⭐️ Punishments, isolation, and jailing do not work. Do not use them.

⭐️ Try to understand why your headmates do the things they do. Research where that behavior comes from, try to note triggers.

⭐️ Be conscientious of each others' triggers (front triggers and other triggers). Try to learn what they are. Never share them with outsiders.

⭐️ Don't try to internalize singlet-style relationship types. You will not fit neatly into boxes of siblings, friends, partners, coworkers, roommates, or lovers. You are headmates.

⭐️ Have individual headspaces AND a collective headspace if you can. You can have houses, doorways, statues, fucking trees, whatever, in a circle in your collective headspace representing your individual headspaces. This way you are all connected, but have your own spaces. Have a collective meeting space in the middle.

⭐️ Try to make sure everyone has a name. Even if it's just "The Blue One". Unless a headmate specifically requests not to have a name, of course.

⭐️ Headmates can communicate in all sorts of ways. Not just words, but images, emotions, internal and external body language. Be open to listen.

⭐️ When looking for a headmate's "age", you are really looking for: emotional maturity, ability to understand complex topics, ability to consent to sex, ability to cope with an adult life, food preferences, communication style, and headspace appearance. It is most often not a literal age.

⭐️ If roles aren't natural, don't seek them.

⭐️ Put clear, honest communication + understanding above rules and everything else.

❤️ Regarding romance: It is a societal construct. Highly likely not to fit your collective needs. Take from it what you want. If it doesn't serve you, let it go.

Some tadc theories since the new episode☆ Part 1

SPOILERS for episode 7 of the amazing digital circus!!

Warning: these are just my opinions, not fact. This entire post is just theories and you don't have to agree with them. Feel very free to tell about your theories and opinions, but remember to stay respectful!!

Let's start with "Abel is actually human"

Now this theory might seem like a reach, considering Abel called himself an NPC and his plan had a scribbled out bee in the corner, which directly hints to Caine who draws bees all the time.

What if I were to tell you that the first might be even more proof about Abel being human?

Let's remember episode 2, where gummygoo and his friends appeared. Pomni had to tell him he's an NPC for gummygoo to realise and it ended up causing him great distress, making it hard for him to go back to seeing his environment as anything but fake.

If Abel were an NPC and found out, don't you think he'd potentially also question everything and stop his plan, just how gummygoo stopped his mission?

My theory on this is that Abel didn't lie when he appeared as a human in the circus, with a blank design and no attention from Caine. He hid amongst other NPCs who are walking around freely, since Caine can't distinguish humans from NPCs properly. Abel kept observing the members and therefore always ended up in close proximity to the cast, but also to Caine, so when the time for Caine's plan came, he chose the closest NPC he could find, Abel.

Abel played along, letting Caine explain more about the circus.

Abel realised that the administrator passes and the buttons were fake, which made him ultimately decide to continue pretending to be an NPC in this masterplan, so that hopefully he could find more clues on how to get out, how to shut Caine down and so he'd be included in the next "Adventure", hence the statement "Can I get a raise". That raise was not for money, there's no concept or need for money in the digital circus, that raise was to become a more important NPC on Caine's side, somewhat like Bubble. Caine realised that Abel was attempting to get on Caine's good side to get more power, which explains why he said "you're getting too intelligent". Not because an NPC started requesting more money, that has no value in the circus, but because an NPC started requesting power, knowing where to request that power, understanding that the digital circus can be manipulated.

As for why Abel didn't want Kinger to be included with his explanation saying they crossed paths and did things they're not proud of, but by mention of Abel's name Kinger didn't remember. If Abel was a C&A worker, just like Kinger, they had worked alongside each other, but upon coming to the circus they forgot their names. Abel knew Kinger worked for C&A, so if they'd converse, Kinger would be sure to realise that Abel did too or rather Kinger might realise WHICH employee Abel was and what he had done, explaining why Abel said "We both did things we're not proud of".

And that was all for this theory for now, perhaps there might come additions to it, perhaps not.

Adrien is finally being treated like a character

So, I have noticed Adrien is finally being treated like a person, rather than a prop.

Spoilers for season 6

Before you read: This is my observation and opinion, these are not necessarily facts. If you want to voice your opinion, please remember to stay respectful and considerate.

