I just want her to slow down because at the speed she’s going she’s gonna crash. Give herself a break to sit back live a life, learn and educate herself. She’s literally just a robot popstar at this point. I think deep down she’s a good person but just so out of touch with life outside of being popstar.

Honestly the more time has passed since the album dropped, the more I’ve come to the realisation how tone deaf and morally wrong the songs she’s just released (especially in this political climate) like girl read the room

Tbh to me “not talking about Palestine on my socials because it’s a safe space to me and I can blog about anything I want” is really selfish and cruel. Palestinians don’t have any safe space right now. I don’t care what you do in real life if you’re hiding your views on the internet because currently internet is a place where we can put the pressure on powerful people and convince general public that we need to react. I’m so glad you’re here because I do value your opinion. I agree with everything you said: I couldn’t finish songs on this album, the lyrics are super cringe at times and everything sounds the same. I think that’s my opinion of her last two albums; every song sounds the same. Every song she ever wrote that wasn’t great prior to these albums at least sounded unique. But no one seemed to point this out to her in the process lately?

Also as a personal aside, I have also softened on TS due to her lack of discussion of real life/world issues. (How has no one pointed out it stopped after June 2023?) Anyway.. this album doesn’t help and her current trajectory aren’t helping. Some people live in the real word and notice this about her.

Lastly, like you - I am married and have my own life (I actually have two small kids). Life does go on. You don’t have to be a stan forever. You can have your own personality and life aside from this. You’ve done great and will continue to thrive.

I never thought in a million year that i would agree to people saying travis ruined her taste 😭 but seriously though i thought about it and i think its true but not in a “ruined it” way cause almost everyone i know who gets into a serious relationship starts to look like their partner and want to share their interest and stuff and this does look like an album travis would love sooo ? 😭 and the album is full of cringy shit and stuff that he would say and do ( like keep it 100 ? 😭) also she seems like a person who loves getting into her partner's world and be included in it i mean no person can deny how much she is matching his and his friends aesthetic and apparently that affected her writing too , and she did say her and joe share the same musical taste and he plays guitar and piano so he definitely understands stuff about music and writing in general more than travis does to give her his opinion ?, i dont expect great lyrics from every song but for me something in the song has to compensate for the bad shitty writing and that is not there for most of the songs on the album it lacks concept and sounds just flat with no fucking emotion , the melodies is good but the writing is fucked up ( but Elizabeth taylor is the only 10/10 song ) i cant believe she is the same person that wrote false god and dress ?? I totally understand people saying “ joe is a better muse” 😭

Taylor said she has different writing styles using different pens. Like fountain pen, glittery pen, quill pen...but like how about just a normal fucking pen? All I want for someone in her life to be actually HONEST with her. This is her worst album to date. she's 20 years in the music industry she should know better but I guess thats what happens when you surround yourself with yes people.

I think she struggling to accept that she's getting older? she's trying to keep up with the young crowds that she comes across as very cringey and embarrassing. Maybe when she gets married and have kids she gets out of her delulu land. Because we all know what she's capable of writing and this was not it.

It kinda makes sense why this album lacked substance because she was on tour when she wrote this record. She didn’t really have a life outside of it, and all she had interesting going on was this new relationship with a guy with a big dick. I get it in a way?

Yeah but that’s not an excuse either. Nobody forced her to release an album right now. You don’t release a whole album unless you truly believe it’s a good piece of art with deep and meaningful music. And if she truly believes that then….well. That’s disappointing.
