Viktor laughed at the exhausted look on the otherās face, the grin on his lips large and his presence growing bigger and bigger the happier he became. Framed by the light of the dying sun he looked godlike, almost unapproachable, if it wasnāt for his golden eyes beckoning anyone-everyone to come closer.
āI have a way with animals- and plants, theyāve always trusted me. Funny story, the other professors here call me the god of gardening, I take it as a compliment.ā He arched a brow, āIām Viktor a professor here on campus, I teach biology and mythology- Do people not usually help you? Are you everyoneās errand boy?- You know, you shouldnāt let people walk all over you.ā
hermesā eyes widened softly as the sun caught the other just right. he shouldnāt have questioned it. of course he knew who this was and it terrified him a bit.Ā āoh um⦠so i guess iām intruding, arenāt i?ā he chuckled gently, not wanting to find out if the other still had their god powers.Ā āviktor⦠how nice to meet you. and if weāre being honest here, iām usually causing the trouble, most people donāt like to help in any regard.ā
āNo, no, noā he shook his head with each reply. Shifting the goat to cradle it in one arm like a rowdy toddler he pat Hermes back with the other, āNot intruding at all. If I didnāt want to help I would have watched from my garden and laughed- Iām kidding, I wouldnāt have done that, that was rude.ā He furrowed his brow and he yanked his hand back to his side, suddenly filled with doubt- a doubt he would have never felt as Kronos. But Kronos was gone, replaced by a man who seemed to fear the world around him. For anyone that knew who he used to be this was pitiful. āItās nice to meet you tooā¦uh, I apologize, I never asked your name? But I think the fates brought us together for a reason, you need a buddy, Iām your guy!ā
