"Uh...hi.." he said shyly.
"Hello there.." He said quietly, tilting his head to the side in a curious manner.
Atem giggled and then turned around and started to count. He couldn’t wait to go find the other! He was going to try his hardest to find the other as quickly as he could!
He worked to control his somewhat heavy breathing that was shallow from his excitement of having someone to play with and quieted a giggle as he heard the prince get closer to ten as he hid under the enourmous bed.
Atem continued to count until he reached ten and then he turned around and tapped his chin. “Where to look first?” He asked himself. He then took off to look around.
From his hiding spot, Yuugi kept as quiet as he possibly could and peeked out every once in a while to see how close the prince was and almost giggled a few times but kept himself silent.
Atem continued to look around and something told him that he was getting close to where the other was..But then again he didn't know for sure right yet.

Atem blinked when he felt someone playing with his hair..He looked to see who it was and then he giggled when he saw who it was. “Why are you playing with my hair?” he asked curiously as he tilted his head to the side in a cute way.
The former assassin gave a low and quick laugh to the boy’s question and stopped in his motions. It was a good question, why had he been doing it? Perhaps he had allowed his thoughts to run away with him a little too far as he mused about the fact the little one was the only one he had allowed to get so close to him and as a result some kind of affection was showing through. But he had a reputation to maintain so he hid it behind an excuse.
"Not so much as playing as getting it to lay right. It was tickling my nose," he replied.
The child just watched the other and he waited for a response to his question..Though he was smiling a good bit as he watched the other. “Oh? Well it didn’t seem like you were getting it to lay right..It felt like you were playing with it..” he pouted and then shrugged.
"Oh well. Whatever you say." He said softly before he let out a small content sigh.
This kid was a smart one, but then what did he expect when dealing with Atem. He was still the same person regardless of what form or age he was and with his memories slowly but surely returning he could remembered that the other was intelligent and accurately read almost every situation. Still he said nothing more for a few moments trying to think up a good response, but unable to think of another believable excuse after a while gave in.
"This is our secret okay? I have a reputation to maintain."
Atem gave a tiny grin, which didn’t really suit him.. He nodded his head “Right! Our secret! I promise I wont say anything to anyone about this!” He giggled softly. “I understand..But if you want..You can play with my hair more..I don’t mind! It actually feels nice to have someone mess with my hair!” He giggled once again and watched the other.
He breathed a sigh of relief when the prince agreed to keep it between the two of them and had stopped at first but then when he was given permission to continue, he did just that. Why not? It wasn’t as if anyone was around to see him and so he returned his hands to what they were doing.
"How did you get your hair so soft in the past? Shampoo wasn’t invented back then."
He giggled yet again and watched the other for a moment before he hummed and then he gave his brightest smile when the other started to mess with his hair again. “I don’t know…Shampoo? Is that another word for poop? Sounds like it..” He muttered. “But anyways..My hair is just like that! It keeps itself soft.” He shrugged and let out a small laugh.
He gave a quick laugh at the question, an actual laugh, but didn’t feel the humor that went with it. Dark humor and mocking, sure no problem he could do that all day, but actual light humor…more than he could hope for apparently, but still it was something. He couldn’t even smile without it being filled with malice for while now a laugh had come out as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Though it did hurt his throat slightly from being unaccustomed to it. Ah well.
"That is quite the cool trick there prince. And no shampoo isn’t what it sounds like…odd name though is it not?" Honestly who thought up that name for soap anyway?
The child blinked when the other laughed and he couldn't help but to laugh a bit himself. "It is? Well thanks!" he grinned happily and brought a hand up to twirl a piece of his bangs. "It's not? Then what is it? Yeah..Made me think it was poop..How weird." He mumbled quietly, a small pout forming on his lips.
"*pokes*"
Noah turned to look for who poked him, though soon found the child right behind him. “Oh. Hi there.”
He looked up at the other. “‘Tem, we’ve got a visitor.”
Atem turned himself, soon kneeling down to look at the child eye-to-eye with a small smile. “…Hello there. What’s your name?”

