tia liked to think of herself as a pretty good dancer, but she hated the nae nae for a lot of reasons. one being that she wasn’t all that great at it, but she wasn’t gonna tell emmy that. “okay then.” she speaks as if she’s about to cut up the floor.

When she said make herself at home, she expected the girl to just take a seat on the couch. But that was far from what she did. She made her way around the apartment as if she owned the place. Emmaline followed behind her quickly, “You can make yourself comfortable on it.”

“if you insist.” tia stretches herself on the bed, patting a spot for emmy to sit beside her. “i kinda like this. your place. it’s cute.”

“I wanted to get you something though,” Emmaline didn’t get her something huge, but she wanted to be sure she got something that’d make her smile.  She turned around so Tia could slide the necklace around her neck.

tia placed and fixed the necklace around emmy’s neck, a small smile on her lips as she moves to face emmy and see just how good money looks on her. though, it wasn’t really about how many 0′s were on the necklace, but how well emmy liked the gift. “you’re...” tia sighed contently, pushing a small strand of hair out of emmy’s face, “way more than what i deserve.”

She nodded as Tia spoke so highly about the play the school was putting on. She glanced up, she didn’t know if she would audition, hell she didn’t believe she could get a part even if she did audition, let alone this Ivy character that Tia spoke of. She tilted her head, “I’ll take whatever they want to give me – if I audition.”

“it’ll be great. most of the productions are.” she answered smugly, “don’t tell me you’re scared.”
