The verse reads as God remembered Noah 👀. like my first though was , whom else is he gonna remember, everyone else is dead now 😒. But could you imagine , if God has changed His mind . After he promised to save Noah , what if he decided to stay up in the heavens and be worshipped by the Angels . If God was anything like me , I would convince myself how stressful humans are and drown every last one of them 😊. Yet God , the creator of the universe , he coulda just hit restore factory settings on the whole universe and create just re download a whole new human race without free will , and have everything go his way (something I would've done ). Honestly God is love, and he's a God of second chances . He didn't have to care but He did and dried up the earth that they may have an opportunity to start a new life. He also made a covenant with them to promise them He wouldn't get that angry again to wipe away the coming generations On another note , the time on the boat can signify a trial period in your life . Imagine being stuck on this boat . I think I would have to jump out . The way I love my personal space and solitude . Then I'm over here smelling giraffe booty and my sibling and his wife are arguing and my parents are being annoying 🙄, someone might just get thrown off . We know that God probably provided sufficient dimensions for everyone to be comfortable, but I'm sure there was a Nicole on that boat who didn't want to see or hear people sometimes . Think about it , You can't even go for a walk and get fresh air . There are trial periods in our life where we start to feel as though , alternative options would be much better , you're thinking , the people who died must be peacefully eternally sleeping by now, but you're over here . You've been on the boat for so long , water everywhere . You even begin to wonder how at all is God gonna clear this water , He may just have to make you a mermaid at that point, restart the whole population as a marine species . Yet no , God remembered Noah, and he dried the land and he will remember you . So I'm sure you're waiting for that olive leaf to give you hope of the better days ahead . Just know God hasn't forgotten you . Keep praying on your boat , your olive branch is growing waiting to be plucked .

So what if after all the fasting , after all the prayers , after all the studying . You don't get your dream life . No dream husband / wife. No dream house , no kids , no dream job or house . How does that make you feel . Do you still remain in Christ , do you lose your faith ? Do you become discouraged ? Let's be honest , how long have you been praying for that breakthrough , begging God for something to happen and you almost feel like He doesn't hear you . Does God begin ceasing to be God for you ? Everyone has been there at one point or the other . But David said in all His years in life , he never saw the the righteous forsaken and if that we commit all things to God and He will help us , if we trust him and do good , we will prosper . I believe that in all things we go through God is with us , and it is never over yet . Even if we aren't getting what we want , we worship Him and praise Him not because of what He's done but because of who He is . Continue trusting for My God never fails . Your wahala be koko for my God lol .

I love watching cooking shows show where the reduced a red wine sauce over some lamb or something unnecessary of that sort or beer battered wings or something . I'm still yet to do this because alcohol is expensive , I have no use for the rest. Alcohol is a pretty tricky subject . My church frowns on the consumption of alcohol altogether . Yet I think it's debatable, I realized the bible says not to get drunk (eph 5:21), but rather to be filled with the spirit . Therefore Christians can infer that, they can drink as long as they don't get drunk . Yet Let's be honest with our selves . It takes a lot of self control to go to a buffet and just eat one plate , the same it takes to drink one drink which makes you feel good inside. But look at King Lemuel's mama over here , Mama sure does know best (sometimes lol) . She told him "baby , don't chase these hoes, just don't do it , they'll destroy you as they've done to many men before" . Then she said , baby , that Hennessy and ciroc is for the dying man , it's for the man with nothing going for him , it's for that man in pain to help him forget his pain . He has no house no kids no ambition . Yet you my son are a king, you have authority over great matters, and it would be a shame for you to be inebriated, and not give proper judgement. Well that's a bit far fetched , she didn't use those exact words, but if we met her today she probably would've lol . So then back to ourselves , as Christians were called to glorify God in all we do. We're called to be set apart from the world . Make executive decisions and influence the world through the power of He that lives in us . I personally feel that the Holy Spirit is my inhibitor . Stopping me from doing the many things my flesh desires to do, and many they are . I believe that I would lose my inhibitions once I consumed alcohol . How would I then properly reflect the glory of God while I'm twerking azonto on Johnny, and ending my night piss drunk on the floor or in johnnys bed , conveniently vomiting the next morning . Who then can I influence , who trusts me for executive decisions . Let the us be then spirit filled Kings and Queens to the glory of God and be conscious of the decisions we make.

