“Good ‘ol Donald. Now there’s a reliable friend when you need one. The guy might need anger management some days, but he’s a great guy. I think he did a great job of taking care of his nephews. They all seemed like they grew up to be good, young men. Can’t say I know them very well but from what I’ve heard from Don they seem alright.” Ralph tosses back the rest of his beer and orders another. “He’s a good looking guy too. He deserves all that ladies that go his way. I hope he finds someone to settle down with and be happy with. Maybe that one girl of his will come around one day and the two can be happy together. Yeah, I really just wish the best for him.”

“So, how’s them boys of yours?” Ralph asks, trying to make conversation with his friend he hasn’t seen in quite some time. They both were busy people with work and such. Donald even more so having to deal with the triplets. “They’re like...adults though so I’m sure it lightens the load now. I have a feeling that they’re still a rambunctious bunch though that will always be a pain in your ass though.” Ralph flags the bartender down to order them both another drink. “Other than that though, how are you? Feels like it’s been an age since we’ve gotten to do this.”

The Snuggly Duckling was a frequent stop for Ralph, especially on the weekends when he didn’t have to work in the morning. He’d been drinking his beer, minding his own business, when the most gorgeous woman walked in. What was a gal like her doing in a place like this, he wondered. He’d had a few more drinks, watched her mingle and bat her eyelashes at a man behind the counter who Ralph recognized as the owner. Still, he couldn’t help but watch her. After another drink or two he began feeling confident. Maybe enough to talk to her? Yeah, definitely. He downed the rest of his drink and stood up, slightly wobbling but easily caught his balance. He may have been drunk but he wasn’t completely hammered. So, he walked up to the bar where she was sat and took a seat in the spot next to her once it opened up. “Pardon me,” he said, “but I have to ask. Do you come here often? I feel like I’ve seen you before.”

Drizella wasn’t proud of herself for how much she was enjoying the rare times she gave Ralph the time of day. But it was a nice little relaxing moment when it came to trying to unwind from a rough case. Tossing her hair over her shoulder she held her purse as she looked around the restaurant. It wasn’t like he was hard to find. Feeling a small smile come over her face Drizella made her way over to their table. “Is there ever going to be a night I’m not asking you out?” She teased raising a brow towards him. || @timetowreckit​ 

Ralph felt kind of bad that he kept accepting these lavish dates that Drizella asked him on. He should be asking her on a date of sort, but he could never afford a date like the ones she had taken him on. He was also scared. Scared to tell her the truth about his past and scared to let himself grow attached to her. It was tricky and confusing. He was tilting his cocktail glass around to twirl the ice around when Drizella approached him. He offered her a half-hearted smile. “Maybe,” he teased back. “It’s nice to be asked though. I’m not really used to that.”

Ralph hadn’t really seen Drizella since that first night they met. He’d texted her back and forth a bit, but was quite shy around women and didn’t really think he was in a place to be involved with anyone romantically at the moment. When she invited him out though he accepted. It was at some fancy club downtown that he was sure he didn’t have clothes nice enough to get into. Alas, when he arrived, wearing his best shirt, he was let in. It only took him a few minutes to find her but when he did he smiled small and approached her. “Hello,” he greeted. “This is...quite the place. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of it, to be honest.”

Ralph was only at the rave to keep an eye on Vanya. He’d only spotted her once or twice but hadn’t really gotten the chance to talk to her. Maybe she was avoiding him? He wasn’t sure. What he did know was that an unhappy looking Tinsley was approaching him. At the sight of her he scrunched up his nose then took a sip of his beer. If she started talking shit he wasn’t going to bite his tongue. He wasn’t afraid to bully children. Especially bratty ones like Tinsley. “What do you want, Tiffany?” he asked, knowing full well that wasn’t her name and it would piss her off.

“What the hell happened to your face?” (Tinsley)

“What the hell happened to yours? Poor genetics?” Ralph asked, crossing his arms. Truthfully, Tinsley was a very beautiful young woman but Ralph was not about to take her sassy attitude. He rubs the bruise on his cheek. It was merely a small work accident. Nothing that a little ice and ibuprofen wouldn’t fix.

He was tall and large enough to be able to hide her from view to others so he took it as an opportunity to kiss her. He was discreet about it and kissed her gently. When he was done he simply pulled away and smirked.

