A month ago I did something that I didn’t think I’d ever do until I got the opportunity to train with the best instructors I’ll ever have, including my dad. To be able to say I got my black belt in AKDA RYU Kyokushin by doing a 40 man kumite is something I’ll always consider one of my proudest moments. To somewhat be a little more like Dad is beyond words. To be know that I’ve made him, my mom and instructors proud means so much to me. This year I’d like to ask everyone on here if they could give, or foster, this cat. Our old neighbors were neglectful to their animals and when they moved, they dumped this indoor cat outside. I got my brown belt. It is such an honor to be able to say I represent Kyokushin, to be able to train with and be influenced by some of the best martial artists I’ll ever meet and have my dad put my belt on me.
