PUCKLEBERRY CHALLENGES: week 10 (a scene from fanfiction)
“Hey,” Puck said quickly, reaching out to catch her arm before she could walk out. “I’m so sorry that they did that to you.”
“You seemed really concerned that your girlfriend used me for target practice, yeah.”
“First of all, Santana’s not my girlfriend. And second of all, I didn’t have anything to do with what they did to you.”
“Didn’t you? Noah, how am I supposed to believe that? You were the first person to slushie me at McKinley.” She stared up at him sadly, “I can’t do this.”
“Can’t do what, Rachel? We’re friends, aren’t we?”
“Secret friends,” she shook her head at him, “Noah, you’re the first friend I’ve really managed to make at McKinley, and you’re not brave enough to even admit it. Just like you’re an amazing musician and you’re too scared to let anyone hear you play. I should have known, if you don’t have the guts to let people know what you truly enjoy, how would you ever be able to deal with the ups and downs of getting close with an admittedly high maintenance girl like me? I’m always going to be a target to people like them until I get out of this town and make it in New York. I think that if being friends with a loser is too much for you to handle, then maybe we should just go back to how things were.”
“So you think it’s easier to just pretend that we weren’t friends before today? Because two bitches threw an iced drink in your face? You think that’s the better option?”
“I think I’ve never been ashamed to be who I am, and I don’t know how I can be close with someone who’s ashamed of themselves. Or someone who’s ashamed of me.”

What happened to Can't Get Enough?: The answer
To our dedicated readers: We would like to thank those of you for your support and readership. Can’t Get Enough (aka the Puckermen story) was a fun and wonderful story for the three of us to write together and we’re very glad that you’ve enjoyed it over the months. We know that some of you have been wondering why the story was taken down and whether or not we can send you a copy of it. Unfortunately, we can not provide anyone with a copy or access to the story but due to your dedication we feel it necessary to explain why: Recently, the three of us decided to make revisions to the story that you know as Can’t Get Enough, canon elements of the story were removed, names were changed and we submitted part of it for publication as an original novel. Well, it was accepted for publication! As writers, the opportunity to be published is overwhelming and we’d like to thank you for the support and thus the confidence you provided that allowed us to feel this story was fit to print. The story will be released under a different title under a penname and, due to contract restrictions; we will not be publicly releasing details. Please understand that this is a necessary precaution we must take. After the book has been published, we will personally contact our devoted readers in case they are interested in picking up a copy. It is almost every fanfiction writer’s dream to be able to break out of fandom and print something original for the public to read and thanks to Can’t Get Enough and our readers, we are now able to turn that dream into a reality. Thank you so much. Sincerely, GoingVintage, xMonaLisa & funkified

decide?!
kids from my school keep posting on facebook about how they believe Obama is a socialist and that they believe he is going to turn the country into a socialist state.
I've been trying to research things more so I stay informed, but everything I can find is bipartisan hackery. New York Times praises Obama. Forbes and Fox tell me I could even be a socialist.
I keep hearing Inigo Montoya from the Princess Bride's voice going "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
THE AWKWARD MOMENT WHEN
I don't realize I'm on my old Tumblr because the icons are identical.
LOL. Oops what was I doing on that Tumblr?
Bets:
Tumblr doesn't die tomorrow
SOPA doesn't pass
Glee gets cancelled before Rachel and Finn can get married
I find myself not giving a damn that you have an opinion.
Crab cakes benedict:Â before/after
So, I only scrolled down a little since getting in but from what I read:
Finn's dad is a zombie and Puck might as well not exist.
also, i'm going to rhode island tomorrow for the weekend!!!
Day 2: Diary of an intern
So, I had another really fantastic day at fishbat (the online marketing company where I'm now interning) as part of the SEO team. I got my company email address (so excited) and started off the day with four article assignments (every intern writes four articles, it's our main job - more on that later). In the middle of writing my second article, Eileen - one of my supervisors, asked me to help her by writing a 500 word blurb of content (content is website content, one of the services we offer is building websites for our clients) for a new client so that we would have some progress to show them - the team was behind on this. As quickly as possible, I did my research and sent in my 500 words on why organic fertilizer is a good choice for home gardeners (something I don't know much about, honestly). Â
As I'm finishing my content, the owners announce that one of our clients is unhappy with the results of our services so far and that we all have to write one extra article geared towards them.
After I submit it the content, I got back to work on article number two before Eileen calls me into her cubicle to show me a text message from Tairyn, her supervisor:
T: Who wrote home gardening? E: Amanda, why? T: It's very good.
Tairyn is the woman I impressed yesterday with those slogans and the head of the small department I intern with. Moments later, Tairyn - who was working from home, calls Eileen and asks to speak with me - she told me I did such a good job that she wants me to expand my content to include why the fertilizer is good for farmers and it will be the entire section of the webpage that we pitch to the client - I quickly bang it out.
An hour and a half, Clay - the owner - walks over and tells me he heard I wrote some great content which is a big deal for a starter intern and that he's impressed. He mentions not to take on too much - I say that I already have my fourth article done and am staying an extra half an hour past when most of the interns go home so that I can finish a fifth. In a landmark event, the boss brings the intern a cup of coffee.
I've never been so happy and proud. I'm literally doing work where I am able to write and be a part of something great.
Today we had client calls with the New York Mets and scheduled one with the Philadelphia Flyers. Clay told me I can sit in on a client call sooner than most if I keep up the good work.
Today was my first day!
At first I was overwhelmed this morning, my orientation lasted all of 5 minutes before I was quickly thrown into writing my first article. I'd been told that my friends who already work and intern there had said glowing things about my writing skills, so the pressure was on. My first article took a while, I scrapped and restarted a few times and worried I wouldn't get my quota (4 articles per day) done. However, I quickly got the hang of it and people loved some of my articles - I completed all four with an our to spare. The SEO department manager asked if we could all brainstorm slogans for a promotion one of our clients is doing and no one could think of anything, but I emailed her two and she loved them both so much she forwarded them to the marketing people. I started a fifth article but didn't get to finish it. Tomorrow I'm going to learn how to do some copywriting and some content writing (for websites for our clients). Very nice.
My mother's exact words were "You're over dressed. You look dressed for a nightclub."Â
I think she's wrong. Thoughts? You have 15 minutes to weigh in.
