the brunettes eyes widened , excitement lacing his gaze . sure , he didn't know the couple personally , but he'd heard of aurora and phillip before and knew the importance of their status . and besides , a pregnancy was usually a pretty exciting thing .

" you're kidding , " he scoffed , jumping up off from his place on leaning against a nearby post . " does that make you an honorary aunt ? " he wasn't sure how close juniper was with the couple , but clearly she was involved in their lives .

" sure , if you have the time ~ , " the soldier replied , falling in line along side the world jumper . " a lot has happened since you've been gone , but . . it doesn't really feel like anything's changed , if that makes any sense . "

"I'm not sure about the aunt part, I think that child will have plenty of those." she mused, thinking of all of the princesses that were all like sisters to one another.

The world jumper started to walk down the path that would lead them out of the woods of Discovery Island, and then to the bridge to Magic Kingdom, which always remained unseen to regular guests.

"Go on." she simply encouraged Nod.

god , it was like she was a natural . not that nod had ever been amazing with bow and arrow , he was much more of a swordsman than anything — but he had to admit , she made it look like it was as easy as breathing .

“ you’re good though , right ? “ he didn’t want to come off as concerned , especially with how well june handled herself , but he knew firsthand how easy it was to feign feeling normal after an injury . “ i’ve got some spare bandages if you need any , “

god , where to start . doc dying and then coming back to life , him finding nymh nearly decaying , becoming an honorary dwarf , befriending jiminy , william and nicholas were still in the same stage though so . at least that was a constant . “ uhh . . how much time do you have ? i’m gonna need an hour per person , “ he mused .

The brunette slips the bow on herself to wear it like a cross-body bag.

"Yes, of course. And so are they. They're expecting, due date's not too far I believe." she explained with a light smile dancing upon her lips.

She fetched the arrows from the tree she'd been shooting at, wiped the tips off and put them in the quiver by her hip.

"I have to make my rounds around the parks. Walk with me?"

he's watching the arrow pass by with a grin , turning his attention almost immediately back to the brunette , " not bad ! " as if he could do any better .

anyways , disregard the fact that he is more excited than any dog in the near vicinity , " where have you been ? ! i haven't seen you since your birthday ! "

A glance, she offers the leafman a smile, picks up another arrow, aims.

"Hm, that's true-- I jumped worlds. Aurora and Phillip ran into some trouble I couldn't ignore. I had to help."

She shoots that second arrow, turns her attention back to her friend.

"What have you been up to?"
