alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

Hallo nette deutsche Menschen of Tumblr, mein Britischer Kumpel hat mich was gefragt und ich gebe diese Frage nun an Sie weiter.
Wie ist Ihr Mittag-/ und Abendessen normalerweise? (warme/kalte Gerichte)
Mittag warm essen, Abends warm essen
Mittags warm essen, Abends kalt essen
Mittags kalt essen, Abends kalt essen
Mittags kalt essen, Abends warm essen
Und bitte auch schön weiter rebloggen :) damit wir ne größere Gruppe befragen. Oder so.
Mfg, eine Rote Beete
My British friends version btw falls ihr sehen wollt was in der uk abgeht von @blueest-owl he started this debate
There is a right way and a wrong way to do things. I'm aware. You've said that like 600 times. Didn't your mother ever teach you any of these things? No, she didn't stick around long enough to teach me anything.

I honestly don't know what the hell I'm doing. Whether I should stay or go, or where I should go, or why I'm even here. LEWIS PULLMAN as Cameron Cassmore REMARKABLY BRIGHT CREATURES (2026) — dir. Olivia Newman
Humans. For the most part, you are dull and blundering. But occasionally, you can be remarkably bright creatures.

This stupid exchange between friends has become a cultural icon.
This text thread brought us into a new age
Everyone’s like “those Germans have a word for everything” but English has a word for tricking someone into watching the music video for Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up.
English has a lot more words created for very specific phenomena! It’s not just rick-rolling. Language is always evolving and it’s super interesting! Here’s a list of hyper-specific/untranslatable words in English.
Some of these are fucking wild.
I’m having several big and complex feelings about this moment
