                 she's learned to embrace her fears around link , learned that they don't make her weak , they make her careful . fears force her to think about her actions , think about consequences , about how she may be destroying or bettering lives ... especially her own . she's spent a century blaming herself , questioning her abilities , trying to pretend that she's stronger , braver , than she really is . she hasn't let her guard down in so long that she's almost forgotten how . but with him , she finds it easier .

                 there's a pit of nerves gathering in the pit of her stomach at the thought of splitting up . isn't he the one who said they needed to stick together ? ❝ but what if something sneaks up on you ? if you wander on your own ... who's going to watch your back ? ❞

doc appointment went well , just in a lot of pain atm and can't take meds until bed time . gonna vibe and do some early reading for my next class to get a head start .

quick head's up ... trying to be around today , but it's going to be hit and miss . i have a doc appointment to finally start figuring out what's wrong with my back ... but that means i can't take my pain med until after the appointment so that there's a baseline for the doc to see .

long story short ... ya girl is in pain and struggling to focus .

one thing i love about writing zelda ?

i don't have duplicate anxiety with her . there are so many versions of zelda written so many different ways and it really opens up duplicate interactions .

and it's just nice to feel cozy like that <3

The Princess. He might've not been completely educated, but he knew who the Princess was. Blue eyes set upon her as he chuckled deeply. She stood before him, for whatever she wished. He suppose she didn't need a reason to stand there. To speak to him. Though, he didn't much care for the royalty. He did his thing most all of the time. Sharp canines showed to her before he bowed before her just slightly.

"Princess. What do I have the honor?" he spoke sarcastically. "Need a lap dog to do your bidding so your hands are clean, hm?" he asked with a grin.

                 she may have been her father's daughter , but she was not her father . she was not too proud to know when she needed help , to know that she needed to find whatever strength the kingdom had to offer , no matter the circumstance . the world needed rescuing and that was more important than worrying about the morals of those who may offer assistance . troubles could be addressed once the world wasn't descending into nothingness .  

                 ❝ there are no hands to keep clean . the world is balancing on a spindle and it's threatening to topple into darkness . and once that happens ? there's going to be nothing left for you to snark at . my hands are already dirty . i'm looking for those willing to do what it takes to keep the world afloat . ❞

i like to imagine that the champions didn't die prior to breath of the wild , but that they were held suspended similar to zelda but cut off by the malice so no one knows that it isn't just their essence that call out for help from inside the divine beasts .

                 the call had brought her to beacon , a school that seemed to train the equivalent of knights ... leaving her to hope that perhaps the hero would be hidden among the students , more preferably the professors . or perhaps an alumni ? it didn't matter ... so long as she could find him . the sound of another approaching caught her off guard and she spun , eyes landing on a stranger . ❝ i'm sure i have no idea what you're talking about . do i know you ? ❞

i'm in my residency class for my doctorate , and i've become the official time management and organization girl .

i'm oddly proud of this .
