Hello!

It's been 3 years since I last updated this blog. For a number of reasons, but partially because a lack of motivation. But, lately, I've been tooling around with ideas for a couple of games. Project Tiny Game, the one I was originally working on, is back burnered pretty much indefinitely, but I have two others I'm playing around with. So, this blog will likely be a little more active. From now on, P:TG will be tagged, thusly: game: quest for almadien game: adventure game: original tg (for rare updates on the original) game: villains There'll be others, of course, but those are the ... things I'm kinda working on. I hope to have more progress to show and tell about later.

Thinking, thinking

I've been working on and thinking about Tiny Game (which, admittedly, isn't so tiny), it's been some months since the ideas have been rolling. I try not to think about it too much, because I have so many other projects on my plate (SM, Urbanites, the reworking of P:E). But, I've been devoting some mental power to it, and I've been trying to flesh out the characters and how they work. Like "T", whose name needs to be finalized (it was originally Toby, but I've come a long way from that point), and weapons need working on. I'm going to make a post about weapons, and the pros and cons of various types next. Just some stuff I'm trying to flesh out, really. I just wanted to say, yes, I'm still working on this if anyone is interested.

Name: Shian Otem Brashen Age: 17 Sex: M Gender: Man Height: 5' 10" Weight: 172 lbs Race: Merhian Place of Birth: Kall, Merh, Ozkuran (raised on Phi 8) Date of Birth: YPR 255 Occupation: Student Ship: None Alignment: Good ("Shit's fucked up, and I wanna help!) Languages Spoken: English, Ozkuran, Colonial Basic [Phi] Shian, along with his sibling, was born on Ozkuran, but later moved to Phi 8. He recently finished his basic education courses, and has moved into studying Applied Magic Theory. He has considered joining Lore as a merchant or perhaps becoming a spellweaver (something he's quite interested in). He is a primary character. What can Shian do for your party? -Cast offensive and defensive spells. -His magic concentration is high. -His moderate agility means his turn comes up almost as frequently as Lore's

Name: Pearse (last name unknown) Age: 31 Sex: M Gender: Man Height: 3' Weight: 42 lbs Race: Koala Place of Birth: Colony Delta 92 Date of Birth: YPR 241 Occupation: Pirate Ship: Black Death Alignment: Neutral ("I 'int on anybody's side but m'own!") Languages spoken: English, Colonial Basic [Delta] Pearse was born in one of the many overcroweded colonies (Delta 92) to Vargos and Myl, two low-tier workers. After finishing his basic courses, he took up piloting and took to running cargo ships, but ultimately taking to pilaging breakdowns and selling on the black market. He isn't ashamed to be a pirate; he rather enjoys it, actually. What can Pearse do for the party? -Shuttle them to and fro, until a ship is acquired -Act as a temporary party member -Act as an access point to the black market ("This Lore one, I like him." "I'm not a him." "Oh. Well, I still like ya.")

Name: Lore Xyri Brashen Age: 20 Sex: X Gender: Agender Height: 5' 7" Weight: 160 lbs Race: Merhian (Brown folk inhabit Merh) Place of Birth: Kall, Merh, Ozkuran (raised on Colony Phi 8) Date of Birth: YPR 252 Occupation: Travelling merchant (formerly) Ship: Alverun Alignment: Good (Good is subjective. "Look, I just want to make the universe a better place, y'know?") Languages Spoken: English, Ozkuran, Colonial Basic [Phi] Lore was born on Ozkuran, but raised on Phi 8, a small colony full of lower-tier workers (mostly merchants and smiths). Lore finished basic education and took to working as a merchant with xir father (mum is a weaponsmith), insisting that it was a good educational experience. Xie has an oddly strong sense of justice. Xie is the main character. What can Lore do for your party? -Lore's main weapon focus is blades. -Xir magic concentration is low. -High agility helps Lore's turns come up faster, maximizing damage.

Untitled Game

Recently, a tumblr popped up and I, like a lot of people, took notice. It's a little game called The Arkh Project, and it's not your standard game. Yes, it seems to be an RPG, but the characters are quite different. Most of them are POCs, and trans*.

This inspired me to start working on a project a long abandoned game once called "Final Flight", but as of now, untitled. That's what this blog is all about. Won't you stick around? Hopefully, I can actually follow through with it. I'd love to see it become a reality, even if it is just a micro game.
