avery goes by they/them && ze/zir pronouns ( i’ll use they/them in gif chats but ze/zir in longer things because imma be honest && say that i get suPER mixed up when they/them is in longer paras )
avery is exactly like their mom in the sense that they’re selfless && always offering a hand out to others. the only difference is that avery is not shy whatsoever.
they struggled ( when just being born ) with adapting to the whole ‘garden fairy’ thing. ( idk how the choosing of talents is since these fairies are born from other fairies instead of a laugh, but i see it as a whole coronation thing like a quinceanera almost?? ) anywAYS. silvermist was trying to teach avery the ways of the garden fairy && they were always so relaxed && loved playing in the water && with animals instead. but they would still go && try to be a garden fairy even though it was challenging for them
plants were never an area of expertise for avery and it reflected in the way they attempted to grow things. ever since they were young, it was always a bad habit to make plants wilt rather than flourish. the day that avery’s mother tried to assist them though, ended in turmoil and the loss of avery’s eyesight due to a rose bush and it’s thorns. it was a scary moment for the whole seung household and it was an event that made avery wish && hope that he didn’t get the garden talent that his mother so dearly loved.
when avery went to receive their talent, they were given a talent that didn’t scare them half to death when using it; the animal talent. not only was it a talent that avery would come to love, but it also assisted them with getting around pixie hollows since they had many animals within their fingertips.
the lowdown: avery is full on blind. they’re super selfless && would literally let anyone && everyone walk all over them

very self conscious about their eyes which are both glass eyes && both look like THIS ( <--- single / creepy eyes tw )
