I loved peaky blinders series. Sam was brilliant as Mosley and I was looking forward to the film and hoping he would return. Glad didn't watch from reviews it was bad and they should have brought Mosley back.
Remember Sam being asked in Rome about his moustache and if he would be in the film. He said no and could see disappointment.
Well karma's a bitch. What a shame this film bombed!
Baby Sam's first blockbuster film 2011❤️
Sam Claflin is so good in the Count of Monte Cristo series that it's scary - I now need to read the book (which I'm ashamed to admit I haven't done yet) so I can get all of the details of the story
Have only watched this a couple of times because of the end😭 Sam is sooo good.
Just realised William Hope was police chief OMG Aliens and Hellbound🖤
And Antonia is ENGLISH and little like me at 5ft 1.
Oh to look up at Sam lucky lady.
Watched bfi interview Sam did for White Heat. A brilliant mini series of group in England from 60s through to 90s. Sam played Jack.
The interviewee said rare for a show to actor plays character over 4 decades.
However, Sam has done 4 roles where he has played character different ages.
White Heat Jack
Love Rosie Alex
Daisy jones and the six Billy
The Count of Monte Cristo tv series Edmund
Sam at Cannes 2025. Omg where has time gone. Cannes series boring this year without him!
Missing Sam soooo much😢
Missing Sam on insta. Last night watched the riot club followed by every breath you take. Needed my fix. What a rush🥵
Lovely photos of Sam and Dar on Easter holiday. Young love❤️
Beautiful photo of Sam and Dar with Luke, Margot and Pip❤️ mix of cultures. Love and peace🙏
No 1 in USA😍 No 3 in the world.
More Sam needed quality beautiful work💜
Sorry Vanished again. The scene where Alice gives Tom a lift. He says what a beautiful view and she agrees with a grin. We know who she was referring to. Gorgeous Sam🔥
Just watched Vanished again. In last scene of Sam as Tom he turns over and on back of his arm a new tattoo. Couldnt get a picture but it was definitely Felix the cat. Another Sailor Jerry tattoos. Love it🖤
15 years ago these kids were in a great film called UNITED. Playing the Busby babes. Such talent and still going strong❤️
Something I noticed about Sam Claflin's filmography is that he tends to do weaker films between bigger projects. Or maybe 'weaker' is not the right word, maybe I should say 'smaller'. This is not to do with my usual heresy and it's not to do with him playing a lead or a side role either. I mean like, for example, DJATS, Hunger Games, Peaky Blinders, TCOMC, Enola Holmes, Me Before You are the bigger projects, while Love Wedding Repeat is a smaller one. It's also why I don't judge them that hard. I don't really expect a lot from the likes of Love Wedding Repeat, so am less harsh on it, while I extend more criticism towards the bigger projects (as everyone has seen me do by now, lol).
Bagman, Book of Love, Every Breath You Take, The Corrupted, The Quiet Ones, Mary and Martha, United and The Lost Future are what I would consider to be the smaller/weaker projects. I expect All The Devils Are Here would be this too, if it ever got a release. Not sure where Love Rosie fits in. I'd say his voice roles in animated films count here too--Snow White and the Red Shoes and Charlotte. Watch the Skies remains to be seen (hopefully).
All those that I've named above are films. With all his limited/mini series, I think they're all big projects. Pillars of the Earth, Any Human Heart, White Heat, DJATS, TCOMC. The upcoming Lazarus will be too, Vanished could go either way. Peaky Blinders is, of course, a force of its own.
What do you think? Do you see it as well?
I love Sam's acting in everything he does. Stand puts for me #mycousinrachel #djats#bookoflove#tcomc#Thenightingale#theriotclub#adrift #oswaldmosleypeakyblunders and #bagman#lastnight in soho small part but hypnotic to watch.
He was absolutely brilliant as will in me before you but I felt the directing and story were not brilliant.
Catching fire and mocking Jay he wasn't in it enough. Lots of finnicks bits from book cut out. But that was along time ago.
Can't wait to see lazarus and vanished.