I watched the latest episodes and noticed the change in how Adrien behaves.

I know it's partially because he now has his amok, but even before that he had a certain amount of autonomy and characters could interact with him either way.

In Grendiaper, when Ray and his friends tried to ruin Marinette's surprise for Adrien, by writing a nasty message under the pastry, Adrien stood up for Marinette and showed her he knows she wouldn't have done that, when he got the pastry.

In older seasons he probably would've just looked at the message confused and Marinette would have to explain and all we'd get from him would be "don't worry, I believe you".

In this case he instantly looked baffled, but not in a way of blaming Marinette, but knowing someone put that there. When Marinette tried to explain, he instantly showed he knew someone else did that, not only a weak "I believe you", but actually showing he figured by himself, BEFORE she explained.

In Vampigami, Ladybug told Chat Noir about the fact the new holder of the butterfly tries to find out their identities. In older seasons, he'd probably have found out randomly or in the middle of action, leaving him confused, but the way he's treated now, Ladybug actually approaches him herself, treating her as a partner, not just a replacable extra, as she did in the last seasons.

In Grendiaper, we also saw Chat Noir be the one who got the akumatized person to listen. Ladybug tried to talk to the boy and it didn't work, instead of standing around and saying "oh well, guess it didn't work", Chat Noir actually stepped up and was the one to get the boy to listen.

This is development that Chat Noir needed. He is not a replacable prop, he's not a plot device and he is one of the main two heroes of Paris. Many times we've seen Chat Noir treated the same or even worse than the "part time" heroes, before they were miraculers. I understand he was neglected due to the planning and to add the arc of him thinking he's useless and struggling with Ladybug, but it does feel like they overdid it a bit, to a point where it can be forgotten that Chat Noir even is one of the primary protagonists.

The arc of Chat Noir being neglected probably was to add to his character and show he has struggles (as if he didn't have enough), but with the execution and length it felt as if they just went "we planned the plot for Ladybug, so Chat Noir has to wait".

Vampigami was not what I expected AT ALL

Spoilers warning for season 6 episode 8 of Miraculous, "Vampigami".

This is just my opinion, not fact. Please stay respectful of each other when discussing opinions.

This episode was alot and I loved it.

Honestly before the trailer aired I expected Kagami to get akumatized in the episode.

We started with seeing Rose get her new wig and it does confirm more about the speculations the fandom had on her condition.

I originally was confused, since her hair kept getting shorter and shorter, since chemo causes hairloss, but since she kept her hair, I thought it was thinning and falling out gradually, but now we got to see that it is a wig.

I love how she and Juleka immediately discussed if a hair ribbon/scarf would suit her new wig. It showed that this aspect of chemo and the overall cancer journey can have its positive moments too, it is a sad and serious situation, but it's really nice to see Juleka and Rose have a positive mindset and see the good in what they can.

Prem had such a fun introduction and I instantly liked him. He's actually so sweet and I found it pretty funny when he referred to Adrien and Marinette as "Adrienette".

Ray and his friends were annoying as usual.

I like how they touched upon Marinette being scared of horror movies and being scared to tell Adrien, because she didn't want him to be upset they didn't like all the same things. I honestly saw myself quite alot in her in that situation, since I also can't handle horror movies, but am scared to admit it to people whose opinions I value lmao.

Their costumes were really cute, I liked the makeup and especially Marinette's wings with the bow in the back, as it was just so her.

It's nice seeing that Luka's absence has an effect on characters, not just in the practical sense, such as when Marinette visited him to use his Miraculous, but that there is true emotion behind Luka's absence. It's nice seeing Juleka want to have support from Luka, since that's not something we really got to see before this scene.

Also, omg Rose has a kitty section purse!

As the story progressed, I was shocked at how close Lila is to uncovering Ladybug's secret, having plans such as the locked door and the bathroom were things I didn't immediately expect. Seeing her run after Marinette from her perspective was also a nice new thing they incorporated.

Overall I really enjoyed the episode. Vampigami was a really fun villain and I enjoyed seeing more about Rose and Juleka.

I just watched Grendiaper and I have mixed opinions

Spoiler warning for season 6 episode 14 of Miraculous Ladybug, "Grendiaper"

Also, please consider that these are simple my opinions, not necessarily facts. You're free to debate, as long as everybody stays respectful with each other.