Noah smiled and took the boy up into his arms to take him into the kitchen. “Well then let’s fix that. What do you like to eat?”
He let out a small giggle when the other picked him up and then he nodded “right! Um..I like all kinds of food!” He said happily.
Noah chuckled himself, and then his eyebrows rose. “How about a sandwich? What kinds of sandwiches do you like?”
Atem giggled once again and then nodded his head slowly. "Sandwich? That sounds good! Um..Ham ones! I like it." He clapped his small hands together.
Atem watched the other closely and then he rubbed at his eyes yet again. He was trying his hardest to not let the other see him cry..But he didn’t know how much longer he could keep his tears hidden from the other.
He grabbed the handkerchief from the other and he stared at it for a moment, feeling a little bit confused. He then looked at the other again. “I..” he bit his lip. “R-Right..You’re right.” he said quietly. “I was with father before but then I got brought here somehow and father is probably in the palace still..” And he just said that out loud didn’t he? Oh boy.
{✮}- Tipping his head Yuugi watched the little one struggle to stay calm. Puffy eyes never leaving and baby hair fuzz just sticking up, It was rather heart wrenching to see happen. And Yuugi didnt know what to to to keep the little prince calm.
Yuugi bite down on his lip- he really should get some back up.
Looking back so with a hand just gently placed on tinny ones head, the youth sighed. The little one seemed so upset and confused, even with the cloth to wipe his nose, Yuugi just did that for him. Hopefully something could calm him down.
"…Atem, do you like your father?- Do you want me to take you back to the palace? I can understand if you dont want to."
The child may or may not have let out a tiny whimper as he rubbed at his eyes yet again. He was upset and..A little bit scared for some reason..
He looked at the other and nodded his head quickly "O-Of course I do!" He said quickly. "How could you do that?" He asked curiously, looking pretty confused.
He had been slightly afraid of the answer the young Atem would give, bracing himself for whatever it might be but praying they were nearby. Though those three words were not what he expected. The tenderness in his eyes grew with empathy. “You don’t...
He nodded his head slowly "yeah. Alone." He muttered quietly. "For the last few days I have been." He said softly. "I did but I don't remember where it is..." He sighed softly and shook his head slowly.
Ruffle
Atem was just looking around curiously when suddenly he felt fingers running through his hair. He giggled softly..He loved it when people would mess with his hair.
He looked to see who had ran their fingers through his hair and he gave a bright smile when he saw just who it was. “Hi! Why’d you do that? I’m curious. I didn’t mind it though!” He giggled again
A soft smile came over the man as his fingers raked through the younger one’s unruly mane of hair. “To have one’s hair played with is quite a wonderful feeling, and the act itself a gesture of affection, of compassion.” He always did such with his own children’s hair, and loved the sensation it gave when others ruffled his own hair. To Yami it was a kind and friendly action. “Besides, children ought be shown as much affection as possible when they are young~”
The child hummed happily as the others fingers raked through his hair. “Mhm..It is.” He mumbled quietly, his bright smile returning again. “It is?” He asked quietly. He let out a small laugh and nodded his head “That’s true!” He let out a content sigh.
"I think so at least. Forgive me, I feel like physical affection is very important." People had pointed out Yami was more touchy feely than most. He risked a possibly dangerous question… "Did your mommy ever ruffle your hair like this? Or your daddy?"
"It's alright! I think that you are right so everything is all good!" He giggled softly and then blinked at the others question. "My mother never did..she's um..gone. Father did sometimes.." He gave a small smile.

He nodded his head slowly “I see. That’s pretty neat!” he giggled softly and then he nodded again.
"Really? great! That’ll be fun!" He smiled brightly.
They went inside the house, and Atem set the child gently on the ground before Noah went to sit over on the couch [making him a bit less ‘towering’].
"I’ll go see if the twins are awake." He replied before heading down the hall.
Once he had, Noah looked to the younger Atem softly. “So…feeling hungry at all? Or thirsty?”
He let out a small giggle once he was set down on the ground and he looked around a bit.
"Okay.." He mumbled softly. He then looked at Noah and blinked a few times. "Hungry..? Thirsty..? Yeah.." His stomach growled a tiny bit.

Atem was confused..He had just been sitting on the ground playing with his toys when he felt someones fingers run through his hair.

✫ } — By now, Bakura had made it to the way out, and completely unnoticed. His plan was flowing along smoothly. "—Oh it sure is ɢʀᴇᴀᴛ!" He chuckled, now standing up ; and allowing the Prince to ride on his shoulders. Heading outwards, away from the palace, Bakura smirked as he saw his horse standing not where he left it, it had come ᴄʟᴏsᴇʀ on it’s own. How convenient.
"—See that horse, Atem? Would you like to go say hello?” His tone was soft, almost heart-filled. "—Perhaps it would like to become your friend, ᴛᴏᴏ."
He giggled happily and nodded his head quickly "mhm! That's right!" He said softly.
He looked around when he was on the others shoulders.
He saw the horse and he blinked a few times. "Yeah..say hello? Yeah! I wanna say hello!" He giggled softly.

He looked around a bit as the other walked wit him and he let out a small content sigh. Once he saw the park come into view he let out a small happy giggle.
Once he was set down he smiled brightly and looked around more. "I don't know..but I want to play! I know that much!"

The child stared back at the stranger, his head tilted to the side a little bit. "Hello.." He muttered quietly.
"Huh? Maybe.." He shrugged his shoulders. "Mhm I am..How'd you know though? It isn't?" He blinked.
He rubbed at his eyes again and he started to frown a bit again, though he quickly forced a smile onto his face as he looked at the other.
He slowly nodded his head and he let out a small shaky sigh. “You will? O-Okay..Thank you.” he muttered quietly, looking down at his bare feet for just a moment before he looked back up at the other.
"R-Right..That’s probably true.." he mumbled quietly. "Yuugi? Neat name..My name is Atem.." He said softly. "Huh? Oh..Maybe.."
{✮}- Yuugi had to wonder just what kind of parent would leave their little one out in the street like this?- Or a better question what kind of parent would let their little one wonder off without any supervision. He made a face, anything could happen to a young child out in the open like this. It was sad to know this happened a lot.
For the moment he stopped walking and knelt down before the little Atem. No child so feel so afraid and alone like this, so into his pocket he went and handed the little one a handkerchief. “Well Atem, I am glad to see you putting on a brave face- But its okay to be scared you know. We are all a little scared some times its okay. Now tell me where you with your mum or dad?”

"Well they’re twins, and they’re only a month old." Atem explained with a smile. "But they’re both sweet, and I have no doubt they’ll like being around you."
"Not to mention they sleep a lot." Noah replied. "And then when they’re not sleeping, they are EVERYWHERE."
"Twins? neat!" he giggled softly. "A month old? They are so young! I feel old!" He pouted a tiny bit. "Really? Great! I cant wait to see them!" he giggled again.
"Sleep a lot? What’s wrong with sleeping a lot? I thought babies did that..Father said I slept a lot as a baby…Actually I still sleep a lot." He gave a sheepish smile. "Everywhere? That’s funny!"
