“I hope I jinxed you, you deserve to be jinxed,” Diana teased. Honestly she would just love for Lucien to be on the other side of these talks. Why is it that the world always seemed crashing down on her. I guess that’s what happens when you are raised by at least one well-adjusted parent.
Diana took a sip of her drink once it was placed down and asked the waitress for a few more minutes. She wanted to get advice before she can actually enjoy scarfing down her waffles. “You’re lucky you opted out of going, it was fucking weird. He wasn’t just an asshole but an abusive one at that,” Diana rolled her eyes. Some people really did get what they deserved she thought. She laughed at him mentioning heteros, he had fair point. “So what- I look up her number in the directory and text her ‘hey sorry I’m a spaz?”
“ uh, i have gone four years at this godforsaken school without having any... boy troubles, i am not letting myself get jinxed. ” lucien has enough problems as it is trying to be the top of his class without having to worry about anything else. especially not troubles with his love life. or y’know. the lack thereof. he’s got his shit together just fine without anything else.
yikes. it seems like every single day that goes by is just lucien realising how god awful michael actually was. you would think it’d be the other way around. “ yeah, i’ll admit. wasn’t anticipating that. i knew he was bad, but i didn’t realise how bad. ” he shrugs. honestly, diana is the only person that lucien would ever willingly listen to love life problems. “ nah. this kinda thing seems like something you should do face-to-face, y’know ? i mean, come on. you said yourself it was fucking weird, so just tell her the video made you feel uncomfortable. she’ll understand. ”