I just watched the episode and honestly I'm uncertain of what to think of it.

Let's start with something positive: I like how (in the french dub) you can sometimes hear Zoe pronounce certain words in a more english way, rather than french. It ties in her backstory better to her current self.

I also really enjoyed seeing Zoe live at the movie theater with André, as it dates back to when he told her he wanted to one day be a movie producer. It's a wholesome daughter-adoptive father dynamic, since you can see them finally have a supportive family.

Now onto the story plot itself. The way Ray and his friends (I keep forgetting their names) torment others and threaten Zoe makes sense with Ray's first appearance and it honestly made me feel pretty bad for her. What I don't understand is: How is Mr. Damocles SO useless in this matter?! At least he finally acknowledged the wrongdoings of the students (unlike with chloe, where he wasn't even able to admit it), but man, have some backbone.

Ray and his friends were beyond awful, so I understand why Zoe got angry. The scene of the three guys threatening Andrè at the movie theater made me so sad, seeing him defenseless (sure, he wasn't a good mayor, but we all know how much chloe and audrey contributed to that and since then he has proven to have changed).

Now onto the main part of the episode: Zoe's new suit

Her new suit is really cool, although I am confused where the superspeed came from.

I can't say that her doing the things she did was fully wrong, as I can get behind why she did what she did, but I can't say she's right either.

Her loved ones were hurt that day over and over again, even people where she didn't know them, suffered all from the same cause:ignorant people and bullies.

I don't think anyone would be in a clear and positive mindset after all that.

Zoe first went to get advice from ladybug, which is a good choice. She did interpret "helping" wrong, as her methods were not exactly something one would call heroic, but she had a good intention.

I think her actions stem from alot of impulsivity in the moment, due to anger and frustration. I don't think she should be judged too harshly, but I also don't think she should be fully forgiven, as her actions were not a lesson, but rather rooted in revenge.

Last note:

I like how at the end, when they defeated the villain, it was not Ladybug, who got the akumatized person to accept her words, but chat noir.

We really need more moments where Adrien/Chat Noir steps up and we're getting sm more with season 6, now that Gabriel is out of the picture.

Miraculous tokyo special is quite something

This contains small spoilers and it does contain my opinion, so please be respectful.

So... I watched the tokyo special halfway through and had to take a break.

I am currently in said break, as I am quite displeased with the special this far. I am aware it can change and I will finish the post, but these are my initial thoughts:

Style

The style was quite odd, it reminds me of a mix of pokemon and dragon ball, which in themselves are amazing, stylistically and story telling wise, however for miraculous it didn't entirely work.

The style felt quite low in quality, compared to the other 2 anime I have named and overall anime with a simpler style (for example assassination classroom).

It lacks depth, aswell as a good color palette that actually fits the scenery. They focused too much on appealing to kids they left out what it takes to actually make something that holds weight and depth. They could've used vibrant colors, but in ways that would blend into the world and not make every color feel out of place and too saturated.

I understand the studio is primarily a 3d studio, which obviously works entirely differently in terms of coloring (this is coming from someone who's studies 3d animation), however they could've seen where it doesn't work and where it doesn't fit and fixed it.

Storytelling

So far the storytelling has not impressed me.

It feels incredibly rushed. Telling Kagami's backstory this quickly doesn't make sense.

Many bits of her backstory are honestly not that great, as it doesn't feel like a backstory, it feels like bits and pieces stuck together in a "this should work if they don't think closely" type of way.

We get parts of what the friendship was, then the explanation how it came to be. Within that it's just random photocard-like representations of a "good friendship".

Their portrayal of anime and japan

As I have said I'm not even close to being done with the special, alot can change, but so far, their portrayal feels stereotypical.

We get the random anime expressions, that feel more like a meme edit, rather than how they appear in actual anime.

We got the gyaru appearance, that Marinette labeled as "yokai". Instead of kagami saying something like this just being a vibrant style and tokyo having many styles, she said it's just her grandma's friend. I understand not necessarily wanting to introduce little kids to gyaru this fast, as it is a style heavily involved in night life, but it would be nice to at least addressing that she just dresses in a different way.

