:・゚🌪️┇Funny he did not foresee this. Not so much that he did not, moreso he did not look for it as per habit. Despite his new status as Time Keeper, he often forgets the Elder Gods had been removed, and he’d yet to re-instill them — and he was in no hurry. Their rules would not abide to him. They would, in fact, bow to him, but he knew it would not be so for the lesser deities, trapped by these rules.
One of these rules was that the lesser Gods were forbidden from offspring, most likely because it was easier to keep control on them. But now they are no more, and these rules do not encompass them any longer. Stunned, but happy, he deposits Tui La to her feet slowly, with care.
❝I am… I am going to be a father….❞, his voice breaks. Something inside him like a flood overtaking. His own eyes sting with the upcoming torrent — and slowly, the Time Keeper drops to his knees, his arms wrapping around her waist as he rests his ear and cheek to her belly. ❝You have made me the happiest I could ever hope for….❞
With the chaos with all that has happened. With Fujin’s new status - Tui La was honestly happy that she had surprised him. Even as it came to a surprise to her. Fujin had once shared that when he gazed upon the timelines. Their paths often crossed, as if it was destiny. Race, gender, realm, and faith. They found each other and that was truly touching. Soul mates and bound by the red string of fate for as long as stars do shine.
Tui La could not gather her words as he placed her back on her feet. His ear and cheek to her belly as her hand came to rest on top of his head. Stroking his hair as her tears continued to fall. Yet in her heart she still felt fear. There was always a chance that this happiness would not last. Could she carry this joy to term? Or their powers overwhelm the growing baby? No, no, she could not allow that fear to grasp her heart.
“My soul sings, my heart. I...I never had thought I would be a mother again. Please, did not gaze ahead and spoil the surprise. I do not wish to know if its a girl or boy.”
Never get discouraged about your writing. It’ll only get better. I personally love it. This comes from someone who just started writing again, after stopping for a year or so.
// aww thank you so much anon~ (っ・∀・)っ
I’m sorry that I’m just now replying to this and I’m really glad you enjoy my writing. It made me smiling seeing this. I was in a little bit of a fog but the haze is lifting. I felt down and unmotivated like there was this block. I would love to write with you or simply chat if you are comfortable.
*hugs*
// god why does my writing feel so bad. I feel like I have no motivation and I hate it

What is different?
Tuī lā name in this verse is Yuè nà which is her original mortal name in her main verse. She is not the Water Goddess but is the wife/lover of the Water God Shuǐ lóng. He like in her main verse can turn into a dragon yet his coloring is gold. Yuè nà is not blind and has heterochromia (one is brown and the other crystalline blue) and her hair is black. Shipping in this verse is open (polygamous). Yuè nà’ aging is slowed dramatically.
Yuè nà is a sorceress and will use other elements other than water. She lives in Earthrealm and not in the heavens.

She stood to bar his way. Allow time for Shuǐ lóng to recover for as long as she could. Yue Na may be mighty, but she was no god. What stood before her was a shell of a once great man. His mind now consumed by whatever madness Onaga had inflicted upon him. A part of her already died when Raiden fell and she would not allow him to kill her heart - her beloved. Brows furrow at his words. Black Sun? Whale in the sky? He speaks of disaster, but she had divine so such warning within the waters. Nor did foresee his fall...
Yue Na’s mismatch stare of brown and blue was unwavering. Has she not been cast aside at her birth she would have been a deadly and feared woman. Long dead at this point. but that was not to be, found and raised by a couple that could not have children. The village elders had foretold that her blue eye was a symbol of good fortune and luck. Yet Lady Yue Na’s fortune was awash with pain and sorrow.
“I will not allow you to murder my husband, Fujin.” Yue Na’s voice amplified by magic. Arms rose from her side as her feet left the stone steps. Hovering as she gathered her power, eyes glowing blue as orbs of water formed all around them. Lances of spears formed and spun around her like a protective shield. “Cease this madness, my friend. The waters can purify your mind. Allow me to help you.”

