Have I yet shared with the peeps of tumblr that I have a passion for designing clothing? I mostly like to design dresses. I’ve also sewn my own clothing pieces and made multiple cosplays! I’m actually in the process of making a lmk Nezha cosplay currently :D

These were both me doing some sketches with a certain body type for NeZha and me coming up with new dress designs because I haven’t done so in a while.

I’m currently listening to a podcast for investiture of the gods, and I got inspired to do a quick drawing of li jing and little bitty Nezha.

This scene genuinely got me messed up because, as you might know, li jing is a terrible father that absolutely hates Nezha. When Nezha is born in investiture, li jing believes it to be a bad omen because of lady yin being pregnant for so long. He thinks a demon or some kind of monster will come out and is fully prepared to kill the baby.

Then, when Nezha comes out, he’s described as being this beautiful child that basically glows. When li jing is handed nezha to hold him, he has this moment when he looks at Nezha and feels genuine love and care for his child. When Nezha is born, li jing loves him. It’s such a stark contrast to later in the story when li jing wants nothing more than Nezha’s death.

(Lyrics are from the song DNA Guarantee by Kodi Rhianne. Li jing’s design is kind of a mix between 2003 legend of Nezha and LEGO Monkie kid. Also I gave Nezha a tail and pointed ears just cuz i felt like it.)

2012 TMNT Ninjago AU because I said so. Might post Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane’s mutant designs once I get the motivation to actually draw them.

Anyways, this little comic is based on the episode Karai’s vendetta (season 1 episode 21). In my AU, Nya takes the role of April (with many, many lore changes to the show because I despise 2012 April), and Lloyd takes Karai’s role.

It’s important to note that I have changed a LOT of the show’s lore for this AU. I have also nuked ALL ships.