“But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬ http://bible.com/116/ecc.11.2.nlt I have been thinking about investments for a while now. It's funny because Michelle mentioned it as well yesterday. I feel as though as I'm growing , my only source of income cannot be the job I work . Even in the bible , were advised to divide our investments among many places . So i started thinking, where can I invest? the stock market is an option ,but I would have to educate myself on stocks. There are also bonds . I could also finance businesses for a percentage, or give out private loans, Start my own business, real estate has is perks . But all of this requires an initial source of income and currently I am broke . Struggle. Yet God placed something on my heart about one of the best places to invest . It is in Him and His work . I've noticed people are often reluctant about giving in church . We tend to feel that we're giving the clergy money to finance their personal and selfish interests. When in all honesty ,You're giving to God . I can count the countless times when I've given an offering to God and I saw a blessing later on down the line . It is important that we know that God blesses us that we may be blessings to others so among all the places where you divide your investment , ensure that the church and Gods work is one of your priority investments . Most importantly , never let anyone force you to give , I don't believe in church extortion *cough*. Yet you should give from what God places on your heart for the Lord loves a cheerful giver.

Our qualification comes from God.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ http://bible.com/116/2co.3.5.nlt I believe in Hardwork, I believe that what I put in is what I'll get out . After all , you reap what you sow . Yet sometimes we can be overcome with the feeling that we may just not be good enough . Well maybe I'm speaking for myself, but I begin to beat myself up about not putting in enough work or being smart enough , then I started to wonder if I didn't trust God enough or He doesn't care about that part of my life . Fortunately God showed me that it is in my weakness that He is made strong . If I don't have my weak moments how do I see His strength, and so I've come to embrace my weak moments knowing it's an opportunity that My Lord will take over . Once God takes over ,This leads us to the places where were put way above all your hard work and you start to wonder how/why . It's because Jehovah qualifies us for the things we aren't qualified for . Our qualification come from God . Hence why one of my favorite verses is "Now to Him that is able to do ABOVE and BEYOND, all that we THINK and ASK , according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20. In everything that we do , it's important to seek God because Gods will for you are better than your desires for you self. Look at how he upgraded Joseph as the pharaoh of Egypt . Let Go and Let God

Animals that are stolen and crippled and sick are being presented as offerings! Should I accept from you such offerings as these?” asks the LORD.” ‭‭Malachi‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬ http://bible.com/116/mal.1.13.nlt Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if Jesus hadn't died for our sins, and in today's age, I would have to go and find sheep and goats and birds to sacrifice . Would there be a store selling live stock for these purposes ? Would I have to make an appointment with the priests months in advance because if I didn't , I won't get a spot at the end of the year to take my animal for sacrifice . How much money do you spend on the animal m, is it based on your income? What if you're unemployed ? What if you live with your parents and they buy you a bird but with the sins you've been committing , you need a cow. I mean the animal is gonna die anyway, yet you wanna make sure it's worthy enough . Wouldn't it make sense to buy a dying sick animal, because it's really just about the blood that will be shed and all blood is blood . All these questions and we wouldn't even have the holy spirit to direct us 😩😫. But God sent his only begotten son that once we believe we are guaranteed eternal life . So then what do we sacrifice in today's age , if everything has already been sacrificed ? Jesus did it all on the cross, right? So you must be wondering . *Insert drumroll* . Yup you got that right , it's ourselves . How many of us have wholeheartedly offered ourselves to God? how many times have you heard a message in church and went home and decided that it was time for change, but by Monday you were back to your old ways ? How many times have we promised God that if He got us out of a specific predicament, we would be faithful? How many people are just Sunday Christians? you can indulge during the week , but on Sunday , oh, that's Gods day, you just gotta be holy till about 9pm if we're being optimistic. Romans 12:1 reads “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” I love those last two words , your reasonable service . Sometimes the way we offer our selves to God , we're giving him mangled, sick and crippled "animals" and honestly how should he accept it . We are living sacrifices , our lives are no longer ours, so stop thinking that it's your life, and you do what you want . Your ransom was expensive , you were blood bought , you owe it to him . For those of us with a little rebellion in our hearts , remember that God wants what's ultimately best for you so give your life to Him . I promise it's one of the best decisions you'll make .