akari-kiyama:
The gardens were always beautiful this time of year, from the small budding greens erupting from the dirt, to the beautifully tinted leaves that resided upon the trees- standing tall as the mountains themselves. It was hard for the young woman not to fall helplessly in love with her surroundings, the meadow that just fell at the end of the temple’s gardens.
A deep sigh fell from pale lips, body sinking into the lush grass, fingertips grazing over the blades the poked through ebony strands. Eyes fell behind closed lids, resting within the suns warm rays, mind wandering to more simpler days- if such was a thing. Truthfully she didn’t expect for anyone to find this place, to stumble into it like she had many years ago, when she first made home within the sky temple.
Soft breaths fell, hair spread out whilst Akari laid there in complete stillness, one may even think she had fallen asleep, but rest assure she did not- simply embracing the calmness, soothing sensations, completely unaware of another’s presence.
“Nature brings such tranquility to the soul.” Tui La said softly, trying not to startle the temple herbalist. A smile rested on the water goddess’s lips. Head bowed yet eyes unseeing, covered by a white ridden of fabric. She was dressed in robes of light blues and white with golden embroideries of dragons and flowers. “Bird song and the rustling of leaves is a soothing melody. I do apologize if I have startled you.”
Tui La knew all the best places to reflect and mediate within the grounds of the Sky Temple. While she could no longer appreciate the beauty of its gardens, meadows and mountains. She knew of what they looked like a long time ago. Beautiful and breath taking. A memory close to her heart. Even within her temple - The Water Temple - Tui La could still recall the color of the flowers in her most favorite garden near the Pool of Purity.
“I do not believe we were properly introduced. I am Tui La. Raiden has spoke so highly of you.” Tui La said as she bowed in respect. It was truly an honor to meet such a talented young woman.

