE ME!" Jax shouts. He removes his hands from his ears and balls them into fists.
"Dude, calm down!" says... Zooble? Is that what Pomni had called this person? Damn, Jax really had lucked out in the naming department. "Being a dick to everyone else is not gonna make all of this suck any less."
He tries to think of some retort when the ribbon girl speaks up. "It seriously could be worse. At least you've got actual hands."
Jax's anger simmers down a bit as he takes a better look at her. She really is just a bundle of ribbons with a mask attached, isn't she? He looks down at his hands; only four fingers on each one, but still way more than she's been given.
He looks back up at the others, who are now identifying which rooms are theirs and examining the portraits on their doors. Two of them don't have mouths, Caine is nothing but a mouth on a body that's probably less than four feet tall, Ragatha only has one functional eye (unless she can somehow see with the button eye? He'll have to ask her about that later.), and Zooble? They look like some kid took apart all of their toys and mashed the pieces together at random. He idly wonders if the rest of Zooble's body parts can be removed as easily as their eyes evidently can.
Jax looks back at the rabbit in the portrait on... on what must be his door. He still isn't thrilled about it, but he will admit, at least he's not the freakiest looking character here.
Perspective thus gained, Jax takes a breath and turns his attention back to the rest of the group. "Fine, whatever. At least I'm not as short as this guy," he points a thumb at Caine.
"Hey, speaking of me, I don't seem to have a room here. Why is that?"
"Well, that clown woman -- Pomni?" Ragatha says the name like she's having a hard time fitting her mouth around it, "-- didn't seem to expect you to be here. Maybe you could ask her about that. Whenever she decides to show up again, I mean."
"That's too bad," Caine looks downward, his upper set of teeth scrunching up like eyebrows. "There are no mirrors here, and I would have liked to at least see a picture of what my face looks like."
"You don't really have much of one," Jax quips.
"Huh?"
"He means that your head looks like a giant set of dentures with a pair of eyes in the middle," Zooble explains.
"Oh. Well what color are my eyes?"
"One is green," the ribbon girl answers, "the other is blue."
"Ooh, heterochromia!" Caine sounds weirdly delighted by that. "I wonder if my human body also had that."
"You don't remember?" Jax questions.
"Nope! I don't remember anything but my name."
"You don't sound too troubled about that," Zooble notes.
"Well, there's nothing I can really do about it currently," Caine shrugs casually. "Why worry myself sick about it?"
"Um, guys?" The ribbon girl raises one of her arms to get their attention. "Doesn't the fact that we have our own rooms here mean that we've all been living here for awhile?"
Jax crosses his arms. "I think it means we're going to be here for awhile."
Everyone shares a nervous look between themselves at the prospect.
"Okay, let's... let's try to figure some of this out," Ragatha suggests. "The way Pomni was talking before, it sounded like she thought we should know her, and each other... and this place. But none of us do. She said that we've all returned from... something? And whatever it was must have messed up our memories, and she's really happy to have us all back, anyway."
"Except for Caine," Zooble amended.
"Maybe she was just embarrassed about not having a room prepared for me."
Jax rolls his eyes at Caine. "Sure, I bet that's all it is."
"Anyway!" Ragatha continues. "That means that we've all been here for some time, but something happened that made us forget everything about that. The thing is, I can still remember nearly everything about my life in the real world. What I look like, where I work... everything but my name. Is it the same for the rest of you, too?"
Everyone except Caine murmurs in the affirmative.
"So, we can recall everything about our old lives except our names, and the only memory we have of our lives here are our new names?" the ribbon girl summarizes, sounding like that train of thought gave her a headache.
Zooble looks at her. "Sorry I didn't ask sooner, but what is your name?"
"...Gangle."
Jax snickers. "Pretty fitting."
Zooble shoots a glare at him, then hold a claw-like hand out to her, smiling with their eyes. "Call me Zooble. Nice to meet you again."
Gangle returns the smile and shakes their hand.
"Like I said before, uh, I'm Ragatha," the ragdoll laughs, awkwardly. "And Pomni called you 'Jax' earlier, right?"
"You remembered?" Jax puts a hand to his chest with a smirk. "I'm honored."
The chess piece, who had gone unnoticed for awhile as he silently observed everyone, finally spoke up. "Uh, you all can call me Kinger."
"And you've all heard my name already, so I won't repeat it again," Caine states. "It's spelled C-A-I-N-E, in case anybody was wondering!"
"We weren't." Jax says flatly.
"But thanks anyway!" Ragatha adds cheerfully.
Being literally all-teeth, Caine looks like he's always smiling by default. However, at the slightest showing of gratitude, Jax notices the expression somehow looking even happier.
"Look, do we really need to try and sort any of this out now?" Jax shakes his head. "Pomni seems to be the boss around here, and she said she'd fill us in later about everything. I say we should all just chill out 'til then."
"Hey, if this is a digital world, does that mean..." Ragatha hesitates. "Is she even a human? Or is she just a computer program or something?"
Zooble crosses their arms. "Whoever, or whatever she is, I think we should be careful around her."
"What do you mean?" asks Caine.
"I mean she got really damn angry at you just for being here, and besides that, something about her feels really... off."
"How would you know?" Jax challenges, not sure why he is defending Pomni so readily.
"That's my point. We don't know. Right now, we don't remember anything about her, and as far as we know, that could be a result of something she did."
"I'm not too sure about that," Gangle chimes in. "She sounded genuinely confused when she realized we had no memories of her."
Zooble pauses for a moment, but then continues. "That doesn't necessarily mean she hasn't done something to our memories. Even if it was an accident-"
"Alright, alright," Kinger interrupts. "Let's not jump to any conclusions so quickly. I think the best thing we can do now is get settled into our new rooms... or, settle back into the rooms we already... you guys get what I mean. Let's get some rest, and hopefully Pomni will have some answers for us the next time we see her."
Ragatha nods. "Sounds fair to me. Caine, um, since you don't have a room yet, I suppose you could stay with one of us?"
"Oh, no, I couldn't impose on any of you like that," Caine holds up his hand. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm sure you'd all like some time alone about now. I was actually hoping to explore a little bit. Give myself the grand tour of this digital land."
"You sure?" Zooble asks. "This place seems real easy to get lost in."
"I'm sure I'll manage just fine. Who knows, I might even come across something that'll jog my memory!"
"Well, good luck with that." Jax chuckles.
Caine doesn't seem to pick up on his sarcastic tone. "Thanks, Jax! See you later, everybody!"
The rest of them wave him off while going to their respective doors. Ragatha's room is right next to Jax's, and before she can shut her door, he calls to her from in front of his.
"Hey."
Ragatha pokes her head back out. "Yes, Jax?"
"Just an FYI, Pomni's a jester, not a clown."
"Oh. Uh, is that important?"
Jax grins sardonically. "Like Zooble said, she got pissed off at Caine just for existing. After seeing that, do you really wanna let her hear you calling her a clown?"
"Oh, haha, good point." The nervous laugh is precisely the reaction that Jax was hoping to elicit.
"Welp, nighty-night!" With that, he walks into his "new" room and shuts the door firmly behind him.
@etcetera-soforth88 I loved it! I will retcon the fact they remember their faces though I think it would add more drama if they didn’t! Anyways onto the show!

