Something makes you happy even though you’re not technically “good” at it? Keep doing it! It’s your happiness that counts

You want to make something but aren’t sure if it’ll turn out well or meet other people’s standards? Make the thing! It literally doesn’t matter what it is if it makes you happy

Have interests or hobbies that are considered nerdy or dumb? Keep liking the thing! Other people can get out if they don’t like it

The point is to do what makes you feel good, regardless of what other people think. Don’t let other people’s opinions get in the way of your own happiness

To the numerous anons sending me hate for not liking JK Rowling. Calling me names insulting me making assumptions and all that shit. Yeah that doesn't do anything. And it certainly won't change my mind.

She doesn't respect trans people. Her stuff written under her very lgbt unfriendly pen name is fucking offensive. From racism to more transphobia. And not to mention her love for queerbaiting. And she said she can just ignore porn being sent to kids. I'm sorry not sorry that for some reason it upsets you that I'm not okay with that kind of behavior. But I've made that majorly clear in my blog repeatedly.

I do not stand for or support hateful people. I don't care if they have good books or movies or what have you. I don't care. If they stand for injustice and inequality I will not support them. Stop sending me your hateful anons because you can't part ways from a hateful person. The problem is not with me.

From this point forward I will not be responding to any hateful anon messages regarding Rowling. You'll just get blocked. And yes, you can block anons. I have zero fucking energy to keep dealing with this shit.
