the chapter opens with M. so first of all I'll say... M is so cute 😭 love to see people referring to them as such, AND that they're still using Luna's magic!!
honestly I'm curious about the dynamics between M, Marla, Lucas and Luna!!! especially because... is there gonna be some romance?? back then it was all bout marlucas, someone said M and Luna... hell... someone even said marla lucas m polycule???? but girlie just friendzoned them both by mentally referring to them as "my dear friend"??? 😭😭
anyway... they're so silly... love u M
as for the general outline, I personally think this was such a nice start, as it perfectly picks up from where we left, even with the two months gap implied at the start. there were even the mentions of Percy's novel 😭 it got a theater adaptation??? THE KING WAS READING IT??? 😭
I'm so curious to see how the situation with the bill with unfold, especially with such turmoil going on even after a while since the bill had passed.
it was lovely to see the main 6 again, and the council. can't wait to see the rest of the characters again!!!! especially my girl Luna!!! (and Nic... because I know there's Nic lovers out there... 🙂↕️)
also, I was especially happy to see my beautiful lovely majestic amazing intelligent superior queen Ulyssa... one single panel of her mogged the entire cast... i am BACK to reclaim my #1 Ulyssa Fan badge!!!!!
my og baddie Saph looking amazing as usual, too. love that the council got used to her being present in the room... like... shut UP that is your FUTURE QUEEN and you WILL accept her presence in the room. no other choice!!!!!

THE NOCTURNES... their names being highlighted nonetheless... those are Lucas and Luna's parents, aren't they?
I feel like we'll get quite some focus on the twins. I mean, unless I don't remember correctly (let me know in that case!! 🥹 I could always use a reread), they haven't seen their parents ever since they ran away from home, right? imagine how they, against witchcraft and now homophobes too apparently, would feel knowing that their children are a witch a vigilante and a trans man... 😭 yeah. something must happen soon. I can feel it... and I can't wait!!!

I am very excited for this final season, I'm so happy to be able to see all of our beloved cast once again 🥹 and I'm especially thrilled to know that my Thursdays and Sundays will be "hch day" again!! they've been for... what... four years?? that's so long... and to think that there's people that have been on this journey for way longer... (*´ω｀*)