With bodies pressed against each other Ralph couldn’t help the hot feeling that was overwhelming his body. He gently grabbed Angelique’s chin and tilted her head upwards before pressing his lips against hers. His lips were hard against hers. His hand moved to rest on her thigh and he lightly squeezed. Ralph’s movements with her were always as gently as possible, not wanting to accidentally hurt her in any way. After a few long moments he pulled away, slightly out of breath. “I’m sorry, but I couldn’t hold myself back any longer,” he breathes.

Ralph thought this whole blind date nonsense was, well, nonsense. He didn’t date and hook ups were a rare occasion. Still, Donald had insisted that the girl he had set Ralph up with just amazing and beautiful. He probably was right, but that didn’t mean Ralph was excited. Ralph made sure the House of Mouse was not the location of the date because he didn’t want Donald eyeing them the whole time. So, he chose Tiana’s Place. It was nice, elegant even. Ralph arrived first. He’d only gotten a description of Angelique so when he spotted the blonde looking a bit lost he approached her. “Angelique, correct?” he asked. “I’m Ralph.”

“Well if you only have a few layers you’re doing better than myself.” Drizella can’t even remember the last time she had anything close to a sensitive moment. Let alone the last time she even cried. Not that she cared, but while the topic was there she had to give it some thought. Watching his eyebrows take off she laughed to herself a bit. Boys. “Smart man leaving me in power to call the shots.” Actually what Drizella preferred. She didn’t entertain people that she couldn’t just use for her enjoyment. Pulling her phone out she smirked a little to herself. “Uber will be here in ten, drink up.” 

“Everyone has layers. It just takes the right person to work through them and see past it all,” he said. He wasn’t trying to get all philosophical or mushy on her. “You think I’m smart? Oh, how flattering,” he teased. Ralph never really thought of himself as intelligent. He was more brawn than brains. The drink he had was barely touched so he was quick to start sipping on it.

Van knew she shouldn’t be at a bar, but she also knew that it didn’t matter because she couldn’t get caught. At least that was what she had assumed and after a good five or six shots she was having a good time, vibing, doing her thing. And then she spotted Ralph. Of course the big guy had to be at the same bar doing the same irresponsible stuff she was doing when they should have both probably just called one another. She was going to try and sneak her way out but of course someone bumped into him and she had hopped on the seat to stay away from the altercation and now he was speaking to her half-hidden face. She coughed, deepening her voice a bit and not looking at him. “Umm…probably because they need the business. I dunno.”

Ralph glanced over to the person beside him. It only took him a moment to realized it was none other than Vanya. “What are you doing here?” he asked, brows furrowing. “Nice try trying to hide from me though. I suppose that scores you some brownie points.” He nudges her side. He wasn’t sure if it was just the bar he was smelling or if it was Vanya’s breath, but the scent of alcohol was strong. “How much did you drink?”

“Thank fucking god.” Violet lowly mumbled to herself, completely distracted as she slipped out yet another hairpin from her hair. She was heading towards the Snuggly Duckling as all the ravenette wanted to do was go and get a drink after the day she had at work. While it was no surprise to anyone that working for Drizella Tremaine wasn’t exactly a picnic at the park, most of the time it was bearable. However, there were days where her boss can be in an especially cruel mood, and whenever that happens, hardly anyone within her office was safe from her wrath. And today just so happened to be that kind of day. Arriving at the Snuggly Duckling, Violet was just about to slip out the last of her hairpins to undo her messy work bun, when the door to the bar was pushed open and collided against her, hitting Violet directly on the face. To be more exact, it hit her straight against the nose. “Shoot—” Wincing, she dropped her hairpins onto the ground and cupped her nose.

Ralph was a frequent visitor to the Snuggly Duckling. The regulars knew him as did the bartenders. He was pretty certain that’s wasn’t necessarily a good thing, but hey-- everyone had their vices. He was on his way there and once he arrived he pushed the door open only to notice it collided with someone. “Oh, shit!” He hurried inside and noticed a young woman holding her nose. “Shit, I’m sorry. Are you alright?” He felt kinda bad, but to be fair she shouldn’t have been standing in front of the door. “You’re not bleeding or anything, are you?”
