Scottish Pedigree website & photography
John and Kate Dykes approached Tigerchick, looking for advice on how to get their traditional rural business online. Tigerchick were able to advise on everything from choosing a domain name to hosting, emails, SEO, design and photography. The site is a simple but powerful site allowing for the client to advertise current stock for sale in a blog like format. The site has a full CMS throughout.
Mortonhall estate website & photography
Henry Trotter approached Tigerchick, looking to update his website for the families estate at both Mortonhall and Charterhall. The site was designed to easily encompass the estates wide range of business ventures as well as incorporating estate agent like functionality to advertise the rental opportunities when available. The site has a full CMS throughout and is highly flexible.
Cleugh Farm Bothy website & photography
Charles and Catherine Bothwell approached Tigerchick to redesign their holiday cottage website. The photography and design of the site was to reflect The Bothy's farmyard location, where guests are welcome to help or take a tour to meet the four legged neighbours!
Thornton Livery website & photography
Duncan Hunter at Thornton Livery commissioned Tigerchick to get the livery business online. The website was to include a classified and news section so that the site would become a useful resource to the surrounding equestrian community as well as an online 'advert' for the yard. All photography of the animals, landscape and details shot by Tigerchick.
Poppleton House website & logo
Kath at Poppleton House commissioned Tigerchick to look at the logo and online marketing of her brand new business venture. Both the logo and site were to evoke the grandeur and luxurious setting of the bed and breakfast while taking on some of the character of the garden, the garden inspired rooms and the orchards surrounding the house. Eastside Cottages website & logo
Eastside Cottages Website is an intricate site with a huge amount of content in the form of text, beautiful photographs, brochures and other material to appeal to a wide-ranging audience. Part of its intention is to give plenty of scope for returning over and over again to the site.
Although the primary aim of the website is to advertise the holiday cottages, Eastside is more than just an accommodation provider. The spectacular scenery of the Pentland Hills Regional Park that surrounds the cottages coupled with the fact that Eastside is also a working sheep farm and its proximity to Edinburgh make Eastside a truly unique and special place. It is the holistic experience of the place through the seasons that we felt important to establish with the website design.
Online brochures
This is the second brochure Tigerchick have designed and produced for Eastside Cottages. This brochure highlights the seasonality of the farm where the cottages are based, which it is hoped will inspire visitors to come at times of the year they may not have done previously. Featuring extensive photography by Michael Rummey (of Tigerchick) the colours and textures of the beautiful Scottish landscapes are complimented well by the accompanying text written by the farmers themselves.
Treeline's online firewood shop
Treeline commissioned Tigerchick to design a site that covered both aspects of the Treeline business: woodland and forestry management as well as firewood sales. The firewood ecommerce shop was a bespoke piece of development implementing a distance calculator for delivery pricing. Tigerchick also did the photography for the site.
Development trust website
The requirements for the Gorebridge Community Trust Website were complex needing a thoughtful approach to the content management of site. This resulted in the site's architecture becoming highly relational - with groups and projects interacting and content accessible in a variety of flexible "discovery paths" throughout the site. It also makes the site potentially hugely expandable and flexible into the future becoming a truly useful resource.
Despite this level of complexity in the build, the site is aimed at being extremely easy to use for all age groups and encourages the discovery of new groups and resources for the user to become involved with. Tigerchick took many of the photographs in the original content. The site is also useful to GCDT in show casing their work attracting potential funding.
Portfolio website
We just completed a content managed site for Jamie Grant, a talented photographer/ writer based in Glen Lyon. The site acts as a showcase for both Jamie's photography and writing. It is extremely flexible, allowing for multiple projects and articles to be uploaded as well as a blog to keep fans updated on the most recent exhibitions and assignments.
Robertson Rural website & logo
We have recently completed the website and logo for Robertson Rural land agents based in West Lothian. They wanted a flexible site to allow them to upload case studies, news items and properties for sale. The site is extremely easy to navigate and through it's very powerful content management system it can contain a huge amount of information. This allows for flexibility and expansion into the future.
New website!
Just completed a fully content managed site for the team at James A Cuthbertson's Snowploughs. It is designed to reflect the bright yellows of their machinery but without being too overbearing. There is a huge amount of information in this site with many different categories and sub-categories of product. Through careful design we have aimed to produce a navigation system that makes it easy for the user to find what they are looking for but without being bombarded with too much information in one go.
Logo Design
We have recently completed a logo design for Bohemian Naturals, a hand-made perfume company based in Edinburgh. Work in progress can be seen on our facebook page.

Photographer's website
We have recently completed the website and logo design for Sheila Sim, a garden photographer based in Edinburgh. We wanted her photography to stand out and so the design of the website is simple, bold and effective. Sheila is able to add images herself through the custom designed content management system.

Online Brochures
We have just completed a super slick online brochure for Eastside Holiday Cottages. The online brochure is designed to replace all paper copies produced previously. Tigerchick designed the brochure and took the photographs. Enjoy!

We have just completed the website for Charm School. The Company offers brilliant hen nights ideas from Burlesque to 80's Disco. I fancy the Can-can, I would high kick (or low kick) with the best of them.
