Absolutely CRAZY lore today
Ash stream started out on a cutscene telling us what had been happening to him while he was kidnapped, including physical torture such as stabbing and bone breaking + later psychological torture
Then we fade into him being in a cell, saying that it's actually pretty big in contrast, and writing in his diary everything he's thinking about, including
Which is crazy contrast to his early regime self, and to what Ewron had been telling him for quite some time before, always rejecting emotions as a weakness
Then he gets dragged around by fed guards, room after room of physical (tasing) and psychological (qsmp fed merch ad reads) torture
The feds made him repeat after them stuff that mostly boils down to "we're all you have, no one else cares about you, and you don't either"
Then a teleport noise can be heard. And Ewron's whispers through the walls, finally validating Ash's final hope
And while he's going through another round of torture, the Ewron, Don and Katie team send out Katie as a distraction to the feds, before the rest of them break in swords blazing with tnt, managing to actually kill a fed, and finally breaking Ash out
All of them escape to the Pantheon one by one, and they get a beautiful moment on the Panth's porch(?) of Ash tearing the hell up at them actually caring about him enough to rescue him, and all of them concerned for him
They go into the Pantheon office to actually have a longer talk, explaining stuff that's happened, and Ash the moment he's out of immediate danger starts worrying for everyone else but himself, worrying about them getting in trouble with the feds for breaking him out, and also especially for Ewron seeing how pale he is, despite walking around with a 5 times fractured leg
The regime is so fucking back
But the feds might be too