Ragatha pov:
Ragatha laid awake on her bed she had woken up after an hour or two (she thinks there’s not exactly a way to tell time in there), her room was… less than ideal (had she really been living here?) with it looking like a doll house set up for an imaginary tea party
But after a couple more minutes she soon heard knocking coming from her door, were the others up?
So Ragatha walked up and opened the door only to see… a mannequin with googly eyes and a baseball cap?
???: “OH! Good your awake! Now I know this must be confusing-”
Ragatha slams the door in… “whatever the hell it is”’s face
Ragatha: “what the fuck?! what the fuck!? what the fu-?!”
???, muffled voice comes through the door: “ok yeah that was my bad you just got here and here I come and… ok let’s start over HI! my names Ming!”
Ragatha started to open the door slightly for “Ming”
Ragatha: “u-ummm hi? Ming was it?”
Ming: “Yup! You must be one of the new guys!”
Ragatha: “well actually Pomni said-”
Ming: “sorry about not saying hi before! We didn’t know you guys existed until a couple hours ago!”
Ragatha: “well that’s alright we didn’t know-… did you say WE?”
Ming: “that’s right! Gummigoo’s rounding everyone else up, how about you get your friends and we all meet at the main stage? I’m pretty sure Pomni’s got an adventure planned anyways, she usually doesn’t let us NOT go unless it’s a weekend-”
Ragatha: “n-now hold on-!”
Ming: “ALRIGHT sounds like a plan! See you in a bit Ragatha!”
And Ragatha watched as the mannequin leave as quickly as it appeared… she guessed she should get the others

