Thinking about how Hawk in ep5 says to Tim "i'm not gonna wait for you" when he's going away to join the army, and how at the gala in the 80s after 40 years (in ep8) Hawk says "I'll wait for you" because now he's really fucking losing him and can't do anything but now it's late and it's not the right time, Tim has to go and he can't let go if he knows Hawk's waiting for him or if he's there for him ("make it easy for me")
