Axis' treatment in not only the fandom but also the story makes me so sick, people don't understand how gutwrenching it is to have your favourite character be shunned and forgotten by the characters, story and fanbase

Axis deserved so much better, he's the reason why the story happens and yet people neglect him because they see him as nothing but comedic relief

I think too long about Axis in the uty vengeance route and i start to get emotional. like.

Dalv, Martlet, Starlo, Ceroba. They all had people who would miss them. People who would realize what had happened when they vanish. Starlo and Ceroba had close friends and a whole town that knew them. Martlet was a royal guard, undyne would piece together what happened to her in a second. Even Dalv had the shopkeeper from honeydew resort as someone who would miss him.

But Axis? He had nobody. The steamworks was abandoned. His creator was dead. The last person alive who could've known him as anything other than a decrepit machine was Ceroba, and you murdered her.

And he fights you. He doesn't go down easy like most. He tricks you, and he runs, and he evacuates everyone he can. And then he puts himself between you and the exit.

He knows he can't win. But he doesn't make it easy for you. For all that Axis is played for comic relief, hes still one hell of a fighter. He was MADE to fight you. He hits harder than anyone but the final boss, and he pulls out some wicked attack patterns. Nothing you do can hurt him until the end. The battle may only last for ten turns but it is NOT easy.

And what hurts the most is that nobody knows. Nobody knows that at that very moment, their fate was being decided by a single forgotten robot that had placed himself between you and the rest of the underground. Nobody knows how hard he fought for them.

Nobody mourns him when its not enough.

Back on my bullshittt

I needed to draw fluff of them or else. AUGH. I MISS THEM. Anyhow... this is mostly based off of the fact I figure after Everything, wouldn't it be scary to be Alone? Like if that person you know walks off, if they leave your view, they'll never come back. Or maybe You'll never come back. I think it makes sense for them to not want to leave each other sights after it all. Just In Case.

I wish more people got this because some ‘low-empathy’ people are the most compassionate and sympathetic in the universe, and I hate it when that’s taken to mean ‘unfeeling and probably hostile’ when nothing could be further from the truth

Posts like this make me feel so much better. It always seems like society treat responses to others pain as though empathy is the most important kind. I am around 85% compassionate and this post helped me not feel like I am a monster because of that for once.

Tengolfkel is one of my favorite things but only my specific version of it where Golfball is aroace and more like a queer platonic partner to the other two

Tennis Ball and Nickel get to be freaks though and make out in the other room while Golfball continues her scientific studies and waits for them to come back to help. Nickel helps by being the test subject and he couldn’t be happier