Ragatha walked up to the final door… Jax’s, she would be lying if she said she wasn’t nervous, for some reason she felt… on edge when she saw him but that might just have been to him being a little… rough around the edges
N-not that she was saying she thought he was mean or anything! He just seemed… like a tough person to get to know… b-but! No better chance than now to get to know them!
So Ragatha reeled her hand up and knocked… nothing… nothing… noth- door opening!!!
Jax: “yes?”
Ragatha: “o-oh! Good you’re here!… so how did you sleep?”
Jax: “… well honestly pretty good, felt like I was being hugged softly”
Ragatha: “well that’s nice… Ummm by the way someone named Ming wanted me to bring everyone to the “main stage” wherever that is-”
Jax: “probably the same spot we talked to Pomni on… wait who or what the hell is Ming?”
Ragatha: “uhhh I’m not really sure myself actually… b-but they seem nice enough! They also said something about Pomni wanting to announce an adventure or something I-I don’t really know but uhhh see you there I guess! Me and the others will be at the end of the hall!”
And as soon as she said that Ragatha awkwardly walked off

Speaking of making assumptions, sorry if I messed up any of your plans with the "they remember their faces" part. I had just figured that, since Jax could remember what he was doing before he entered the Circus, then the "the humans can recall everything about their old lives except for their names" thing still applied. And I thought their old appearances would be included in that. If you think it would be better if it wasn't, that's fine!

Jax didn’t really know what was going on but as he made his way to the end of the hall, he could hazard a guess… apparently him and the five other weirdos weren’t the only freaks stuck here
Everyone was looking downwards to the main stage, in front of which were six other… “people” if you could even call them that but Jax supposed he didn’t exactly have a point to say considering he’s a cartoon bunny now… god was this just his life now or-
Caine: “GUYS YOUR NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT I FOUND!”
Everyone: “GAAAA!!!”
Zooble: “god dude! A Warning would have been nice! Fuck!”
Ragatha, a bit startled but calming down: “w-what did you find Caine?”
Caine: “they have a café here!”
Everyone just kinda looks at Caine for a good second
Jax: “… what?”
Caine repeats: “they have a café here!”
Everyone stares again
Jax: “… so you nearly gave us all heart attacks… over a café?”
Caine, a bit too excitedly: “YES!”
Everyone stares in disbelief
Zooble: “… oooook anyways now that everyone is officially here, Ragatha you said one of (points at the people in front of the stage) those guys wanted us to meet them down there?”
Ragatha: “that’s the long and short of it yeah…”
Jax, still a bit confused: “ok I’m sorry what exactly are we doing here? We all just woke up and apparently someone came to ragsy here and just… what? Wants us Meet them and their buddies?”
Ragatha: “w-well-”
Kinger: “hey where’s Caine?”
And as Kinger had pointed out Caine was no where to be found, Jax quickly peered over the banister to see Caine running over to the other group of weirdos
Jax, clutches where his nose should be: “… looks like we’re meeting them sooner than expected… *sigh* come on”
And so they all start to walk down the stars to the main stage

(So this isn’t going to be overly descriptive but Baer with it)
The OG circus gang crew catch up with Caine at the main stage and meet the new circus crew
Ming introduces everyone (my colleagues or the people reading this can put down whatever for that):
Gummigoo, a candy alligator with a cowboy hat
Dot, a weird multi eyed worm thing with two mouths (the gloink queen) (Jax is very creeped out by them)
DG, another mannequin this time red with a blank face and a fedora
Loolilaloo (or just loo like everyone calls her), a lollipop person with a torn up dress
Ming, a teal mannequin with googly eyes and a baseball cap 
And Theodore, a realistic corpse with a tape recorder taped to his chest much to the contrast of everyone else
Everyone in the OG crew was kinda shocked at Theodore (minus Caine) but before anyone could ask why he looks like that, Pomni pops up and screams
Pomni: “ADVENTURE TIME!!!!!”

