Story starts here...
"Keep Talking, I'm Listening."
The room was quiet, the kind of quiet that only existed late at night after an exhausting day.
She lay curled against his chest, her head resting on his arm, completely worn out. The tears she'd been holding back all day finally spilled over.
She wasn't crying gracefully.
She was just... talking.
"I hate university."
A shaky breath.
"I hate feeling like this."
Another sob.
"Everyone else seems to know what they're doing, and I'm just... trying to survive."
She sniffled, rubbing at her eyes.
"I know I shouldn't complain, but I'm so tired."
The words tumbled out in no particular order, one thought chasing another before she could stop it.
He didn't interrupt.
He didn't offer solutions.
He didn't tell her to "look on the bright side" or promise that everything would magically get better.
Instead, his fingers slowly combed through her hair, gently untangling the strands as if he could soothe the knots in her heart just as easily.
Every now and then, he'd press a soft kiss to her forehead or give her hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Mm."
"I know."
"That sounds really hard."
"You've been carrying all of this by yourself, haven't you?"
His voice was quiet, almost a whisper, but she heard every word.
She kept talking.
About university.
About people.
About how unfair everything felt.
About how exhausted she was from pretending she was okay.
And he listened.
Every single word.
Like none of it was too much.
Eventually, her voice grew softer, her sobs fading into quiet sniffles.
He smiled down at her.
"You know..."
She looked up, eyes still glossy with tears.
"You're kind of cute when you ramble."
Her eyebrows shot up.
"I am literally having a mental breakdown."
A quiet laugh escaped him.
"I know."
He brushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"Still cute."
Despite herself, she laughed.
A watery, breathless laugh that made the heaviness in her chest loosen just a little.
Without thinking, she buried her face deeper into his chest, curling up even closer until there was barely any space left between them.
His arm instinctively tightened around her.
Neither of them said anything for a while.
His fingers continued to stroke her hair, slow and patient.
For once...
The warmth of his embrace felt like permission to fall apart.
She didn't have to pretend she was okay.

Last night there was power outage in our area suddenly at night and i couldn't sleep especially with so much silent night and random tiny bit noise here and there. That's when around 3 am I put on enhypen Playlist on YouTube, headphones on and slowly drift to sleep 😭 cause I actually can't sleep in dark and with such silence even when my phone torch was on. It was uncomfortable. Only thing that gave me comfort was ENHYPEN songs.
