Okay I haven't seen any posts about this yet, possibly because stuff has gotten pushed to the bottom of the pile with all the posts out there, but the Flash scene is literally one of the best scenes I've ever seen in my entire life.
The pacing of this whole thing is immaculate, with the build up of them reaching the boxes suddenly going wrong, the immediate dramatic, intense, suspense-filled music that makes you sit back up from your horror and register that Barry has phased through the blast with the guitar solo for 'at the speed of force' providing the perfect soundtrack for when both the viewers and him to realize what he has to do, and then the agonizing superhealing, and the tears in his eyes, and the quiet rambling of 'Okay. Gotta go faster than the speed of light, far beyond the speed of light, you gotta break that rule, Barry, and you gotta do it now' that remains so in character while also being terrifyingly serious and nerve-wracking because he's literally the last person alive on the planet, the last hope, the last chance they have, and he has to do something he's never ever done before and sworn never to do because he knows that messing with time is a really bad idea, and then there's that beautiful slow motion sequence where his entire posture is so graceful and powerful as he builds himself up, electricity crackling and sparking, the blast of the unity entering the speedforce from ahead of him, the music building up with the orchestra adding slowly into the electric guitar's solo, and then the zoom in on him as he speaks to his father and repeats his words back to him because he's become what his dad wanted him to be- one of the best of the best, and it brings his character arc to a beautiful climax as it comes full circle and then he reaches the edge, and you can see the nebulae and the blast at the other end and it's gorgeous, and he runs and the ground starts fucking reforming under his very feet in that absolutely stunning visual, with the sound of the heartbeat every time his foot hits the ground, the buildings, pavement, road all unfolding behind him, as he turns back time, the earth reassembling under his feet and the nothingness of space below it, the colorful nebulae contrasting the grounding grey of the road and blinding blue of the blast, the small attention to detail when the electricity sparking off from Barry lights up the street lights as he passes by, the slow panning out of the camera so you can see the impact of Barry running, what he's doing, and then the particle by particle rearrangement of Superman, who they've built up this whole entire movie as this extremely powerful being, having been blown to atoms by the sheer deadliness of the blast, the way the blood and skeleton reforms as they show him being put back together, and then moving back to Barry who leaps off the forming ground into the air, all this light and energy around him, and the stunning way Cyborg materializes in front of him from particles to blood and bone and metal while the music crescendos and the beautiful last shot of Barry encased in lightning and power and determination, before he does the impossible to achieve what he was supposed to do and that one final triumphant blast of music before he pushes Cyborg into the network, having saved them all.
Quite possibly- in terms of CGI, suspense, soundtrack, build-up, acting, costume, graphics, sound design, immersion, storyline, emotional fulfillment, and showing the sheer raw power of what a character is capable of- it might just be one of the best scenes ever made.
