Great news everyone! 4 of my favorite artists are coming down to play our local skate shop, Curve on Deptford High Street on Bank Holiday Sunday May 29th. Tickets are £5 from THIS HYPERLINK TICKET LINK HERE! There will be a bar where the profits from your drinking will go to CALM Zone, as will 10% of your ticket, I believe there will be a raffle for CALM Zone too but we’re still sorting that out.

TTW presents an intimate and enchanting show in the Vinyl Deptford basement, with Perkie, James Choice and The Bad Decisions and Me Rex.

Perkie, the undeniable queen of keyboard indie punk, is hitting this rad little record store basement with full band accompaniment from Austrias answer to The Weakerthans, James Choice and The Bad Decisions, featuring Astbury Castle golden boy Micky Dey. Support will be from James Choice & the Bad Decisions and dinosaur loving indie heartbreakers Me Rex.

Ticket link will be up in a couple of days, limted to 40 and cost £5 each, so don't sleep on it.

3 GREAT SHOWS coming up from TILL THE WHEELS!

Over the next two weeks we have so many great bands hitting 3 different venues in South London. 

First up is this Tuesday at THE OLD RED LION in Kennington. It's another donation entry acoustic show. This time we will have DIVIDED HEAVEN (US) and MARK MCCABE, currently on tour together in Europe, joining us for a big ole' sing songs. Supporting we have the wonderful LUKE GODWIN (BREAK UPS), JOSH CHANDLER MORRIS (ANTI-VIGILANTE) and our fave local lad CHAPTER 11.

Then this Friday we will hosting a couple of tours coming together at THE WINDMILL, BRIXTON. DUCKING PUNCHES will be kicking of their Euro tour in support of their new album, fresh off of tour with FRANK TURNER and hitting DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL.

Also we have the incendiary political melodic hardcore styling of WANK FOR PEACE from Angers, France. I played with them in Hungary last year and have been waiting for them to come over ever since. Fucking good band!

We invited RIVER JUMPERS up from Brighton for the night because they make everything better. From London we have the Clash/ Rancidesque SHOT!, kicking out the jams. Lastly, opening is a genuinely sick, Osker style pop punk trio from my endz, Norwich, OTHER HALF.

£3 adv or £5 otd. Can't say fairer than that.

Lastly, in less than 2 weeks on Saturday 19th July, we're going to try out a new venue for some really special buddies.

CLEPTO are back! Just coming off of another endless US tour and playing PUNK ROCK BOWLING with NOFX, they're ready to annihilate you and everything you care about with their distinctive brand of Arabic thrash.

We're really happy to have BABAR LUCK on the bill too. An exciting and accomplished a musician as any we've ever had on our posters he will politicise and romanticise you.

Also on the bill so far we have P.I.G (Perish In Glory), grunge tinted crust punk featuring members of CONFLICT, PERMA WAR, powerful political Polish hardcore in the vein of WHITE LUNG, and an old friend, ZEALAND, great acoustic social commentary.

We will have 3 more acts by the time the show comes around, all this for a straight 5er!

THIS SATURDAY AT ASTBURY CASTLE, MIDDAY. EXHBITION!

One of the more recent members of the Astbury Castle clan, Joe York, is doing an exhibition as a part of his uni course at Astbury Castle this Saturday. Here's what he has to say about it... "its an interactive sound art installation that allows people to explore a resynthesis of previous house shows and events from the kitchen by their movement in the space. in a way it lets you physically explore the "sonic memories" of the space. weras normally in a space such as this there's only static visual material to document a places history (posters, photos, messages) this piece brings it into the world of sound."