The competition felt like a way of trying to have that "classic anime competition moment", but it lacked any proper logic as to why it happened in the first place. I understand kagami wanting her opponent to be her friend and her opponent (I forgot her name sorryyy) wanting to just have a good competition, but it felt more like a "look, we're doing the anime thing", rather than contributing to the overall setting (even if it has logical consequences to the plot).

Overall thoughts

So far I can't say that I enjoy the special. It's hard to watch and it makes me feel like instead of being a safe entry into anime for new people or just being this fun remembrance of the initial plan of the show being an anime, it just looks like a bad portrayal.

It feels like it's an anime, just to say "look, we're doing this fun thing, look, it's totally anime", not to embrace a form of art with depth and history.

Yaksi Gozen

Spoilers for yaksi gozen

I just watched yaksi gozen and that was such a nice episode.

We finally got a look at Chrysalis, we saw Tomoe's eyes and most importantly we got Feligami content!!

Felix and Kagami are such cuties. I loved seeing them together.

Adrien trying to make a surprise for Marinette was just as cute and I'm glad this was a topic in the episode, as we usually only ever see Marinette do something for Adrien.

It's adorable that Adrien also tries his best to come up with presents for her, such as the keychain Marinette made for him and he made her one and now this episode.

He's so thoughtful and I'm glad we get to see him like that. It's just wholesome seeing Adrien try and impress Marinette and make her happy.

Now as for Chrysalis. I find her design very interesting, it's a bit weird how it makes her look so much older tho.

As for Tomoe, I didn't expect to see her eyes at all.

I also felt shocked when I saw Kagami's personality in the flashback, how devoid of any personality she was.

I'm also found it nice how Kagami and Felix trusted Marinette so much to give her their rings.

God I know they won't show it but I would KILL to see Adrien's therapy sessions.

Adrien, on his 5th consecutive hour ranting about all the shit Gabriel did to him: Oh, and don't even get me started on the Sensory Deprivation Chamber.

His therapist, who by the second hour was wondering if it's possible to call child protective services on a dead person: Dear Christ, the WHAT.

Wreckless driver has an important message

Spoiler for "Wreckless driver"

The entire episode is themed around seeking help and accepting it takes time to heal.

We not only get insights on how the reasons someone seeks therapy can look different for everyone: Aglae and Milenne with phobias, Alya with family problems, Adrien with neglect, Max with autism, Juleka with communication troubles.

Max also explains what autism is, which is so important. Autism is perceived so wrongly in society and it's important to explain it and normalise it. It was done respectfully and nicely and most importantly: the show explicitly stated it's not something "wrong" with someone or something that needs to be "fixed", but that society is designed for neurotypical people and that neurodivergent people just have different ways of doing things. As a neurodivergent person this felt so refreshing to hear, after media constantly made us sound like a burden.

It also showed something very important: hesitance to therapy.

Both Aglae and Marinette showed that from different perspectives.

Aglae in the way that she thought she'd be healed immediately and didn't want to go back at first when she heard it takes time.

Marinette in the form that she was hesitant to let Adrien go to therapy, because she thought she could help him sufficiently and that a therapist wouldn't be necessary. This mindset and opinion is so common in partners and parents and it's good they spoke about it and explained why a therapist can still be very important and that seeking professional help is the best way, without deeming the loved one "useless".

Overall the entire episode was made well, respectfully and you can tell they made sure to portray the messages with respect and proper knowledge and research.

Finally we got neurodivergent representation in Miraculous

Spoilers for "Wreckless driver"

This is so nice. With Max saying he's autistic we finally got Neurodivergent representation.

Usually we see neurodivergent representation almost exclusively in indie media or it's only hinted at.

Now we have a character in a major animation series openly say he's autistic, which is a huge milestone.

I know this has been done in other major shows before aswell, but Miraculous has a crazy huge audience and reach, I don't think there's anyone I know who doesn't know this show.

Miraculous incorporating LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people, aswell as speaking of topics such as communication troubles (juleka), serious illness (rose), phobias (milenne, aglae) and more is such important representation.

It's rare to see such a huge show incorporate so much diversity in such natural ways. It creates a safe space for people to see themselves in, no matter which walk of life they come from.

Miraculous has alot of its own issue, but I need to say, we need to acknowledge they did an incredible job at bringing in this amount of representation and normalisation.