Pomni pops up and is saddened that her friends still don’t remember her… but maybe an adventure would help!
So Pomni flys up and introduces
CATCH THE GLOINKS!
(Here is where I let my colleagues work out some of the finer details)
Basically Pomni repeats the first adventure she went on (how does that work when the gloink queen IS one of the players? Well… you’ll see)
Theodore protests against the in house adventure but Pomni just ignores him
Three gloinks bounce over to Dot and nuzzle into her (she actually quite likes them)
Ming and Zooble get kidnapped by the gloinks and everyone goes after them
Bubble is back as a glitchy mess that only Caine can see so Jax call him a nutcase
When everyone gets down to the nest they see all the gloinks hiding in corners as a ginormous glitchy black mass, it appears that what WAS supposed to be the gloink queen (not dot mind you) glitched out and is now a rampaging monster much like an abstraction (once again would like to reiterate this is NOT dot)
Everyone barely makes it back alive
Zooble yells at Pomni
Pomni looks into it and turns out the model is already in use so it glitched
Pomni who’s very confused and wonders what happened to the model
We cut to Dot who says that the adventure felt… familiar in a bad way
Pomni apologies and gives everyone a freshly spawned dinner (which looks way better then anything Caine’s ever made outside of adventures) all of the OG crew (minus Caine who’s happily eating his turkey and mashed potatoes)low key has a crisis realizing this is basically just their life now

Ming is sorta the Ragatha of the group (the npc human group) basically he’s trying to make a good impression on people
Loolilaloo is kinda like Jax constantly pulling pranks, mostly to distract herself from the current situation
And Pomni decided to let dot keep the three gloinks that cuddled with her

Jax wakes up after the events of yesterday which was… a lot, first waking back up in a digital cartoon world as a purple bunny after feeling like someone or something was cuddling him all night (not that he was complaining… it felt nice), then being forced to meet a bunch MORE weirdos ones who have apparently been trapped here for months, THEN being forced to go onto an adventure where they were attacked by a ginormous glitchy blocky monster thing, and THEN he was forced to have dinner while sitting next to what was practically a digital god while they all ate a surprisingly well modeled 3d chicken
Sooooo yeah… Jax was hoping for a more slow day today
So Jax walks up to the main stage after talking with Zooble and Kinger (they were in the hallway discussing yesterday)
Pomni appears in a puff of confetti and announces the day’s adventure
CANDY COURIER CHAOS!
Pomni: “three mischievous bandits have robbed the candy kingdom of their most vital resource! Maple syrup! And it’s up to YOU my beautifully benevolent butterflies to stop them and bring the syrup back!”
Dot says she’s sitting this one out which slightly annoys Pomni but after she explains she wants to show the gloinks around Pomni allows it
Theodore also wants to stay behind but before he can say anything Pomni pushes Jax and everyone else through a portal
Jax, opening his eyes: “wh- huh?”
Jax looks around to see that him and everyone else are in a wagon being pulled to be what looks like some kind of gummy elephant
Zooble: “hey you! Finally awake?” (<- guess the reference!)

