The portfolio of a flop. 😭 In the process of updating and revising this portfolio, working on some new content, both digital and traditional. If you follow me, especially on Twitter, you know that I said I was quitting art professionally not too long ago. As a person who’s emotions and ego are severely tangled in each other, I find myself constantly disappointed in how little I’ve actually accomplished. I’ve been in Atlanta for almost 3 years now, and had 2 interviews in that entire time. While I’ve worked with some great people (you know who you all are), I’ve also had credit taken, others profiting off of my unauthorized illustrations, and have sold my self so short that I’m still asked “So...what do you do?” Anyways, I just want to take the time and encourage other actual artists and creatives, where there is no other option than to create visually or perform, to allow yourself the freedom to be pissed the fuck off. You don’t have to shut up and take it. Take a moment, restrategize - think what haven’t I tried yet? And attack that full force. Anyways, I’m back open for commissions and collaboration. My updated rate sheet will be posted on the @brattynoir account soon. #atlcreatives #portfolio #portfoliowork #illustration_daily #artdirection #queerart #queerartists https://www.instagram.com/p/Bmjp4ksH8_8/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=17zge26vt2ih0
