My partner and I (lowly Americans) binged the new series with the help of YouTube. I didnât think I would like it as much, as I was so attached to the original series, but it exceeded my expectations. Something has been reawakened in me; neurons that have lay dormant for years have been dusted off and reactivated.
Anyway Iâm too tired to write much so here is an assortment of my thoughts:
- âJobsâ did a great job at portraying everything big and small in work culture. Like the âblack waterâ and prepackaged lasagna, the soulless retirement party and mental health âcounselingâ, Yellow Guy getting fired after his hand gets crushed...not to go all Joker but itâs not too far from reality
- Yellow Guyâs child...
- Unemployed Brendon is me and I am he
- Duck Guy reminding us to stay hydrated or weâll have to go in the box in the ground
- the little pink goopy thing in âDeathâ has my whole heart ;-;
- Lily and Todneyâs brother is an iPad kid, change my mind
- the brain worms song was actually quite helpful, I may sing it to myself whenever Iâm feeling down
- THE COLIN CAMEO, MY SWEET BOY
- also my partner was teasing me because every time Tony or a replica of him appeared on screen I SHRIEKED
- never pass the podcast guy the aux
- Yellow Guy gaining eyebrows all of a sudden killed me
- Red Guy saying âIâd just like to go somewhere else...â and âIâm not going back to that house!â
- ElecTraceyâs whole design was so cool and reminded me of the robots from Stray, plus the synth bass in her song was very pleasant to listen to
- partner: âthe next doorâs gonna say âBigger Boy Roomâ.â (it says âBigger Boy Roomâ) us: OHHHHHHHHH
- Lesley...is she a mother-figure or a God figure? Or both? (also is that why the transport guyâs license plate said âLE5L3Yâ or something like that) (also also I really liked the piano melody she was playing)
- Bigger Boy Duck going toward Bigger Boy Red Guy after Yellow Guy asked them to experiment on each other...also them saying âI enjoy looking at youâ to each other in the dark...>u>