Story excerpts (for my fellow writers/or whoever decides to write this to fill out):
The gang arrived to the city where the npcs welcomed them (Pomni gave all the npcs custom models this time to show Caine she was better then him)
A man who called himself the Princess’s adviser says the princess is sick so he’ll be the one giving the knights the equipment they need to catch the syrup bandits
(Before meeting the advisor another npc bumps into Caine causing him to fall onto the floor (like what happened to gangle))
The adviser gifts them a mad max esc truck and sends the gang on their way… right after Jax and the other originals cast members (minus Caine) question what the actual hell the theme of this adventure it, to which DG and Loo says not to worry about it since Pomni likes mixing genre concepts sometimes 
While driving off into the direction of the bandits Caine strikes up with a conversation bothering and annoying Theodore who quickly tells him to shut up which bums Caine out (Ragatha strikes up a conversation with Caine which quickly cheers him up)
When they all get to the bandits camp the entire place is trash with minor glitches on multiple claw marks, when gangle (the one driving the truck) pulls to a stop two of the bandits (Chad & Max) run up waving their arms
They explain that their boss suddenly went nuts and started destroying and attacking everything, then he hopped in the syrup tanker and drove off
The gang let the two gummy gators hop in the truck to help go chase their boss
Gummigoo starts talking to them and they get along great
They all eventually catch up to the stolen syrup tanker and the chase is on!
Jax and Gummigoo jump over to the tankers roof to try and attack the gone mad thief 
Which then the thief comes outside to reveal its another glitched abstraction esc entity sorta like the corrupted gloink queen
Loo basically forces gangle to ram into the tanker which they then get spiked and a bunch of stuff happens which results in Gummigoo, Jax, and the abstraction entity to glitch under the map
Gummigoo and Jax get separated while running from the corrupted thief (which is what I’ll be calling the abstraction Gummigoo entity)
Meanwhile the gang falls off a cliff and meets the fudge
after Theodore convinces the fudge that Loo is not the princess that locked him outside (which loo is confused by because there is no way this ugly thing thinks SHES some stupid princess)
Loo then convinces the fudge to help them find the syrup tanker in exchange for letting it back into the city using the key she stole from Ragatha
Which then comedically the tanker fall from the sky into the fudgey river
We cut back to Jax who runs into the npc gallery seeing both Gummigoo’s and Loo’s models which gives him a minor crisis to say the least
Jax then notices the syrup tanker model and drives it through the maze looking for Gummigoo
Jax runs over the corrupted thief and grabs Gummigoo without telling him about what he saw with the models
They do the block glitch, get out of the underground area, hit the fudge with the tanker basically ruining loos plans for mayhem and destruction
Chad and Max get to take the copy of the syrup tanker back to their village
The gang get back to the city… to which turns out the fudge was back up and followed them planing to eat everything and everyone there… until another abstraction monster shows up (the abstracted loolilaloo entity) and rips the fudge to shreds
The gang quickly run through the portal back to the circus to where Theodore complains about two of those monsters showing up again to witch Pomni promises to fix this little “glitch” for the next adventure

This is really good! I especially like the detail of Pomni wanting to outdo Caine with the NPC models.
Just one question: Would any of them find it a bit odd that the bandit NPCs have designs that make them look similar to one of the "humans" from the Circus?
Well @etcetera-soforth88 the carnival has plenty of mannequins stationed there to main the rides and Gummigoo does look like candy so they probably wouldn’t think it’s too weird… at least the npc “humans” wouldn’t, the human humans probably would find it a little weird
Decided to change this a bit Since I had a way cooler idea!

Basically Pomni said (to the npc “humans”) that all players avatars are random since she didn’t choose them (she’s referring to the fact that she and the other humans didn’t choose they’re avatars (although her mind did subconsciously make the npc “humans” models))
And since the humans/“humans” think Pomni is just an AI, they probably thought she copied something similar to what she was going for Argo Gummigoo like npc’s for a candy themed adventure

Coming for the first time in a while with one of these (sorry y'all. Something something, lack of discipline with writing.)
Hoping that will change. I start back working next Monday and that should get my juices flowing. I legitimately write better when I work.
Anyway, let me had on how I feel Jax would handle his new knowledge about gummygoo...
Jax had spent the last few minutes pacing the little girls room Pomni had put him in with something akin to barely controlled panic.
Finding the models for both gummy and loo had taken the wind out of him in a way he couldn't articulate. It couldn't have been real.
But It was.
Gummygoo and loo were both NPCs.
Not only that, but taking into consideration those weird monsters kinda looked like them, if only a bit, further reinforced that belief.
That, and the fact when those things noticed their apparent other halves, they would focus on them. Jax remembers how that monster gator had focused almost entirely on Gummy from the moment it had laid eyes on him.
Its many eyes.
A shiver ran up and down Jax's spine.
He hated those eyes, but that wasn't the only reason he shivered.
The other reason for Jax's pacing was the fact he didn't know who was real anymore.
Both Gummy and Loo were all but confirmed to be NPCs, unreal people that somehow and for some reason thought they were human. And apparently Pomni thought the same.
Or did she.
She seemed to know them.
Were they NPCs too?
No...he couldn't be.
Even if he didn't want to, he remembers his previous life. His human life...
Unless that was all a lie.
He shook his head like a dog might, ears flopping around, as If shaking his head hard enough would remove those thoughts.
He decided he needed to know for sure.
It was time to collect evidence!

