hi, i'm teller (like, the teller of tales! ♫) and this is my cdd help blog. feel free to "take a ticket" and put in a request! here are the services i offer:

➢ "help a fragment"

a "pack" containing names, nicknames, and optionally gender / sexuality and role terms. please note this is not the assignment of a role, but just me helping to find terms you may not already be aware of. i cannot provide identity / role terms if you do not provide me with information on what you'd like them to refer to!

➢ name packs

does what it says on the tin! feel free to give me anything as inspiration, or a specific meaning / sound / etc that you'd like names to contain / follow. please note I will only be able to provide names from languages I'm generally familiar with!

➢ role coining

just give me a little information on the term you'd like coined, and I'll do my best to make it! (please note I won't do recoins, at least not intentionally! so I will have a look and see if I can find an existing term first, if you're not sure).

➢ general asks also ok!

I will do my best to provide information where I can but where I cannot find a good source for something I may well just say I don't know.

cdd systems (or questioning cdd systems)! this means I will not coin endo-focused terms, and admin is anti-endo. however, outside of TRASH, the blog does not have a specific DNI - so pro-endo cdd systems are equally welcome to use my terms, and etc.

➢ cuckootype

cuckootype is a term for alters who hold trauma related to feeling like, or being convinced that one is, intrinsically different, evil, or "stealing" a metaphorical or literal thing from others by being "bad" or undeserving of it. this could be something intangible like grace, attention, or something concrete like food or money.

i coined this specifically with organised religious trauma in mind, but there is no "wrong" way to use it if you feel it applies to you.

i do not believe there was an equivalent older -kid term, though!

I don’t think there’s a term for this, Dan you do a term for an introject who does evil/morally bad things in-source but isn’t evil/morally bad once introjected?

a term for an introject whose source is malicious, morally bad, or evil, but whose actual behaviour or true nature is virtuous or not akin to their source.

➢ trauma absorber

a trauma absorber is a part/alter who will switch in to "absorb" the memories and emotions of a situation which is actively distressing/traumatic.

trauma absorbers typically are also trauma holders for the memories from situations they have "absorbed" from other parts.

➢ flag:

soft blue and greens to indicate the illusion of peace/calm left for other parts

reds and oranges underneath to indicate the true emotional toll or difficulty of this role

pillows to represent an "absorber" - as they're capable of "absorbing" or dampening force and impact.