She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31:25-27‬ ‭NLT‬‬ http://bible.com/116/pro.31.25-27.nlt I remember the first time I discovered what a proverbs 31 woman was . There was this boy in school, I thought was cute and he had changed his profile picture to an image that read "I prefer a proverbs 31 women to a Victoria secret model ". In retrospect , I don't believe in shaming Victoria secret models . Frankly their bodies are fire , and they probably should cover up and be modest, but you lose people by shaming them . So I began to wonder what this proverbs 31 thing was , both because I wanted to know and also wanted to see what kind of girl he likes so I dusted off my bible lol and read the verse , and thought it was the most beautiful description of the epitome of a woman, especially the last verse about charm and beauty and a woman fearing the Lord . Every god-fearing woman desires to be proverbs 31 . Genuinely it requires a lot of pruning and molding by our Father. I love verse 25 (it's the quote on the back of my phone case) . Those adjectives ,Strength and dignity , imagine a woman so bold , who foundation and trust lies in God that she laughs without a care or worry. Oh how I desire to be that bold . In addition to this she's intelligent and not arrogant, and is kind with her words . Have you realize that most women who need to assert there woman hood in our misogynistic culture tend to be rude and hard to assert a type of masculinity , yet proverbs 31 describes her as kind and in charge of her house hold . She's kind but still the head babe in charge lol. Such a desirable woman , may we all be blessed to become her or find her to be in our lives

“and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:8-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬ http://bible.com/116/mrk.10.8-9.nlt Marriage , my least favorite topic . Yet it seems God might be trying to change that in me . We are told that you will leave and cleave and become one . I always use to wonder how exactly two people become one . Like they're still two people 🙄. Like I can see them . So first things first , once you marry , you've both made a covenant with God . Afterward , you make a covenant with each other through having sex . "And don't you realize that if a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? For the Scriptures say, "The two are united into one." 1 Corinthians 6:16. So now you've become one with your spouse, and together you both have a covenant with God . Now when we look through the Old Testament , we see the countless times Israel broke covenants and "joined" themselves with other nations, and had to face Gods wrath . God dislikes when we break his covenant ."this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will deal with you as you deserve, because you have despised my oath by breaking the covenant." Ezekiel 16:59. Therefore it's stated , Let no one split apart what God has put together . It sounds like a warning to me . So whether you're in a marriage , outside , former lover , mother in law etc , you dare not try to split apart Gods covenant . In lieu of this , we know Gods grace is sufficient for cases in which his covenant may be broken ie. Divorce due to infidelity, but it's important that were spirit led so we make the right choices .

“Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that you don’t know the Scriptures, and you don’t know the power of God.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:29‬ ‭NLT‬‬ http://bible.com/116/mat.22.29.nlt I heard this verse one night as I was playing my bible app and drifting off into sleep , the phrase struck me immediately and shortly after I fell asleep lol . Now I dislike taking bible verses out of context so I have to explain the background . In the context, it was a discussion about resurrection and who would have a claim to a woman who had been widowed 7 consecutive times and had to marry her late husbands brother wavy time . Verse 29 above was the first answer Jesus uttered . I bet you If Jesus was anything like my mother she would've responded "Wei nyinaa y3 nsem hunu , eho nhia". Yet Jesus further explained that, marriage would be irrelevant during resurrection . An irony how much focus it takes on earth but I digress . But the spirit spoke to me on a different sense or better yet context ., " Your mistake is that you don't know the scriptures and you don't know the power of God . It spoke of a lack of faith in our lives . How many times in our life have we doubted Gods possibilities and limited him in the scope of our minds . Thinking that he wouldn't be able to do certain things or wouldn't care to . So for a personal reference I feel like dating is a waste of time(somewhat) . "Love" or however you'll describe it is an aspect of my life I've left to God . On the flip side , I know people who feel like God isn't going to drop a husband in your lap , my question is , how do you know He won't ? (I mean I'm not expecting that either , I would prefer a bit more finesse ) Am I not limiting Him, not trusting the scripture and believing His power? And of course sometimes there's that voice in my head that says , "hey , what if after all that waiting ; nothing happens ? Well look at Sarah , way past her expiry date but look what God did . In the end . God is still God and even if it was his will for me not to marry or His will doesn't go according to our desires. It doesn't limit his power . This applies to several other situations as well . My marriage references are becoming too frequent 🙄🙄🙄. Whether it's a job , your education , a child, immigration, your unsaved family member , mental illness , principalities Etc, let us have faith , trust the scriptures and Believe on the power of God. “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:26‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I think I used to feel a void inside of myself , I would get depressed , have suicide ideations , I think I just felt that I wasn’t enough , I didn’t know my worth . This is not an uncommon predicament for many people , some just choose not to speak about us . And in that time no one ever feels that their solution is in God . In fact you may think that God might just be part or your problem and He isn’t helping you with the problem either . If we truly understood that everything we’re looking for could be found in God . You realize that He renews you , He fulfills you and He gives you purpose . You’re made in His image and likeness , you’re fearfully and wonderfully made . And in Him will you find a well that never runs dry . The great thing about it is you begin to impact other with this new found worth that they may never thirst again and sing for joy to the end of their lives .

Inner Beauty

You know what I want I want to perfect ? How to apply eyelashes . It’s such a struggle , I keep watching YouTube videos but my goodness , it’s not going well , interestingly Enough , months ago I wanted to perfect my eyebrows . Now they aren’t perfect but I’m content lol . You can’t fleek all the time . But I’ve realized I always have some type of physical goal I want to attains . Not for anyone but for my self , so when I look in the mirror I feel like 😋😋😋😋. When I was younger , I was just patiently waiting to grow boobs as I enviously watched the other girls developing 😒. My mother still makes fun of me to this day . During my sophomore year after one week of the squat challenge , I realized it wasn’t really that deep . Now I’m not saying these things are bad . If you want muscles , a smaller waist Etc, go ahead with your bad self . But don’t neglect that a lot of your beauty comes from the inside . I’ve meet beautiful people whose trash personality immediately took them to the negatives . What non -physical goals to we work on in life , to be more patient ? To be more kind ? Helping others , showing care and love and not being self centered , showing respect. Over here the verse highlights that women who claim a devotion to God must show that inward beauty in the good things the do . I’m currently working on being less prideful and all I can say is His grace is sufficient lol .

Chew some w3le and a well done filet mignon

“You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. I got saved about roughly four years ago , and you know before this I knew what right and wrong was , I just felt like some things were more wrong that others and overall I was a good girl , so I’m safe right? . I mean after all I haven’t murdered anyone , I’m not promiscuous . I mean I little cursing here and there , a little partying , a little porn . I mean look at the people around me , some are doing waaaaaaaay worse things . I felt that when Jesus came , He would just have a really hard time deciding if I was to go to heaven or hell. The funny part was I wasn’t straddling the fence . I was calmly leaning on one side thinking that I was on the other . But one day God opened my eyes and showed me , baby girl you’re on the wrong side . Now after four years , I wouldn’t say that I am perfect , and I know it all, I have my shortcomings and each day I strive to be more and more like Christ . I wasn’t the person I used to be . And as Christians we have to see are self grow . We can just be attached to the milk for the next ten years , your teeth will grow , your faith will grow , you can chew some wele now . You can hear from God now. So as we grow we become more conscious of right and wrong , what is sin and what is not and we strive to live spiritually fruitful lives that glorify God 😊. I definitely know He’s not through with me yet .