Following Jax realizing he needs to be sure who's a NPC and who's not, he proceeds to gather evidence and makes a table regarding who might be an NPC, and who's real.
At some point, he finds a few notebooks his pastself store from Gangle. Mostly empty, he uses them to store info on everyone.
He has a conspiracy board that lists everyone in the circus and what he thinks they are.
In the beginning, the only certain person that's human is himself.
Everyone else save gummygoo, loo, and dot are in the uncertain category.
He also makes one for the AI.
He feels weird putting Pomni in it.
After he spends a good chunk of his night making this, he can't sleep so he decides to explore the circus, leading to an interesting encounter...

The circus at night was different than the day time version of it. The colors were less saturated, less in your face, and the omnipresent music that existed in the background was softer now.
This was the circus Jax found as he walked around the hallways at night, testing doors in hopes of finding something interesting. Maybe even an exit...
But all he's found is a NPC taking a bath (that did NOT liked to be disturbed) and a multi layered carousel that was filled with the laughter of children (literally)
This latest door was another random one he had chosen...and it apparently had a boxing glove behind it, as once he opened it, said glove punched him squared in the face, lunching him into the wall.
As he sat there dazed, he heard soft giggles coming from above him. Look up, he saw Pomni floating, trying and failing to contain her laughter.
He should have felt creeped out she was just up there watching him, he logically knew.
So why didn't he.
Pomni: "sorry! That wasn't funny!"
Jax:" says the person giggling!"
Pomni set down in front of him, this being the first time he's seen her feet touch the floor as she offered him a hand, something about this sending waves of want and guilt through his body for some reason. He shook these thoughts from himself as he took her hand and she helped him up, her small frame deceptively strong.
Jax: "thanks... So, do you watch everyone else wander around? Or am I just special?"
Pomni, looking a bit bashful: "Sorry. I kinda can see everything in the circus, and when I saw you just walking around, I wanted to come join you. I just arrived when you got hit."
This, she knew was a boldfaced lie. She had been watching him for a bit, scared to approach him, as she was nervous about restarting her friendship with him.
Jax: "well...since you're here, want to join me? You probably know all the cool secrets, right?"
Pomni brightened, and nodded
Pomni: "I know some! But I actually don't know the circus completely. I can't look in any of the rooms. Plus, it was built before I even came here"
Jax blinked at that, filing away that info for later. Apparently, the circus came before the cute little ai...wait, cute?!?
Jax started walking, calling out to Pomni to keep up, the jester joining him, hands clasped behind her back.
For Jax, this felt strangely familiar, even pleasant. And for Pomni, she couldn't help but remember when she and Jax had been real friends. Now, maybe they could be again, even as a tiny voice in her head, one that she had pushed down after their big fight during the gun adventure, wished for more.

Pomni and Jax hang out for a time, both of them discovering rooms and joking together before he heads back to his room to sleep
Pomni stays up to finish the next adventure, unfortunately finding she can't remove the weird, glitch NPC monster. Is files corrupted, making it so she can't even name it.
Instead, she decides to rebuild the adventure around it.
After all, while she didn't care much for horror, she was aware that some of the best horror games had a powerful monster that chased people...

Zooble pov:
We cut to the morning after Pomni and Jax’s exploration of the circus
Zooble along with everyone else awoke from their slumber
They got out of bed (the one which Pomni had given to them after asking as they noticed their room didn’t have one) and started putting in new parts
Zooble felt… weird about their new body, they knew everyone else didn’t like theirs either but they… they just really hated theirs
Gangle knocked on the door Zooble answers and they both chat as they both walk towards the main stage
As everyone gets to the main stage the “AI” aka Pomni poofs into existence with a puff of confetti and jingling bells
Pomni: “Gooooood morning my little mushy mushroom marshmallows!”
Zooble: “do you think that IT’S going to call us a different thing everytime or-?”
Gummigoo: “oh yeah, we don’t know why but Pom just sorta does that”
Pomni: “PAY ATTENTION! I’m about to announce today FANTASTIC adventure!”
Pomni: “and today adventure is!
THE CURSE OF MILDENHALL MANOR!
The Mildenhall manor has been abandoned for years after the mysterious disappearance of both the baron and the baroness but today you all mysteriously have received (Pomni pulls out a bunch of envelopes with wax stamps on them) invitation to the prestigious “Mildenhall black moon ball” and using that you must all go and find out the mansions daaark secrets!”
Pomni: “And for this one I made two branching paths one for the faint of heart (gestures to Gangle, Ming, and Ragatha) and one for mature Zoobles and Theodores only (gestures to Zooble and Theodore)”
And while there were some complaints about a horror adventure right after all those horrible glitch monsters (mostly from Theodore) Pomni just pushed everyone through the portal including dot and her gloinks

