A quick introduction to me as a person :]

i’m Tini or Nick(y) and go by he/him! (Yes, it's a combination of Tiny and Nicky, no it's not my fault we share the same name)

This blog is gonna be about The Old Guard and mostly about JoeNicky since they apparently own my brain now.

I'm an artist and writer (I'm working on like... 3 fics and OneShots right now)

I don't wanna get into any (ship) discourse, so I try to tag my stuff correctly. If something incorrect slips in, I apologize in advance, please tell me so I can fix that!

Talking about ships... I enjoy and support Joe and Nicky switching but personally, in art and probably also fics, I'm rather a top!Joe person.

I don't know why, my brain feels like that's my preferred way and I'm not erasing Nicky to some "weak/needs protection" kinda guy. That guy can still kick butt all by himself.

I have read the comics and watched the movies and love overthinking this found family at 2am. (And yes, I like Booker. I do not support all the things he did but I still like him as a character.)

My favorite AUs are often Prince or MiddleAge based BUT I do enjoy Omegaverse with all that comes with it. And, as you may have figured out already, I'm an Alpha!Joe and Omega!Nicky truther.

Every time I see someone getting mad over Booker simply existing, I'll draw him being the coolest uncle to JN's kids (currently on the third sketch)

I'm done trying to be kind but people, knowing I like him, keep putting shit on him ಠ⁠ಗ⁠ಠ

If it wouldn't have been for Quynh deciding to go for the weakest of the group, he'd have simply stayed exiled for the remaining 99,5years.

I'm fulling blaming Quynh for screwing his arc in the second movie up if y'all keep bringing up Booker doing shit in the first movie.

Chapter 2: Andromache

A little sneak-peak for the upcoming chapter:

“God, your tutors really have failed you.” “Failed me how?” Andy leaned back, laying down on the horse while still sitting behind Nicolò as his horse continued trotting down the known path back home. “Prince Yusuf disappears because he’s older now,” she explained slowly but much gentler this time. “Older boys and girls… start wanting things. Physical things.” Nicolò frowned. “I still don’t understand.” Andy studied him for another second before asking carefully, “But you do know where babies come from, right?” Nicolò immediately looked horrified. “Of course I do.” “Good. Then continue that thought. I’ll wait.” Silence. A very long silence. The horse kept walking steadily beneath them while understanding clicked slowly inside Nicolò’s innocent mind. Suddenly, his entire body went rigid and Andy smiled at the back of his head. “Oh.” Then the girl bursted into laughter, startling the Andalusian for a brief moment. “There it is!” She patted him on the back and Nicolò wanted to throw himself off his horse, his face burning in embarrassment. “He…” Nicolò began but stopped, unable to finish the sentence. Andy kept patting his back mockingly. “Congratulations, Nicolò. You’ve discovered puberty.”

CLIFFS OF MOHER

it's ridiculous how these look like they were drawn by two different people simply because the first piece was a background study *sobs*

funfact: I found out I used a reference of the actual Cliffs of Moher for the first piece even tho I did not remember the name of the place until today. I simply wanted to draw cliffs back then. Funny coincidence!

Nicky was sitting on the edge of the sink, shirtless, and let Joe come closer with the same smile that still made his heart flutter even after all these years.

"Caaareful," Nicky said, tilting his head as Joe’s hand steadied the knife against his jaw.

Joe chuckled softly. "You’ll be fine. Just trust me." With a careful sweep, the sharp blade skimmed across Nicky’s cheek. Nicky closed his eyes, slightly leaning into the warmth of Joe’s fingers.

"Hey, that tickles," he giggled, trying to pull away. Joe grinned.

"Nicolò, you're acting like you have never done this in your hundred years of living: you’re supposed to sit still," Joe lectured him, cleaning his cheek and knife with the towel he had swung around his shoulders. He leaned in closer. "Seems like you slept too well last night, huh..."

Nicky laughed again and Joe’s brown eyes softened just from hearing his favorite sound in the world. Needless to say, seeing Nicky laugh was even better. And instead of finishing his small lecture, he pressed a quick, loving kiss to Nicky’s lips. Nicky froze for a second and then immediately leaned into the gesture, not wanting him to stop yet.

"See, you're not taking this serious either," Nicky shot back with closed eyes, but the grin on his face betrayed him. He knew that. There was nothing he knew about himself that Joe did not know at this point. Joe just shrugged, holding the knife away from both their bodies just to be safe.

"It's not my face that's going to look oddly shaven."

"Are you trying to say I'm gonna look stupid? Because that would be entirely on you."

"You're not cooperating!"

Nicky pulled him into another soft kiss and infected Joe with his smile. Joe knew how he'd have to threaten him...

"If you won't cooperate, I'll shave my beard off as well," he mumbled against Nicky's lips, his free hand wandering to Nicky's thigh so he could wrap it around his hip.

Nicky immediately pulled back and his eyes widened in shock. Joe and clean shaven? That's one of the top three worst things to happen in their relationship.

"Fine," Nicky sighed playfully annoyed and straightened his back as Joe positioned himself between his legs again to have better access to his face.

But before he went fully back to shaving Nicky's face sculpted by the Gods, he kissed him once more.

"I'm gonna make sure you wake up tired and exhausted tomorrow."
