i would have enjoyed spending my life being a waitress in a cute little cafee if world didn't treat those kind of workers in lower human form. as if they did not achieve anything in their lives so they just got into that as a last choice.
i personally am so exhausted with things some jobs require cause as for someone in the spectrum, i find them complicated. i don't think i could do it in a big corporation or not like it's my dream or anything. i like being simple, i like that i just do my silly job and get some money that is enough for buying some nice clothes and books or going to theatre. simple and slow life like that would be enjoyable for me
i said this so many times so i think people are sick of hearing it and probably think i'm a fcking lazy loser (not wrong maybe) but i really can't see myself fitting this world which is controlled by the fast paced economy/capitalism. like sorry but what's the point of graduating and struggling under some dumbass and waiting for my day off and begging for some promotion. or building my own space and being that dumbass to others, to feel achieved smth? i suppose? or refusing this future planned for me already, and being that loser still live with her parents and work in that little cafe in the corner. only to see my friends pitying me. lol. literally what's the point
“He recognised the faces, the colours, the perfumes... his house... but he didn't know the language. He wanted to sing the revolution, but he couldn't speak his mother's language. Then he started going through the popular districts... the fields, the fishermen's villages, noting the words that he heard, and paying for those that he heard for the first time.”
The news spread everywhere: “The poet buys words!”
“What can a poet do? Sing the revolution, cry over the dead, invoke the lost face of freedom.”
my heart feels so low with every palestine news, literally can’t breath. but i also feel like i’m not entitled to feel what i feel because it’s disrespectful for people going through it right now. and i know it’s a privileged to turn off the wifi and continue my daily life like nothing’s happening but i have to. i have to protect my mental health too. it feels unfair and fake but what can i do more.

Colonialism is not a thinking machine, nor a body endowed with reasoning faculties. It is violence in its natural state, and it will only yield when confronted with greater violence.

''Asimilasyon, haklı nedenlere dayanmayarak hakim güçlerin bir ulusu kendi hakim kültürü içerisinde eriterek, özümleyerek ortadan kaldırma süreçlerinin tümüne denir. Amaç, ezilen halkın ulusal benliğini güçsüz bırakmak, zedelemek, o ulusun dilini, kültürünü, geleneklerini, ulusal kurumlarını, kısacası o ulusun ulus olmasını sağlayan yani başka uluslardan farklılıklar gösteren tüm değerini ortadan kaldırmaktır; yani insanı bir kültürel varlık olarak öldürmek, kendi değerleriyle donatmak, onu kendi istekleri doğrultusunda yeniden eğitmek, kendine katmak olarak bilinen asimilasyon süreçleri, bugün özellikle Türkiye'de Kürt halkını ortadan kaldırmak, tarihin sayfalarından silmek için geliştirilen yoğun çabalardır.''