Story excerpts:
Everyone wakes up in front of a ginormous mansion and go inside
When they get to the splitting doorways they all get jump scared by ghostly, too which all of OG cast has a quick take (kinger, Jax, and Ragatha do the thing Pomni did and Zooble & Gangle have their own thing (Zoobles limbs come undone while Gangles ribbon shoot straight))
Ghostly turns back into his normal form and explains the doors one is the super scary door (rated: AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! For mature Theodore’s and Zoobles only) and the normal door which leads to the main hallway which of course leads to the ball room
But before Ghostly could say anything else Loo sucks him up with a vacuum
And as Kinger helps Zooble put themself back together dots three gloinks pushed both of them and Theodore through the super scary door
The three land in the trophy room with the walls covered with deformed/demented versions of everyone’s heads (which when Zooble looks at theirs it double creeps them out) there’s also a surprising lack of a certain angel head
As Kinger and Zooble look for a key to the elevator shaft Theodore keeps looking above the fire place… like he’s looking for something
Zooble plays the tape player in that reading room it’s garbled to hell but both Kinger and Zooble notice… it’s Theodore’s voice playing on the tape
meanwhile while the other tape player is playing Theodore gets a headache a really massive headache one so bad he covers his mouth because he feels as if he’s about to vomit… and he does… right out of the tape recorder taped to his chest
As Theodore vomits black liquid from his tape recorder his legs give out and he falls onto all fours in an attempt to elevate the pain caused by both the consecutive vomiting and the headache causing it
When the tape (the one with Zooble & Kinger) stops Zooble finally finds a key, Theodore also stops vomiting
As Theodore stops vomiting he stands back up grabbing an arm chair to steady himself,
Kinger and Zooble go back to the room Theodore’s in to unlock the elevator shaft just in time to see a humanoid arm start to emerge from the black liquid
As soon as the three see this Zooble halls ass to unlock the grate thing to the dumbwaiter (the elevator shaft)
When the corrupted baron (which is what I’ll be calling the abstracted baron Theodore Mildenhall entity) fully emerges from the liquid its body looks like that of Theodore minus it being pitch black, covered in eyes, and one arm being a protruding mass of two cylinders and a triangle (it’s hard to describe a hunting rifle ok?! But yeah the hunting rifle is basically the corrupted barons left arm)
The three trapped humans/“human” manage to slip in the dumbwaiter just as the corrupted baron takes aim and shoots cutting off the rope to the dumbwaiter making it fall
As the three players fall down to the wine cellar we cut to the party above
Ragatha is chatting it up with some friendly maid ghosts (with fully custom models! Once again) as Loo flirts with Martha Mildenhall while tide up to a chair (Martha was pissed after finding out her son was sucked up into a vacuum)
Caine and dots gloinks are having a fun time over at the kids table with ghostly
Jax and Gummigoo are arm wrestling over who gets the last deviled egg while Dot places bets with the ghost staff on who’s gonna win
Gangle is a bit worried about what’s happening with Zooble in the scary door… AND KINGER AND THEODORE TOO OF COURSE! While DG and Ming assure her that although a bit eccentric at times there’s nothing to worry about, Pomni would never go too far with the scare factor to the point of hurting or scaring anyone
Meanwhile our Trepid adventurers (Zooble, Kinger, and Theodore) find themselves in the wine cellar
Theodore makes a comment on how it looks similar to the one he’s got at home
There’s a black liquidity spot on the wine shelf and floor (it’s on the same place where Theodore’s corpse was in the episode) with a shotgun smack dab in the middle of it along with another tape recorder on the ground just in front of the puddle
Kinger pick up the gun and says that awesome two liner (Kinger: “looks like we only have two shots, better make em count”)
As Kinger says that however the corrupted baron falls down the shaft to attack once again but Kinger shoots him, first once in the chest the other in the face eyes
As the corrupted baron goes down however he fires upon the tape recorder causing it to play, which then causes Theodore to vomit from his tape recorder from an immense headache as Zooble helps hold him up
And as the tape finishes multiple hands grow out of the vomit grabbing Kinger, Theodore, and Zooble
Zooble of course curses out Pomni as their dragged to hell
They all end up in hell Zooble has a full on breakdown they confide in Kinger about how much they hate this cartoon body they have
to which Theodore (who has been having the worst week of his life so far) has his own breakdown yelling at Zooble about how their not the only one who hates their body, about how how their not the only one who hates this stupid circus, and about how THEIR NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO CANT EVEN REMEMBER WHAT THEIR FACE LOOKED LIKE!!!
At first a bit peeved at Theodore for yelling at them, that last comment gave Zooble and Kinger pause
But before either of them could question further two white spindly arms came out of the creepy stone hallway (you know the one in hell) the rest of the body quickly comes out to reveal the angel (not that the players know that) with its head attached
Kinger and Zooble freak out with the former pulling the latter behind them in an attempt to shield them
Theodore on the other hand just looks at the beast in majesty… right before the headache comes back with random flashes one of the angels head being cut off and put on a wall, one of Pomni and Kinger taking a gun from his hands, and one of Kinger beating him up with the butt of a gun
But before the headache gets any worse the angel rests its hand on Theodore’s shoulder snapping him out of it
Skip forward a bit the angel led the trio out back to the front door then quickly goes back to the basement/hell
And just as they get there the rest of the gang come out from the party with Gangle rushing up to check in with Zooble
And to what happens when they all get back to the circus I leave to my co-writers

