And a finished rainbow set! This style is going to be my Pride drop theme this year. I’ll have multiple full sets, single d20s, and a variety of mini dice and chonks made from leftover resin from the pours.

Just sharing some happy rainbow swirls! I’m working on a bunch of rainbow sets for this year’s Pride drop so I’m currently surrounded by so many bright blanks waiting for their numbered shells.
I’m having art feelings, because toward the end of my craft fair yesterday a family with two kids I’d guess were in the 9-12 range hung around asking lots of questions about how I make dice, how I decide designs and pricing, etc.
They were mostly a MtG family so we looked at my spindown d20s, but I discontinued my +/- d6s last year so only had one minus die left. I offered it to the older kid who was asking most of the questions and he politely declined, because apparently I’d given him a free pair last year (what can I say, I love kids who ask good questions).
A few minutes later before the family left, the mom and younger kid came back and the mom asked if the offer for the free die was still open, because the younger kid had been too shy to say he would love it. So of course he instantly got the d6, but I was having feelings as a fairly shy person myself, so I also pulled out a spindown that wasn’t on display because it has a visible patch on the base where it had a void. I handed it to him and said something about how I hoped he would like it, and it could be a reminder that you don’t have to do everything perfectly to make art, that’s it’s okay to learn and experiment. He smiled and took his dice and they left.
And then the show ended and I packed up and went home and that was that.
Until this evening when I got an email from him thanking me for his dice and sharing that he made his very own die out of wood today.
And I’m just. I can’t. I love it so much. Keep creating, my little friend. And thank you for reminding me why community and mentoring in art is everything.
You all really liked the group shots around the lil campfire I made, so here are their individual pics!
In order of images from left to right, we have The Fox, Ame, Suvi, and Eursulon.
Characters are from Worlds Beyond Number, and the D20 designs are created and made by me.
Okay y’all, I had to do it. Enjoy my minimally planned, slapdash attempt at Dimension 20: On a Bus dice.
Hi there! Big big fan of your designs and your work. Any chance we will see some new Nebula dice soon?
Aw, thanks! I don’t have immediate plans for more Nebula style dice because I have some other styles I want to play with at the moment and am in the midst of spring craft fair prep, but they’ll absolutely come back — I’ll put them back on my to-pour list!
Dimension 20 on a Bus, season 2. This is not a drill.
I’m literally crying with laughter.
How can I make dice about it?
Y’all, does it surprise anyone that I am having a lot of fun with Critical Role Campaign 4 and so am making dice about it?
I adore Thaisha Lloy as a character (and of course Aabria as an actor/creator) and couldn’t wait to try to interpret her gorgeous character portrait in dice form.

Hadestown dice!
I really haven’t been keeping up with sharing about dicemaking here, but this weekend I’m bringing back one of my most requested lyric dice designs so I thought I would share with my fellow theater and rpg geeks!
The set is inspired by Hadestown and includes tiny paper strips with lyrics from Promises.

I feel like tumblr will appreciate my latest WIP dice blanks - they’re inspired by American Pokeweed!
The petri blanks are ready to go in clear shells, and the green blanks are going to get pink stalks either stamped or painted on before they get shelled.
If you want to see the pouring and unmolding of the petri set, here’s the video.
Updates in case anyone was curious how these turned out! It only took me about 6 months from idea to finishing, lol.
”I have this artistic idea but not the skills to achieve it to the standard I want.”
congrats! Now you have a motif! A recurring theme! A focus for your art! Something to haunt you!
Seventeen still lives of dandelions? Three hundred poems about grief? A sketchbook dedicated to your grandmother’s house? Two books trying to unravel the complexities of familial relationships?
Don’t let the fear of it not being perfect on the first try stop you from being Weird About It!
I will always return to space! I saw the original Hubble Space Telescope pictures at the time of release and they imprinted so incredibly deeply on my brain that more than 25 years later they’re still one of my artistic themes.
Nebula dice I finished in December 2020.
Nebula dice I finished August 2025.
For my past few craft shows I’ve had a policy that if someone rolls a Nat 20 they get 20% off whatever they buy. Obviously there are some limitations (you can’t just stand and roll over and over until you get a 20), and it takes one of two forms: someone rolls expecting nothing and gets the nat 20, then excitedly decides to pick something; or someone has already chosen their die or set and rolls it to try for a discount. It’s been delightful because it’s a game with no penalties (there’s no obligation to buy and the only risk is that you roll a Nat 1 and your friends tease you) and we can all get excited for a dice roll together.
This past weekend I vended at a Fantasy Renn Faire Block Party and the rolling was particularly delightful, so here are a few favorite moments.
- the first nat20 of the day was a man who used it to pick a single die, but his wife was still musing over what she wanted; she asked my advice on a set for her bard, and based on her description I pulled out a Popular-themed set that hadn’t made it onto the display. She immediately liked it, so I offered her the tray to roll. Immediate Nat 20. It was clearly meant to be.
- someone had looked through every single d20 before picking two and asking to buy them; I let him roll both and he got double 20s. Everyone within 10ft erupted in excitement.
- someone wearing a very cute fairy-themed costume and a mask did their transaction entirely through hand signals, then I offered the tray and they got the 20; they were so hyped I got to see multiple happy hops and hand flaps and even heard a soft “yay”
Basically adding the rolling to the table helps build instant community and I love doing it so much!

Hiiiii I’m still here and new dice are coming tomorrow, Sunday August 24 at 5pm EST! My dice making obsession for the past few months has been nebula/space dice so I’m having a rare themed drop! If you need them, they’ll go up on my site tomorrow.
We just accepted a foster placement of a mama cat and her kittens who were trapped by Project MEOW in Philly (our local TNR/rescue group), and she’s such a sweet, pretty little girl! One of kittens was dubbed Gwen by the folks who found her first, so we went with a Spider-Man theme for the family.
Introducing May and her babies Gwen (tabby), Miles (tabby and white), Peter (orange and white), and MJ (tortie). The kittens are about 2 weeks old, so they’ll be with us until they’re old enough for adoption, and May will be spayed and adoptable once the kittens can wean!
Cross-posting from my non-dice blog in case any of my dice friends are Philly-adjacent and looking for a new family member!
PREORDERS NOW OPEN
My mom lost her job and even though she got a small severance package, it isn't enough to last her until retirement, in 18 months. She asked if she could take over the shop, and of course!!! I want to help however I can, so with that said, preorders are open! August 8th 2025 is when we will be buying the supplies, and it will take about a week to get those in, and a week to make any preorders before they ship out, altogether about two weeks!
My car also desperately needs a new water pump because it is leaking coolant like crazy, and that will cost about $2800 - due to how our engine is laid out, it will require the whole front end of the car to be taken apart.
This preorder sale will both help take care of my parents and also get my car fixed.
