So I just got back from Tokyo last night and have a few relevant highlights I’d like to document lol:
1. I went to the YouTube-made famous Ikebukuro BL café. The vibes were honestly immaculate and I was able to properly communicate completely in JPN☺️
As you may know, on their BL menu you can order a pocky game where you can specify any scenario that ends with a “kiss (they stop right before actually locking lips)” and they act it out for you. I (to no one’s surprise I’m sure) had them do a sick at home scene that they ran with and went basically like:
A: *coughs*
B: you should be resting
A: no I have stuff to do I’m fine I’m fine
(Many protests back and forth)
B: *insists he rests, pushes him down, says he’ll give him a ‘reward’ if he behaves.
*kiss*
*more Intense making out* lol
A: oh I feel so much better!!!
B: Ah my head hurts
Girl (other customer) I was with: wow that was fast lol (there’s a superstition/myth that in order to heal from a cold you have to give it to someone else)
It might sound a bit eccentric and I guess it is but I’d wanted to go for over 7 years and it was honestly such a wholesome and chill experience so I definitely want to go again in the future
2. On the Long plane rides, one of the things I did to keep myself occupied was brainstorm very specific scenarios for the franchise that caused me to drag my ass to the country in the first place (I went to G/rowth Party!!!!!)
After adding back in the ‘censored’ parts, I copy/pasted everything I wrote below the cut. Maybe I’ll actually go thru with this but we’ll see lol. Apologies in advance if my Japanese is inaccurate especially since I didn’t have access to google translate on the plane. pls feel free to correct me bc I’m always trying to learn more!!

Green x (11) means they appear/are mentioned but aren’t the sick one. Was considering tacking on VAZZROCK but I think I still need to get to know them better first lol