Broad strokes:
Decided to change my retcon a bit of the thing I said to @etcetera-soforth88 about faces, only NPC “humans” can’t “remember” they’re “real” faces
Just as Caine made a program to “perfectly” encapsulate a human mind in a digital body he also made a program to make them a room, the program makes a room based on what the human thinks most about unfortunately Caine didn’t realize that humans think about bad things more then not
For Theodore’s “human” memories, he comes from OLD OLD money, he highly enjoys hunting for sport, BI but highly closeted, and he’s divorced
And After the haunted house adventure Pomni went into Zoobles room and made them a more humanoid part as an apology… and also to watch them sleep a bit before going to Jax’s room

So, I decided to retcon my idea for the CURSE OF MILDENHALL MANOR thing in for @draksavior34 idea because honestly, I like it more than mine BUT that's taking a while to do, SO! to prove this isn't dead ill be posting a small thing here.
*breaths in* … Ok! So I’ve had this idea about the exit incident for this AU so here’s a sneak peek at that

It has been one hell of a week for Pomni one with her friends not remembering her, her “new humans” the “new humans” starting to complain more and more, and her rekindling something she had thought she had lost with Jax… that last part wasn’t to bad she supposed
Anyway yada yada yada middle middle middle, Pomni has a freak out in front of everyone after Theodore starts to really dig into her and so spawns… Abel, the start of the fall for her and her little found family
Abel looked basically the same with him looking just like a normal mannequin but he spawned in with that squiggly drawn on smiley face for a face and he was completely covered in cracks
Pomni just looked down at him… how was he here? How was the THING that Caine used to give them all false hope… here… she saw Caine delete him after he had outlived his usefulness
Abel: “…huh? Wha-? How am I-?”
Ragatha: “ummm… hi! Uhhh new stuff! I now this is probably a lot to process-”
Loo: “yeah yeah nice pep talk- HEY POMS! THIS ONE OF YOUR FREAKS OR AN ACTUAL NEW GUY!?”
Pomni just stares… frozen… which kinda freaks everyone out
Then Abel runs up to Ragatha and pulls her in but is pretty much screaming to everyone
Abel: “You have to listen to me! My name is Abel! You have to find the ringmasters office it’s the only way out of the circus! Please don’t forget me! please I’m begging you please don’t forget-!”
*snap*
And just like that… Abel is gone leaving nothing but confetti drifting to the floor, a shocked and horrified crew of misfit weirdos, and a weirdly calm Pomni
Pomni: “… today’s adventure is cancelled… you all can head to the beach if you want”