:・゚🌪️┇ ❝I do not need saving, Tui La — do you not see?❞ Fujin advances on her, his features once so soft now uncharacteristically dark with upset. The bloody kusanagi hangs at his side — indicator of more harm to come — until the portal opens beneath her and Raiden. Swallows them away. ❝TUI LA❞, enraged now, teeth gritting beneath pursed lips, her name is spat like a piqued curse from the devil. His hand presses to the bloody mess on the floor — his heart thuds in his ears, veins pulsing angrily in his neck. She left. With him. But he knows where they went, oh yes, knows exactly where, and she is not the only one who can open portals to the Heavens. And so he casts his own, tempests rising, and steps through.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The Lady of Waters pleaded, and an Elder God responded — Cetrion was a comfort for so long before another portal was opened and a being stepped onto the holy lands. He was angry, awash with a fury even the Elder Goddess felt she could not contain. There was little time to spare.
Tui La died next to Raiden, with Cetrion standing above them, already working to get their bodies away from the intruder. But Tui La did not miss Fujin’s words, the last ones that would haunt her, his voice distorted with acrimony and hysteric madness: ❝You are not getting away from me this easily!” *~*~*~*~*~*~*
❝She has awakened❞, one of the nursing ladies announces.
❝Thank you, Kalia, we will be there shortly — ❞, Kitana responds, only to note the concern in the lady’s features. ❝Speak your mind.❞
❝She is… very distressed. Weak, but disoriented. We cannot hold her for long. She is calling for Lord Raiden.❞
Kitana offers Raiden a quick glance, followed by an understanding nod before they set for Tui La’s chambers. Raiden’s heart pulses heavy in his chest. Every step he takes is leaden with pain, but he pushes on regardless. He has spent countless hours at her bedside, waiting for her rebirth — feels guilty he was not there when her eyes did open.
He enters the room as the medics stand aside for the Thunder God and the Kahn. Raiden himself looks disheveled, broken. His body is wracked with bruises and gashes not yet healed, bandages about his body for there is no Jinsei to heal his wounds in Outworld. He does not don his hat, nor his usual garments, instead wearing a blue yukata. He appears humbled, that with his silver hair strewn about his shoulders: no more a Demi God than the princess standing next to him.
❝Tui La❞, he calls to her, and approaches the bed, kneeling on one knee before her. ❝Tui La, I am here. I am alive. And so are you. We are safe.❞
Heaven and Earth...
Voices bleed into the endless void. Child’s laughter, musical chimes, sweet words of whispered love. Flashes of memories, fading out a thought and time. Life ages ago and bittersweet. Until the howling of the wind drowned out everything. Flaying every fiber of her being in the tempest as the nightmares came. The sounds of pleas, the wet sounds of metal meeting flesh and the deranged laughter.
Skies and Seas...
The motherly voice of Cetrion whispered in the dark. Soothing words as the winds howled. His voice drifted along the abyss. Talons clawing, ripping and tearing. “you are not getting away from me this easily!” No escape as her heart ceased. Blood pooling and mixing with that of Raiden. The Blood of Betrayal. The nightmares started anew. Fears became one, tangled with each other as the laughter of Shinnok and Fujin filled the void until...silence
Birth and Return…
A gasp came from her once slumbering form. Heart pounding as fear gripped her. Startling the servants watching over her. Unknowing of their presence as she sought to rise, flee! But a weight settled over her weak body. Unhearing of the voices that called out for help. Of soothing words that did not reach as tears flowed freely from the demi-gods empty sockets. "Raiden!” Tui La called. Fear lanced within her voice. Was he safe? Was he alive? After a few minutes Tui La ceased her struggling.
Her body too weak to fight anymore as she slowly came to her senses. Yet waiting for the blade to give her a true death. The words of the startled healer were muffled, as if Tui La was underwater. But it was the voice of Raiden that pulled her to the surface. “Raiden...” Tui La whispered. Cheeks wet and tear stained. Shifting closer to the familiar presence at her bedside. The only comfort in a strange place after a violent death.
“Are you real...please...not another nightmare...I can’t!”
from {x}
A rumble like purr came from deep within the dragon’s throat. Tui La did not mean to wake her love. The touch of his hands on her scales was a pleasant sensation. As was the warm rays of the sun that they bathed in. Many life times ago before her ascension. She and Shuǐ lóng shared a similar closeness as she did with Fujin. Shuǐ lóng’s golden scales were breath taking in the glow of sunlight. He had claimed that feeling his scales being scratched was akin to having one’s hair stroked.
Tui La understood that statement now as she soaked up Fujin’s affections. The end of her tail rising and falling back into the oceans tides. Curling in slow half circles before falling back into the waters and back again. It was an unconscious movement but one that told of her enjoyment. “Forgive me, my love. I did not mean to wake you.” Tui La said in a soft voice. Jaws did not part as she spoke as the celestial tune chimed peacefully.
Yet a light chuckle followed her words. Always the charmer, her love. A soft glow enveloped the dragon’s body. Shrinking in size until only the silhouette of a woman reminded. Hands gently cupped Fujin’s cheeks as the silvery glow dissipated. Tui La’s forehead pressed against his own before stealing a light kiss. Humming softly as a small smile rested on her pink lips.
“Is this better, my heart?”

Tui La did not know how it was possible. It should be impossible, yet she had felt the change. The subtle cues, of how easily tired she became. Before her ascension, she had been a mother of four. She knew the signs but did not - could not believe them. But it was true, a small spark of life, she could sense it within her. She did not know why she was so nervous. It was blessed news, a joyous day. Many times had she and Fujin discussed the topic of children. Tui La knew that Fujin desired most was a family.
Laughter came from the surprised water goddess as Fujin twirled them around. Had she been so frightened to utter the words? That she would wake from a dream? That the Elder Gods would somehow materialize to punish them? His reaction? No, never that. A hand caressed Fujin’s cheek as she returned the kiss. The Elder Gods were gone.
“You are going to be a father, my love.” Tui La whispered, her lips brushed over his. Her arms wrapping around his neck as she sighed, smiling. This time it would be different, Tui La promised. She would not add a fifth shrine, she could not bear the thought. The white cloth around her eyes grew damp as tears rolled down her cheeks. They were happy tears.