The fire He makes

“This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1:6-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

They say fire is a good servant but a bad master. I like fire , it’s so beautiful and so free , the way it just dances around and engulfs and transforms anything that it comes into contact with . It can either refine or destroy . I remember being younger and one of my weekend trips to Michelle’s house and right when we got home and were preparing for bed . The car in the garage just began burning . I was both amazed and terrified because how could something so beautiful be so dangerous and so powerful . But we don’t ever realize they God deposits some of these flames into us. Sometimes when we have hands laid on us we think we’re instantly going to change . But a flame has been deposited in us and it’s our job to fan it . To make it that beautiful powerful element that fire demonstrates to us .and sometimes we may fear that we aren’t good enough but God says he’s give us the spirit of power, love and a sound mind/ / self discipline .

Deeper than fitfam

““Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it.” 1 Timothy 4:8-9 NLT

I am one of fit fam’s most unloyal members because it seems I lack the discipline to be a part of them for a long period of time . But physical training is good . It does the body good ? It helps build Strength, it helps build stamina ,endurance . It keeps you healthy , it’s adds to your attraction factor and it teaches you discipline and resilience and it’s important that everyone incorporates it into their regime . Yet the problem begins when you’re a beast in the gym but your spiritual life is on zero . Spiritual fitness is said to benefit you in this life and the life to come . Once we die, our bodies will remain in the ground . Even if we’re raptured away , these are not the bodies were taking to heaven . Therefore our godliness and the constant strive to become like Christ. Making investments in your godliness not only allows you to reap spiritual benefits but immediate benefits as well . May we have the discipline , resilience and endurance to live godly lives filled with the gifts and fruits of the spirit .

There are some corporations that enforce a rule that wherever you go, your actions reflect that of the company and I never used to understand because after all the didn’t create you , the only hired you . . For anyone who knows me , you know I love Emirates flight attendants , I always stare at them longingly whenever I fly , I hold them in high esteem, they’re elegant and poised and just , down right beautiful to their red manicured nails , Crimson lipstick and their hint of Arabian flair in that scarf that hangs so effortlessly on the side of their faces . I promise I think I’ve seen all of them walking in step and I stopped and it seemed like everything around me slowed down . Now I’m sure that outside of work , they aren’t as perfect as I’m making them seem. They have their flaws and their drama . But imagine my disbelief if I saw one in uniform , piss drunk laying on the side of the street , clothes all dirty and haphazard from the constant falling . I would just wonder “ Why did Emirates even hire you ?, wow they must be lowering their standards . God forbid this person was driving drunk and hit some children crossing the street , the news would read "Emirates attendant arrested for drunk and reckless driving”. In this situation , She’s no longer considered her own person but has represented the whole company with her actions . Even in the wake of the massive police brutality , one officers actions is reflective of the whole force, and attributed to inefficient training . Well my point here is , once we accept Jesus as our Lord and personal savior , we become immediate representatives of Him , and this is a uniform that you cannot take off . Your actions may be the only Christ someone may see . So we’re told to live in the light and be clear headed / sober minded , not letting anything but the light of Christ filter our judgement . Wearing that armor of faith and love and always remembering where our salvation comes from and the reason why we live the way we live . So next time you’re urged to cuss some one out , cheat a person , act prideful , do things contrary to Gods word , or take an action which you think affects only you . Remember that you’re representing Christ .

Sex sells , there’s no doubt about it . I’ve seen a commercial where they were advertising sandwiches and the women were in bikinis biting their sandwiches in slow motion . You can imagine my amusement/surprise/ confusion when I saw a commercial on Ghanaian television and these ladies had sexualized fufu pounded . Sexual immorality is rampant, and when I wasn’t in Christ, I used to believed anything outside of inter course was fine . I was really wondered how exactly God wanted us to cope . But here we are told to stay away from all sexual sin . Gods will is for us to be holy . So the porn , the masturbation , the heavy petting , when the kissing goes a little too far, the grabbing and pulling and doing everything under the sun that isn’t actually intercourse and feeding on your lust….,well……Unfortunately it all makes you impure . I’m not saying the feelings won’t come but God says to control your body , one of the fruits of the spirit is Self control . Were told to flee from youthful lusts , not to entertain it . Fortunately ,The spirit of God is here as our helper. Let us strive to live holy lives which is pleasing and acceptable to God . If you happen to be burning with passion , keep praying harder for your future husband or wife . God will be sure to see you through for your purity is important to Him.
