pettigrins:
Peter gasped softly, his eyes growing big and cheeks growing pink. “No!” he exclaimed at Tilden’s ramblings. “No, no, I was just…I was just saying! If you were sick, I got stuff, yeah? I, uh, you don’t look sick. I’m sorry, I just, I just assumed.” The students nearby began groaning and rolling their eyes.
Tilden is confused, and is standing there with an open mouth scratching the back of his head for a couple of seconds. “Oh,” he says, dumb, and blinks a couple of times. “Well, then, uh, I think I’m good. Thank you for...offering. It’s really kind of you.” Tilden has been so busy with talking to Peter that he has no idea what’s going on in the match. He notices some dirt on Peter’s shoulder. “Uh dude, you have some dirt on your shoulder. I can brush it off if you want? I don’t think you’ll reach it yourself.”
