1. How did you first find out about age regression in general?
I first came across it briefly on TikTok around 2020 or 2021. I brought it up to my boyfriend out of curiosity. A few weeks later, I was deep in one of my usual research sessions - probably about something related to regression - and stumbled on it again. That time, it really stuck with me, and I ended up bringing it back up to him.
2. How did you first find out that you were a regressor?
Somewhere along the line during my research, I actually started regressing. It wasn’t something I expected - I just sort of fell into it and realized it was what I was experiencing.
3. What nicknames or pet names do you like to be called when you’re little?
Anything masculine, honestly. Outside of regression, I go by Neptune or Star. When I’m regressed, I really like being called Star. Marci, though, is something only my boyfriend calls me.
4. Does your music taste change when you’re regressed? If so, how?
Not exactly. I’ve always been into a bit of everything, but hip hop and rap specifically take me back, since I listened to a lot of it when I was younger. So it kind of helps me slip into that space. That said, I mostly enjoy rock - both in and out of regression.
5. Which fictional characters do you most relate to (or kin) when you’re little? Do you still relate to them when you’re not regressed?
My boyfriend says I kin Kokichi Ouma, so probably him. But I also have my own original character, Berry, who I associate heavily with my regression. Berry feels like a reflection of me in that space.
6. Do you usually regress voluntarily or involuntarily (or a mix of both)?
Mostly involuntarily.
7. What most often makes you regress?
When my boyfriend calls me nicknames or pet names - that’s usually what does it.
8. If you don’t have a cg, would you want one? If you do have a cg, how’d you meet them?
I do! My boyfriend, as I’ve probably mentioned way too many times already. We met six years ago and got together five, almost six years ago.
9. If you have other marginalized identities (LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, POC, etc.), how do they figure into your regression?
I’m gay, genderfluid, and neurodivergent - but I don’t think any of those identities directly affect how I regress. They’re part of me, of course, but they don’t specifically shape my regression experience.
10. Are you open about your age regression IRL? How about online outside of Tumblr?
I’m open about it online, especially on Tumblr, but I keep it to myself in real life. Not out of shame - just because I know it’s something not everyone understands, and I don’t expect them to.
11. What physical places do you associate with your regression?
Mostly just my room. It’s where I feel safest.
12. What’s something typically associated with age regression (pacifiers, babbling, Bluey, etc.) that you don’t do?
I don’t really vibe with pastels or the super cutesy stuff. I wouldn’t say I’m a “dark little” either, but I definitely lean more masculine in how I express regression.
13. How does your current regressed personality differ from your personality when you were physically that age?
When I was actually younger, I was much quieter. Not exactly shy - just didn’t like talking much. Now, when I regress, I’m more expressive than I was back then.
14. Do you use different pronouns or preferred names when you’re regressed? If so, what are they?
No pronoun changes, but I do go by Star when I’m regressed. My boyfriend still calls me Marci regardless of my state, and I’m good with that.
15. What platforms do you usually go to for age regression content?
Tumblr and Pinterest are my main ones. I’ll occasionally scroll through TikTok, but it’s gotten so toxic that I don’t really rely on it for regression content anymore. Tumblr is definitely my #1.
16. What’s a niche or unpopular interest you associate with your regression?
Space. And before someone says, “Oh, but space is popular-” I mean more than just the aesthetic. I don’t care about sparkly stars and pastel planets. I mean actual space - planetary systems, astrophysics, astronomy, all of it. It’s my special interest. I’m deeply educated on it, and it frustrates me how the regression community tends to reduce space to just another cute theme.
17. What’s your favorite color + something you love that’s that color?
Blue + Neptune.
18. Which (if any) fictional characters do you think would be littles?
N/A - I’m not really involved in fandoms like that.
19. Which (if any) fictional characters do you think would be caregivers?
Same as above - N/A.
20. What’s something you wish you knew about age regression when you first found out about it?
That I didn’t have to fit into the pink, bubbly stereotype to belong. I could just be myself. The way the community looked around 2020-2022 really pushed this narrative that regression had to be soft and happy all the time. That’s not realistic, and it’s not healthy either.
