Brittle Stars ….these creepy looking critters are related to starfish and there are over known species 2000 species - They do not have eyes but are still able to sense light, chemicals in the water and even smells !! http://www.tidaltao.com

The Frilled Shark, not getting much over 2m long is a living fossil and one of the least seen shark species, possibly because it can live at depths in excess of 1000m.

Yet another good reason to stop randomly taking life out of the oceans. The water in each tank was taken from the same body of water at the same time. The only difference is that one tank also contains oysters. A single adult oyster can filter and clean up to 50 gallons of water every day.

Can anyone identify this crab? And have you ever looked at coral in detail? Coral reefs provide habitat, food and protection to over 25% of the worlds fish species and millions of humans rely on coral reef fish for food. That's not all, without coral reefs, our coast won't be protected from erosion and wave damage.
