Don’t stop talking about Palestine 🇵🇸
I don't post much about nonfiction on here, but considering the strike this week I thought I'd share some of the books I've read on Palestine/Gaza in the last couple months. I got these for free from haymarket books & verso books (or my library). I recommend picking up some if not all of these.
The Hundred Years War on Palestine & The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine go into the last 100 years of Palestine's history and occupation
Ten Myths About Israel gives a bit of an more brief overview centred around Israeli propaganda
A Socialist Revolution and BDS go into history & freedom/rights movements & institutional boycotts, in Palestine and globally
Freedom Is A Constant Struggle connects Palestinian liberation movements with Ferguson and Black liberation in the US
They Called Me A Lioness is about the experiences of Palestinians in the West Bank, and a teen girls' 8 month imprisonment
Light In Gaza is various essays on different elements of oppression, resistance, and life in Gaza
The Palestine Laboratory is about Israel's military tech being developed & tested on Palestinians and how it's used all around the world.
For everyone here on my Tumblr I need y’all to stop what you’re doing and really lock in to the genocide happening in Gaza right now. I will post as many links as I can but the best you can do right now is be loud as fuck! About this.
TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.
Please I need to see y’all talking about this and being loud for Palestine. Your anime yaoi twink hyperfixation will still be here tomorrow but literally thousands of innocent people may not.
QUEEN SHIT
The first three taylor swift songs you see will describe your 2023

Hey Doctor...
ID: Twitter account IMEU “BREAKING: Reports that Israeli police have created a barrier around the Salahiya home, blockading dozens of Palestinians on the inside. Witnesses are reporting screams and cries for help heard from outside the barrier as Israel prevents ambulances and journalists from entering”
“A journalist on the scene reports that Israeli military and police threatened to beat him if he came any closer to the barrier.”
Israeli Occupation forces are currently demolishing the home of the Salahiya family in Sheikh Jarrah, according to Muna El Kurd’s live feed, the Salahyia family is screaming for help after being beaten by the occupation military, more than 200 police cars surround the neighborhood.
ALL EYES ON SHEIKH JARRAH
Update: the home of the Salahiya family has been completely demolished. Users on live feed are talking about the things left behind. Photo albums, toys, clothes - an entire family’s history destroyed, a home they lived in all their lives. They had no time to collect any of their belongings and were woken up around 3 am to Israeli Occupation forces.
ID: Twitter user Adrian De Leon (@aadeleon) “when Israel demolishes Palestinian homes, understand that they're demolishing Palestinian lives, entire generations, *genealogies* of Indigenous life.”
there’s nothing left.
occupation forces raided the home while the family was sleeping at 3am, beat the family, detained the family, then demolished their home without letting them pack or grab a single item
over 20 other neighbors were also detained for protesting this act of evil. journalists were beaten. ambulances were barred entrance despite the need for medical help and a family is now homeless and arrested for the crime of simply daring to exist
in case anyone was wondering what ethnic cleansing looks like, this is it.
“Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
Are Israelis even humans? No sign of that. Where are the human right activists when we need them the most? Where are the superpower countries who claim they have power against injustice? :( #israelisrealterrorist #israelterrorism #terrorism #israel #zionism #animals #palestine #palestinewillbefree #freepalestine

There’s something pleasing about being sad. It’s weird. Like I am a fan of all sad songs, well especially made by Taylor Swfit. Love you Taylor. Happy Birthday.
In a need of a good cry today. What a glorious Monday morning on 13 Dec. Hi, Taylor. Happy Birthday, btw. :)
I have no idea what will come next. I have no idea about a lot of things these days and so I’ve clung to the one thing that keeps me connected to you all. That thing always has and always will be music. And may it continue, evermore. My new album evermore is out now: https://taylor.lnk.to/evermorealbum

Love love love; at that time I still remember being confused as to whether this was real. And it was, gladly. Love you Taylor, forevermore. :)
