something is a little different || The Tinker and Loki
âRight.â Loki paused, still standing arms folded  &  full of irritation. He had almost expected Stark to put up more of a fight over that. But then again, nothing here seemed to be going to plan and nothing seemed to be SATISFYING.
He cast a glance around as Tony began to work at things, the room full of tech and pieces of wires  &  things most of which he recognised but very few that he understood. It was only a few moments before he was bored just standing there and moved his gaze to what Tony was doing.
âSo what am I supposed to do, hmm?â He asked with a sigh. âHelp you out? Because if thatâs what those tin cans are expecting Iâm afraid they will be vastly disappointed with my technical knowledge.â
âAnd youâre always complaining that humans are âbackwards antsâ,â Tony teased without looking up. But after a moment he put his work down, looking up at Loki again. He could tell the god was going to be a nuisance unless he gave him something to do.
âYou need to at least look like youâre working. If you pretend to be doing shit then I can spend more time fixing the Manipulator. I can draw up some fake plans for you to follow if you want.â
It wasnât much of a solution, but it was the best he had to offer. âUnless youâve got any better ideas,â he added, more sarcastically. âI mean, we could even do that old-fashioned thing called âtalkingâ. Between the two of us Iâm pretty sure we have enough subject matter.â
